5 out of 5 eggsBest Gamepad for PC! Install the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad driver and it'll work great.

Pros: I have two of these gamepads and my family loves them. We play everything on Steam. They work great with "Big Picture" and I didn't even need to program the config for each game. Install the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad driver and it'll work great. These gamepads do both X-input and direct input! The wireless XBox 360 gamepad for PC only does X-input.

Cons: ~ $10 more for each than I paid for my two Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2s 18 months ago.

No "player 1/2/3/4" assignment light on the gamepad. But the Microsoft XBox 360 gamepad program will pop-up with the correct player assignment whenever the center "Logitech" button is pressed. The pop-up does not display within games, so you'll have to select the player assignment before the game is started. This isn't a big deal.

I wish I had four F710s for 4-way Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed.

Other Thoughts: I had the older Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 and they are direct input only. Newer games all use X-input (XBox360). I used X360ce to emulate with my Rumblepads but it was always glitchy. The F710 works every time after the XBox 360 gamepad driver was installed.

5 out of 5 eggsVery pleased

Pros: -Free batteries!
-Feels great
-Plenty of functions

Cons: -None that I can see so far!

Other Thoughts: I was so happy when I finally got this in the mail. I had been using my PS3 Dualshock, but unfortunately the drivers for the joystick axis was causing my OS to repeatedly crash.

Once I got the product open I realized something: I forgot to even buy batteries. But there were already two Duracell batteries in the controller! Not even an off-brand cheap pair (nice)! The controller also comes with a 6' cable which can extend the wireless signal adapter. It is a USB-in to USB-out cable, so I could probably even use this cable for many other USB port hardware for extra reach.

3 out of 5 eggsConnection Issue

Pros: 1. It is wireless
2. Nice touch on the hand

Cons: 1. Connection is horrible when the dongle is plug on the back of the CPU ( on the front usb no issue)
2. This has Issue on windows 8 the driver has issue on it but there is a work around you just have to install the driver manually which is the xbox wireless controler driver

Other Thoughts: For the the price they could have thrown in a rechargeable battery to make more convinient

4 out of 5 eggsGood, but not great

Pros: Compatible with every game I've played so far; no programming necessary (yet?).

Cons: Bottom triggers aren't as easy to manipulate as I would like. I don't use four fingers at the top, so my index fingers do all the work, and they get a little sore after extended/intense gameplay.

Other Thoughts: Not bad. I might buy an X-Box controller to see if the triggers are easier on my lead digits. I'd have no problems w/ it if I used four fingers on the top of the controller.

5 out of 5 eggsBest PC Controller ever!!!

Pros: It is a Playstation style controller! Works with pc games from the Windows 95 days to now. 2013

Cons: You need to download the Xbox 360 PC drivers from Microsoft.
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/xbox-360-controller-for-windows

Other Thoughts: Controller is amazing works great with ever game I have tried it with. games from 1995-2013 No problems. The fact the controller has a switch that lets you put it in classic game mode is great. The xbox 360 controller will not work with older games but this one will cause of the switch on the top of the controller.
A lot of games now support the xbox controller by default which is cool and all but I like this controller better.

There is one issue that can be fixed quickly. Those games with native xbox controller support need the xbox 360 driver.
I am assuming since this is not a microsoft product that is why logitech does not point that out.

When you set up your controller it is plug and play but you need to download the xbox 360 controller driver for the games that use that controller. here you go.

After you install best controller ever.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price is about right. Familiar, solid feel. Wireless connectivity has been impeccable.

Cons: D-pad precision leaves something to be desired. Especially when playing older top-down view RPG types

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Wireless Controller

Pros: Great Feel. Good Weight. Perfect Button Layout. Analog Sticks Respond Well. Good Battery Life.

Cons: Wireless range is a little lacking.

Other Thoughts: this is a great controller. The response is good. The battery life is great. I use rechargables and they last longer than my Wii remotes do. My only minor complaint is the wireless receiver needs to be line of sight. Sometimes if I put my feet up in the recliner and rest the controller in my lap I'll get some dropped button presses. This is really minor and not enough to drop an egg. Overall this is a great wireless controller.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Been playing games with the old wired logitech for 7 years - thought it's time to finally go wireless. This is a very nice gamepad. Has a solid feel and very responsive

Cons: It's not really a con, but it is a little bit heavy.

Other Thoughts: I really like that it comes with an extension cord for the receiver.

2 out of 5 eggsF710 disappointment

Pros: Good feel, good weight

Cons: Always drops signal, can't program the triggers to be buttons for certain games

Other Thoughts: Logitech should have done this controller like the G700 mouse, USB plug in to sync and charge it.

I own 2 of these, both gives me trouble
