Logitech M705 Black 1 x Wheel USB RF Wireless Laser Marathon Mouse

Pros: Mouse has great ergonomics (for right handed folks) and good tracking, scrolling etc. Awesome battery life.

Cons: One review noted the middle mouse functionality is bad. I can concur. I rarely use middle clicks, but if you need to, it's hard to manipulate. If that's a serious requirement, this probably isn't the product for you.

Other Thoughts: I use this mouse for non-gaming activities - work, finance, etc. and it is excellent. I have this mouse on two systems - both work perfectly and have excellent battery life.

Pros: very comfortable great range speed and accuracy not to mention 3 year bat life !!!!!?!!!! how do they do it?

Cons: maybe just user error but I bought a cordless Logitech keyboard that uses the unify receiver setup as well but still seem to need both im sure there is a fix or maybe not but I have more important work and play to do lol

Pros: None - Defective product, very deep in the process. The whole line of M705 mice.

Cons: Specs are very good. The micro switch under the scroll wheel does not work. I went back and forth with Logitech. Make a long story short, I ended up with 4 M705 mice, all with the same defect. Scroll wheel micro switch BAD.

Other Thoughts: I trusted Logitech for 30+ years. I'm very disappointed at their recent products. I never looked at price, if it said Logitech it was worth it. NOT ANY MORE. It's very involved. It's very funny... You buy garbage and then your are held accountable. Prove this, jump, package and ship, back flips. If the product was good, then everything is fine.

Other Thoughts: This is one of the most frustrating pieces of computer hardware I have ever owned. About every ten minutes minimum, and up to every few seconds, I hear the Microsoft breeeeP sound and the mouse stops working. Sometimes it will reconnect immediately with another breeeeP, but most of the time I have to unplug the tiny USB receiver from its port and reinsert. Sometimes that does not work and I wait. Logitech support site talks about this and says to reposition the USB receiver away from USB3.0 ports. It offers to ship you a free cable, but no CSR knows what the heck you're talking about. I just received a USB extension cable from Newegg and placed it within two inches of the mouse. BreeeP! BreeeP! Disconnect, connect. BreeeP! Disconnected again. Unplug, replug; breeeP! This piece of Kraap is going back whenever I find something that works, maybe a PS2 mouse.

Pros: Very well made mouse. I like this mouse more than any others I have used.

Other Thoughts: I am not a gamer so I do not know if this mouse would be good for gaming.

Pros: Most mouse features work as they should, fits the hand nicely.

Cons: If you need to click the middle mouse button to do your job you will hate this mouse. The scroll wheel is very rigid, its hard to click down on it and the mouse does not pick this up as a click very well. Worked about 1/3rd of the time.

Other Thoughts: Had to return the mouse immediately, not having a well functioning middle button makes this mouse worthless. I need a mouse to do 5 basic functions, track, scroll, left/middle/right button click. If you can't perform all those functions well no other bell's and whistle's make up for it.

Pros: Dual mode wheel can scroll forever, or have a click-stop. Lots of useful buttons - back, forward, and assignable hidden thumb button. Good, natural feel for my average size adult male hands. The battery lasts YEARS. The software estimates remaining battery life in days. The lazer is completely invisible... no more blinding yourself when you turn it on. It has held up to heavy use with no wear spots on the paint or trim.

Cons: This great mouse looses an egg because "forever scroll" mode sometimes is a little too sensitive to leave it on. Assignable thumb button require logitech software to be installed on your computer (but the good part is you can assign ALL buttons to new functions, or even keyboard shortcuts.

Other Thoughts: I bought another one of these for my work computer b/c I like it at home so much. I've used these for a pretty long time (years).
