5 out of 5 eggsYou can't go wrong.

Pros: What a great mouse. You can't go wrong with this price. its extremely comfortable and easy to use. the scroll lock is nice too.

Cons: None yet, I take this mouse with me on the weekend, and it doesn't give me any problems.

Other Thoughts: overall its a great mouse, I don't use the side buttons, but there are there and do work. it glides over my house pad.

2 out of 5 eggsLasted a little over a month.

Pros: Comfortable and Easy to handle

Cons: Will not operate on most surfaces, its actually even very picky about the mouse pad you use with it.

Other Thoughts: While working on my computer this afternoon (7/25/2014) it suddenly stopped working. So I tried swapping the battery. I still did not work. I tried swapping the usb port. Still not working. I checked Logitech's support site, it recommended running their "Unity" tool. That did not work either. So I called their tech support department. I went through all the steps with the agent, who after all that disconnected my call while putting me on hold.

So I called back. Went through all the same verification again, and part of the trouble shooting. To be told my mouse was defective. He said I needed to send them a copy of a receipt in order to get the mouse replaced, in order to prove I have this mouse. I told him I was away from home when I purchased the mouse, and did not have the receipt. He said I had to take a picture of the mouse and Email it to them. I informed them I did not have a camera, as the camera on my phone was not working. I was asked to "Go to doors and ask my neighbors".

I told them I would not do that, and to ask such is ridiculous. I was to its policy to ask that of a customer.

I drove to the store, walked in, picked out this mouse, waited in line, payed $35 for it. I have earned the right, and done my part as a customer to have a WORKING mouse.

I read all the numbers off the mouse to them and they all matched up correctly. Do they think I just made those numbers up, and miraculously they matched? There is proof I own the mouse right there.

It seems Logitech would rather have their customers jump though hoops, and make it as difficult as possible to replace a product that has been paid for, and they should stand by.

5 out of 5 eggsVery well made Mouse

Pros: The mouse wheel has 2 functions, one that has a click as you spin the wheel the other allows for very smooth scrolling. This mouse uses Logitech's unifying connection, so I was able to use my existing USB dongle to connect it to my computer. Weight is on par for a quality mouse. Range is excellent, works over 20 ft away. Logitech software allows you to re-task all of the buttons. So far this mouse has been able to handle some serious abuse. It has been dropped, liquid spills, left in the rain... Still works like new.

Cons: 6th button is not a great location, i have a firm grip and tend to accidentally press this button on occasion. Main buttons are not silent. Isn't reshape-able.. (wouldn't that be an awesome feature, to custom shape the mouse for your own hand.)

Other Thoughts: Solid mouse, very well built. I will pay good money for a good product. This mouse fits the bill. I am not one to hand out 5 stars easily. I am horribly picky when it comes to computer equipment. I own a computer store, and my stuff has to be the best. I would recommend this mouse so anyone looking for a premium mouse. Everyone I have sold one of these to has absolutely loved it and the scroll wheel...

1 out of 5 eggsWorst mouse I have ever used.

Pros: Batterly life is as long as advertised

Cons: The mouse is completely inaccurate. Due to the off-center sensor, accuracy is completely impossible with this mouse, and I have never felt a mouse feel so completely wrong. Because of this, everything I try to do with this mouse feels extremely frustrating and I immediately went out and bought a new mouse. That mouse was another logitech and it's also pretty horrible with double-click issues on single click so I went back to this one, only to remember why I hated this so much. I've been using logitech mice for over 15 years, and they just permanently lost a customer.

1 out of 5 eggsunusable

Pros: small form...smooth pointer action...long battery life...unifying software

Cons: loose scroll wheel makes the unit unusable

Other Thoughts: bought this mouse from a big box store packaged with the k750 keyboard three times and have returned all three...keyboard is great, mouse stinks...the mouse's scroll wheel is so loose (I'm assuming to allow for smoother scrolling) it often will roll by itself thus making a web page or document to scroll up or compensate you must move the mouse pointer off of the document or program window to prevent the free scrolling effect...using it on maps is frustrating and sometimes amusing because when zooming in the scroll wheel will zoom back out and then in again creating an effect like you are bouncing in a cartoon...which makes me think that the wheel is not balanced, coupled with the wheel being loose if the heavy part of the wheel is not at the bottom of the wheel, the wheel will fall resulting in auto scrolling effect...very frustrating and disappointing Logitech is still selling these flawed units

1 out of 5 eggsGood mouse, bad everything else

Pros: Great battery life

Cons: Wheel never locks, making opening new tabs very difficult
Right mouse button unlocks it's self making playing MMOs very difficult
Low range, can't be too far from USB

Other Thoughts: If you like using tabbed browsing or playing MMOs this is NOT the mouse for you. If you are a fan of the old 90s mice without scroll wheels then this is a mouse for you.

4 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: Contrary to some other reviews here, I don't think the middle scroll is loose. It's part of the design and makes scrolling down a page super smooth, which is one of my best experiences of this mouse.

Cons: I think it travels a bit fast. But when adjust that thru control panel, one degree down is too slow. So I'm stuck with this slightly fast mouse movement.

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints, works great

Pros: Comfortable, easily programmable, you can turn it off if you want, looks nice, feels solid and well built.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I use this on my desktop with the Unifying Receiver plugged in on a front facing USB port I don't use. Started working seconds after I plugged it in and auto downloaded everything I needed (Win7).
I've read some reviews that stated the scroll wheel just freely spun and they didn't like it because there was no feedback. I sure hope they entered their tech knowledge as "low" when filling out there review (is there a "none" button?).
All you have to do is press the toggle button on top and it switches to the standard style ratcheting feel as you scroll.
Common people, really?

2 out of 5 eggsNot good for gaming

Pros: Long battery life, reliable, back/forward buttons, good wireless range.

Cons: Low sensitivity, tracking feels off, loose scroll wheel

Other Thoughts: I use this from my couch, PC is hooked up to a TV. It does a good job at basic tasks, the 10ft wireless range I get from that tiny receiver is impressive, I've owned this mouse for over a year and it's still on the original batteries. It's a pretty solid mouse, the reason I gave it 2 eggs is because it is worthless for gaming, the laser is way off to the side so it just doesn't feel right, when I was using an MX518 all it took was a small twitch of the wrist to do a 180 and shoot some guy in the face, this thing just feels clunky. I also hate the scroll wheel, it is loose and seems to scroll a couple more lines after I let go of it, scrolling seems to be either the whole page or hardly anything, after tweaking the settings and installing a plugin for chrome it is usable but still not very good.
