4 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby, could be better.

Pros: The wireless range was higher than I expected. I was able to still have a decent connection while outside at the very opposite end of the house with the signal having to travel through multiple walls. The battery life isn't too shabby, and the set is a decent comfort level on the ears and head.

Cons: No matter how much I tweak the fit, it has a tendency to fall off my head. Not just slowly slide, but just PLOOF off it goes. The charging "base" is rather tacky, and would be nice if it could rewind more easily, I just leave it unwound now. That being said, it almost negates the reason why I bought these in the first place, as all my previous headsets died only because they were wired and I move around ALOT with headsets. Would do better with braided wires, but you get what you pay for I suppose. The build quality is pretty cheap, whenever you twist the earpieces it sounds like it's going to break in your hands. You can even hear it creaking if you move your head.

Other Thoughts: I have no thoughts on the mic, I haven't used it yet. Same goes for the macro keys. A few simple DIY mods and alot of the cons I posted above can be alleviated I would bet. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the seriously annoying creaking in the headset, seems like a REALLY cheap build quality.

3 out of 5 eggsGood Quality, but Too Buggy

Pros: The headset sounds really nice, mic works great, and the mute on flip-up is a great feature. Battery life is good, was about 6-8 hours on a full charge when new. Range is decent, but it struggles around 25 feet with a couple walls between it and the receiver.

Cons: If you live anywhere with a lot of traffic on the 2.4 Ghz band, sometimes routers, even microwaves seem to mess with it sometimes, then it might cut in and out or crackle.

The software is really buggy, and currently gives me distorted sound and crackling sometimes during gaming or listening to music (not related to the wireless issue, it only happens with the latest drivers). This can be fixed by using older versions of the drivers, but since I have a Logitech mouse as well, I need the Logitech Gaming Software to run the mouse, which is used for the headset as well, installing over the older drivers.

Another minor annoyance is if you unplug the charging cable, you lose the functionality of your volume wheel, requiring you to turn off the headset and turn it back on again to reset it. The power button also has to be held down for 3-4 seconds for it to work.

Other Thoughts: Just not worth the price, all the issues are too much of a pain, and for the money you're paying you deserve a headset that is reliable.

4 out of 5 eggsI like it

Pros: Sound quality is good and the battery life is more than I expected. I use on a daily basis for communication for online games and I've never had it stop working on me when I need it. The microphone is noise cancelling. I have a fan on me most of the time when using my PC and no one can hear it when I speak.

Cons: The range isn't what I would expect. It also has a weird bug that if you have to hard restart your PC (PC freezes are typically the cause of this) the power light will start blinking and when your PC is back up and running the headset turns on and off every second. You have to manually re-sync the headset to the wireless USB dongle that comes with it.

Other Thoughts: I would buy this again, it's a good product and has held up for almost two years with little to no issue. It's worth the money if you hate being tied up by cords or if you have a dog who likes to check on things...

1 out of 5 eggsWorks when it wants to

Pros: Comfortable, can wear these for hours. Does do surround sound.

Cons: Cuts out for 3-4 seconds on an irregular basis. You have no control over this. It looks like it has interference with every other wireless device in your house. There is a FAQ entry to help reduce this, but it won't solve your problem, only reduce the occurrence of it.

You could try submitting a support ticket to Logitech via their CS portal. However, it looks like they arbitrarily delete support portal accounts and if you submit a ticket without an account you do not get a confirmation email.

Other Thoughts: With no options open to me to get the headset to work, I think it's reasonable to give this product 1 egg. I've had this product for almost a year now and have had a long time to conclude that the issue is just not solvable through regular means.

3 out of 5 eggsgood sound poor durability

Pros: The sound quality is outstanding. I can literally go anywhere in my house and still here what is going on in the game while I play.

Cons: Durability is an issue. It seems that this head set like all the others I have owned does not hold up to sustained use. The weak link is always the point where the head band connects to the earpad assemblies. The swivel design that is used breaks easily. This head set was no different. I picked it up to use it and the left ear phone was hanging. I had the same problem with Creative labs and other cheaper brands.

Other Thoughts: I bought this last year - guess I will contact Logitech and see If I can get them repaired. I still like Logitech. This problem seems to be common with most headsets and may be something I just have to put up with.

2 out of 5 eggsLogitech G930 - meh

Pros: wireless, so that's obvious
can be used while charging
emulated surround sound works pretty well

Cons: constant buzzing while plugged in via USB
signal fades in and out while sitting <3 feet away from receiver
Did I mention the AWFUL buzzing?

Other Thoughts: I want to like this headset. I've always enjoyed Logitech hardware and will frequently buy their equipment over another brand. The build quality seems good, the features are good, but the operation...not so good. These things will constantly buzz if you are using them while they are plugged in to the USB to charge. The buzzing is NOT a low, soft noise. I can hear the signal fading and cutting off from time to time while in use. The transmitter is sitting on my desk right beside my keyboard and I'm sitting less than 3' away from it. This, is sad performance. They sound pretty good for playing games, even the little bit of music to which I've listened sounded good. I just don't think I would recommend these to anyone else. If I thought I could easily return these for a full refund, I probably would. The only problem is that I'm not sure there is another wireless headset out there in the appropriate price range that I could be confident would perform any better.

5 out of 5 eggsWHat are you waiting for?

Pros: - Amazing sound quality, just as good as wired.
- Gets 40m of range in my house, just as advertised.
- Lasts 10 hours without a problem.
- Programmable keys and built in volume slider.
- Works on my android phone using a usb otg adapter, even the G-keys and volume slider works.

Cons: *Is heavier than it feels, and it noticeably messes up my hair, but this isn't really a con.

Other Thoughts: If you play competitive FPS games this is a must. The sounds of bullets whizzing by you and cracking against walls next to you are just amazing with this headset.

3 out of 5 eggsMixed review

Pros: Sounds good. Works well with Dragon 12.5. Seems to have a good range. Headset has metal band instead of all plastic Over the past 3 years I have replaced two different brands because the headset cracked off at the extension.

Cons: In the 9 days I've had it it has dropped out (disconnected itself) 15 times while I'm 1 foot away from the transceiver. I need it for daily medical dictation and I can't simply send it back for replacement unless I can get the replacement and then return to defective item. (Headset and/or transceiver).
