4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light weight
Comfortable
Mic cancels nearly all background noise!
It's lasted at least 3 years for me now.

Cons: USB plug is pretty big, which often blocks other things in the nearby port.
Plastic 'feels' cheap
Cord is kind of stiff (Not a con to all people)

Other Thoughts: I picked up this headset years ago, I got mine for around $20. I'd definitely be willing to pay $40 for it though.

After all these years, the mic mute switch has finally broke, the left ear-piece got ripped off after multiple times of my dog putting grabbing the cord with her paws, then pulling it off (on accident). Super glued it back on, and it's good as.. Kind of new.

I can't express how much I love this microphone. I've tried many other headsets with mics, and most of them are way too sensitive and pick up all kinds of background noise. That said, the sound quality on the mic isn't anything impressive. When I speak loudly (basically shout), you can hear the audio just sounds.. Kind of broken, is the best way I can describe it.

Overall, it's fantastic if you want something light-weight, cancels background noise, and don't care much about audio quality.

5 out of 5 eggsLasted me years of gaming and abuse

Pros: This headset is lightweight, and comfortable for long use. I have a massive head, and the adjustment on there made it very usable. USB is always a lovely feature to allow exclusive applications to use it. The cord is massive, features a nice in-line digital volume control which interfaces directly with windows volume on the headset.

Cons: Most folks won't share these same Cons.. Gaming for 4+ hours sometimes caused minor irritation around the tops of my ears. I lost the microphone filter about 3 months in to using it, never had any complaints.(I've heard my voice in playback over the net, and it sounds crystal clear. ) No real cons, though.

Other Thoughts: Sadly, after breaking and repairing this headset 3 times, it's no longer comfortable or wearable. It's time for me to purchase a new headset. I won't be getting the same model, but i'm definitely sticking with Logitech.(maybe the 555 model)

2 out of 5 eggsGood for a month

Pros: Good sound quality, lightweight

Cons: The huge USB plug is too big and ends up being the achilles of this otherwise good product

Other Thoughts: After a month or so this product is completely useless for me. I use it in a VM and all of a sudden it starts freezing my VM when attaching it.

2 out of 5 eggsVery comfortable. Dead after two days.

Pros: The fit is wonderful, and comfortable for hours on end. Initially, the microphone sound quality was great, and the speakers are at least par for the price. The inline volume control is fantastic.

Cons: The microphone suddenly seemed to reverse it's noise cancellation, so all it would record was noise. I could hear my voice in the background, but it really sounded like the NC system just flip flopped. Very odd, and unfortunately renders the whole thing useless.

Other Thoughts: I was quite happy with this product for a couple days, but it's dead, and since i discarded the packaging, it looks like i will have to pay for a new unit. Just a reminder... always save your packaging.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very good sound quality for voice although untested for music,. The mic quality was also described to me as very good. The over the ear comfort is not bad, just felt a little different is all. They worked with the Mac right out of the box.

Cons: Be prepared to have some super glue on hand for when one of the earphones breaks off, an easy fix but I'll be buying another brand or testing out another Logitech model. Is this what Logitech knew when they designed and tested them? "Great sound, great price, so they'll come back for more!"?

Other Thoughts: I purchased them at Fryd's and not here at Newegg. Maybe Logitech will make longer lasing gear if people stop buying them.
Purchases always seem to fail me when I don't read reviews before-hand.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sound quality is great, they are comfortable and the mic mute and volume control is nice.

Cons: didn't work with realtek because it was plugged in the USB not a big deal seeing how sound quality is great from the start

3 out of 5 eggsOverall Great Headset

Pros: +Awesome sound quality
+Comfortable fit behind the head
+8ft cable
+Price

Cons: -USB adapter is too large
-Kind of heavy (due to the 8ft long cord)
-Speakers are a bit flimsy

Other Thoughts: This headset sounds awesome and feels really comfortable on your head! Its great not just for talking but for listening to music and watching movies. Unfortunately the greatest downside to this is the size of the USB adapter. Coming from the plug it looks like your standard flash drive with an extra 1 inch sheath surrounding the cable. When combined with the heavy weight of the cable I find myself worried that the adapter may just break the USB port on my laptop. For this reason I cannot give it 5 stars and highly recommend getting a 6 inch extension cord just to prevent any possible damage. If you are going to buy it make sure you have at least 4 inches coming out from your USB port (unless you use an extension cord).

Everything considered, I'd give this headset a 3.5 out of 5 seeing how it really is a high performer.
