3 out of 5 eggsPower connection might get loose

Pros: Sound is great; mic works well, great options.

Cons: I used it for about 12 hr a day for a year. Here is the problem: connection in to the head set started to get loose and head set turns off and on with slightest move, sending screeching noise to my listener. Head set stopped warning me when it is going to die, so at the end I preferred it plugged in. I ended up buying another one of the kind (see pros), but with cord permanently set.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: The headset works great for gaming - it is comfortable, clear, and the surround sound is awesome. I do not use the macro buttons very much. I do like the feature where the mic mutes itself when you place it in the up-position and unmutes itself when you bring it down to talk.

Cons: The only issue i've had with this so far (and it could be quite annoying for some) is that the surround sound audio will randomly not initialize even though it is turned on from the headset. However, the fix for this is to unplug the usb receiver and plug it back in and then it works fine. I believe this is a software issue and more users may have experienced the same problem.

Other Thoughts: All-in-all it is a great headset and i would highly recommend it.

1 out of 5 eggsWorthless

Pros: *Good sound when it works
*Decent battery life
*Relatively comfortable to wear

Cons: Constant interference makes them basically useless.

Other Thoughts: Having owned a bevy of other logitech products I wouldn't recommend buying from them at all. Everything they make seems to be hamstrung by some critical issue that logitech can't fix.

2 out of 5 eggsPotentially good, but too many issues

Pros: - Fantastic surround sound (when it works)
- Cool voice morphing
- Volume control
- Average comfortability (wearing glasses)

Cons: Biggest con: Awful interference and dropping connection VERY often. After playing with this headset and it's setup for months, I haven't been able to find a solution to the wireless issue. It loses connection anywhere from once or twice an hour, to 5 or 6 times a minute depending how many audio sources are playing on my computer and the battery life left. For a headset this expensive and made by logitech I expected better from it. It will lose connection for sometimes up to 10 seconds before reconnecting, which is frustrating during crucial games where sound is needed. Also hear static and scratching sometimes.
- Disconnects way more often when I'm using the surround sound (more data being sent I guess), which means to have a decent playing experience, I can't even use one of this headsets best features.
- Can become uncomfortable during extended session from the pressure it puts on the arms of my glasses
- Battery life may be short for some. Mine seems to only last 6-8 hours before needing a recharge
- Sometimes doesn't connect properly when I turn it on. The light just blinks green and stays that way. Unless I power it down and back up again, it won't connect.

Other Thoughts: Overall has the potential to be a good headset, but constant connection issues completely negate any positives this headset has going for it. I would have given it 1 star if not for the excellent surround sound.

1 out of 5 eggsAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

Pros: None.

Cons: Loses Connection Constantly
Bad Customer Service
Poor Support

Other Thoughts: I bought these when they were on sale for $105 and after having them for 3 years I have to say, they're just plain awful. They cut out every few minutes and take way too much interference from way too many sources. For Logitech to screw up this badly speaks volumes about Logitech as a company. For these to work correctly, Logitech expects you to not have WiFi, Cell Phones, cordless phones or anything else that produces and/or receives a signal.

So in short:

Bad for Gamers, good for the Amish .

1 out of 5 eggsWorst interference ever

Pros: Decent audio quality

Cons: Because it works on the 2.4Ghz spectrum, prepare to have this thing disconnect frequently. Every few minutes mine disconnects and takes 3 seconds to reconnect, making it extremely irritating to play games or watch TV/movies. Logitech replaced this headset twice and then told me it was my problem not them. Definitely the last Logitech product im ever going to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech G930 headset Review

Pros: Keeping this short and sweet:
-Very comfortable. Been on all day gaming sessions (8+ hours) and I've never felt the headset weighing down on me. Ears were never sore, and if they were, simply readjusting the headset fixed the issue.
-Build quality is respectable. I've dropped the headset several times on accident, and haven't had an issue. Don't throw them across your room, though.
-For myself, the headset lasts about 8-9 hours on a full charge. Takes about 3 hours to recharge. This is relatively average, but still a pro in my opinion.
- 7.1 surround works great. After using the headset for an extended period of time it becomes second nature, and is very helpful in games like BF4. Stereo on the other hand is a different story.
-Mic quality is great, as well as the voice morphing software.
-The software U/I works great, and works even better when you have it paired with other Logitech devices (g13). I have heard of complaints and "buggyness" of the software, but after using it for nearly 2 years on the g13 I have no complaints.
-Great responsiveness and quality. Finding no audio lag and has great feedback for being a wireless headset.
-Noise canceling could be better, but the comfort makes of for it.
-Macro's are great, rarely use them though.
-Never taking for granted easy access to volume manipulation again. Probably my favorite thing about this headset.

Cons: A few cons, though.
-Stereo audio through the left speaker is lacking. Almost as if it's turned down in comparison to the right. No issues in surround, though.
-The adjustable length on the headset tends to slip after time. You may start at setting 3, but after 4 hours it may end up at 7 if you find yourself bouncing around a lot. Not a huge issue.
-It does, as stated, randomly cut out with interface from other devices. This happens to me rarely(once every 4-5 hours), and if it begins to constantly, simply restarting the headset fixes it.
-The on/off button can be frustrating to use, due to you having to apply a fair amount of pressure for 3+ seconds to turn it off.
-Volume adjuster sometimes shuts off and stops working. A restart of the headset fixes it.
-Computer sometimes boots not detecting the headset. A restart fixes it.

Other Thoughts: All in all, I give it 5 stars. All problems and issues are easily fixed, and hasn't effected gameplay for me majorly. Highly recommend them.

4 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby, could be better.

Pros: The wireless range was higher than I expected. I was able to still have a decent connection while outside at the very opposite end of the house with the signal having to travel through multiple walls. The battery life isn't too shabby, and the set is a decent comfort level on the ears and head.

Cons: No matter how much I tweak the fit, it has a tendency to fall off my head. Not just slowly slide, but just PLOOF off it goes. The charging "base" is rather tacky, and would be nice if it could rewind more easily, I just leave it unwound now. That being said, it almost negates the reason why I bought these in the first place, as all my previous headsets died only because they were wired and I move around ALOT with headsets. Would do better with braided wires, but you get what you pay for I suppose. The build quality is pretty cheap, whenever you twist the earpieces it sounds like it's going to break in your hands. You can even hear it creaking if you move your head.

Other Thoughts: I have no thoughts on the mic, I haven't used it yet. Same goes for the macro keys. A few simple DIY mods and alot of the cons I posted above can be alleviated I would bet. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the seriously annoying creaking in the headset, seems like a REALLY cheap build quality.
