5 out of 5 eggsLove the G700

Pros: -Shape, fits in my hand so nicely.

-Buttons, I use every single one of the buttons on the mouse. It's so helpful.

-Wireless, I was worried a wireless would effect gaming performance, but it's 100% accurate and never fails.

-Battery indicator, probably one of my favorite features so you don't go into a tournament/scrim with low battery.

-Battery life, lasts quite awhile for a performance gaming mouse.

Cons: -Battery, if you don't watch your battery life, then it can give out on you at the worst moments. I have 4 rechargeable batteries on the wall right next to me so I literally just switch the battery every 3 days. (Done so for a year)

-Binding, you have to bind the top two side buttons to use them. Not really a con, but I spent like a month thinking they didn't work lol

-Material, it's a really nice and sturdy material, but after a year I found that the texture material on the outside has started to rub off where my thumb is. Not a huge deal, plus you can also sandpaper it all off if you don't like the texture.

Other Thoughts: I could not be more impressed with this mouse. Awesome gaming performance with none of those pesky wires that keep you from moving just a little more to the left. I'd recommend this to anyone, worth every penny.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: This mouse is so comfortable even with my tiny child-like hands. I don't even use it to its full potential.

Cons: None.

2 out of 5 eggsHate the limited battery lifespan

Pros: Customizable buttons
Multiple speed settings for different projects without having to go into the mouse menu each time
Highly responsive
Uses the same power adapter as my Android phone :D :D :D

Cons: I transitioned to the G700 mouse from the MX series and was greatly disappointed with the battery lifespan on this one (my MX mouse literally goes for a month, even after 5 years, without needing a single charge, even after continuous gaming for weeks on end).

Thinking it was a fluke with the one I purchased, I had it replaced through warranty. The result was the same. This mouse will punk out on me after about four hours of solid gaming, and usually before the day is done with regular computer use (we all have days spent vegetating in front of the pc, admit it).

Granted, you can still use it while plugged in to charge, but it makes for a less maneuverable mouse in-game.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the battery issue, do note that this Logitech mouse type (perhaps all of them) does not have a sealed laser underneath. There is a little hole under the mouse where the laser reflectors are, and if you have pets, hair will get trapped in there no matter how much you clean. It obscures the laser until you pull yourself away from what you're doing and tweeze it out.

Pros: Mouse fells really nice in the hand. Buttons fell solid.

Cons: Does not work with Mac. Unable to configure the extra buttons.

1 out of 5 eggsHope you like rubbing sand paper

Pros: Lots of buttons.

Cons: The surface of the buttons is abrasive and extremely uncomfortable. Feels like rubbing sand paper. My wife tried it and she hated it to. Tried to get used to and gave up. The "scroll" button is kind of a waste as most people don't switch between the two modes often.

Other Thoughts: The Logitech software is not compatible with Windows UAC and often UAC must be turned off (security risk much???) to work properly. There are work arounds, aka hacks, but they often worth the effort. Back to the store it goes.

2 out of 5 eggsI like Logitech But

Pros: BIG! For you guys with larger hands struggling with the 1:1 scale to real mice that RAZER puts out, this one will likely be a more comfortable choice.

Got buttons. Lots of them, fairly well positioned to avoid inadvertent operation as well as easy reach for advertant operation.

Cons: DANG THING HAS ALREADY STARTED TO MIS-PROCESS LEFT CLICK.

Ok Note: I use this thing in a business setting, so I'm not spamming left click to blow up a Hurricane or to hack up basilisks. You would call the stress on this mouse "light" and it hasn't held up.

Other Thoughts: Was a good mouse for how long it lasted; but can't see spending good money on a mouse that won't last.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, bad longevity

Pros: Excellent button arrangement, comfortable layout, easy-to-use software, wireless

Cons: G4 and G5 (aka mouse 4 and mouse 5) broke. They both sit on the same piece of plastic, and they both snapped off of what holds it to the mouse. G4 wasn't too bad, but G5 is now unusable. I've owned the mouse for over a year, however I didn't actually start using it heavily until probably 5 months ago. These would be covered under warranty, but as I managed to void mine through no fault of Logitech and every fault of my own.
Battery life could be longer, but then I'm sure we'd lose wireless response time. I'd rather have a wireless mouse half the time then a wired mouse full-time.

Other Thoughts: Even with G5 unusable right now, I've ordered another one. After seeing many faulty button reviews here, I have a feeling there's a bad batch somewhere. I may cancel this one, and try the G700s that just released, as they may have fixed some of the issues surrounding this one, although that may be a bit optimistic. There's really just nothing else I can see that has this balance of buttons and comfort on a wireless mouse. Only thing that comes close is the M.M.O. 7, but they've given that one a tether, so I don't think I'll be too keen.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G700 Thoughts

Pros: - Fantastic Tracking
- Super Comfortable
- Lots Of Buttons
- Personally A Fan Of The Texture/Feel
- On The Fly Charging
- On The Fly Sensitivity Change
- Multiple Profiles With On The Fly Profile Changes
- Logitech Amazing Support

Cons: - Not sure I will count this as a con, but this mouse is heavy! heavier then any Logitech mouse I've used, accept maybe on par with the MX-1000. It has taken some getting used too for sure.
- Battery Life is terrible comparing to my old G7 I use at work.
- Like the G500.........the smooth scroll is such a joke on these new Logitech Mice...totally worthless.
- The charging cord is super thick/stiff, making it difficult for accurate movement.

Other Thoughts: I bought this originally to replace my G7 at work. With the Cons it has, the Pros way way overcome them. I truly love this mouse, I bought another to use at home and retire my G500. Might have to buy a 3rd!

5 out of 5 eggsa very nice mouse

Pros: lots of buttons and the best scroll wheel u can get the simple fact that the mouse is wired/wireless is great i found it fits conferrable in your hand i also like the finish on the product the software is not different from any of there other software works good and not a problem to use also u can use the micro usb to charge your phone wile gaming:D

Cons: there was only a few the software doesn't work with a lot of games however you can just bind them to your number pad. the buttons are in awkward places its a bit hard to use them and remain on your target but that goes with all the other buttons placed by your thumbs also middle finger buttons are behind the mouse wheel i never use them. but that shouldn't turn u away from a great mouse like this one

Other Thoughts: cat hair keeps getting in the hole of the mouse i wish they wold use a lenses to stop that why do all the mouse company's torture us that way

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Gaming Mouse

Pros: On/Off Button, usb optional (and to charge), 4 thumb buttons. Scrolls like a dream, decide between constant spin (ball bearing?) or regular spin (click spin). Also clicks left/right on middle button. DPI settings are the ones next to left click (left of it). Textured to keep a good grip.

Cons: Slightly different DPI settings than other mice, but still amazing.
