4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Had it for a little over a month, and works great so far.
* D-Pad feels a little weird at first, but is very responsive.
* Vibration is strong, and appears to have two settings.

Cons: *Cord is slightly too short to plug in the back of the pc and route behind the desk. USB extension cord recommended.

Other Thoughts: * Left and Right Triggers are a little small and don't push in as far as other brands. While that keeps them out of the way and makes a smaller form factor, some people may find them uncomfortable or hard to use.
* The ability to swap the input of the D-Pad and the Left Analog stick right on the controller could be of help in some games.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Game pad

Pros: This is a great gaming pad. It is comfortable to hold and works very well. The vibration knocks it off the desk at times when Not using in physical use.

Cons: Analog sticks need a little adjustment in the sensitivity area.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect Controller, Not So Perfect Cord

Pros: Controller fits beautifully in your hand; very comfortable.
Amazing D-Pad (Good for Emulators (2-D Gaming).
Pretty good Joysticks.
Will last a pretty long while, depending on your positioning.

Cons: Very sensitive cord. I have gone through 2 of these controllers because of their cords. 1 for 9 months, 1 for 2 months. This is also a pain because it usually has issues at the base where it's hard to fix because of some rubber block that's impossible to move. (Semi-Major Con)
Main 4 buttons (mostly X) can end up getting sticky after a while and you'll have to wash off the gunk eventually from the inside. (Small Con)

Other Thoughts: If you are a 2-D type of gamer, this controller is perfect for you. Other than that cord and occasional sticky keys, this controller is pretty much flawless.

4 out of 5 eggsInstallation can be confusing

Pros: Has a very solid feel to it, I don't think this thing is going to break anytime soon, and I can be pretty rough with controllers. Overall a good controller

Cons: The biggest con for me was installing it. This is my first controller for PC, so I may just be unfamiliar with the way things work. On the back of the controller, there is a switch between direct input, and Xinput. Direct input is what you have programmed it to do and Xinput is what the windows drivers tell it to do. Basically, when it's on Xinput, the computer sees it as an Xbox 360 controller, and the software won't recognize it. This lead to a great deal of confusion when installing

A few small things as well, I don't like the resistance on the triggers and I wish the dpad wasn't floating

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend this controller, just know what you're doing first (hopefully I helped out a bit)

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Build

Pros: Sturdy, really nice rubber material/feel on the handles (black parts), sticks aren't too hard to press, floating D-pad, no dead zones that I've found, vibration isn't wimpy, Windows quickly found drivers for it.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My only real beef is that my fingers are a tad short to reach the main triggers the way I would like. The buttons land in about the middle of my finger when I would like them to pass over the buttons with a little room to spare so I can squeeze them rather than pull. Also, the cord is at least 6 feet long and would probably only be a problem if you tried to play from a couch. I plug mine into a frontal panel USB and have plenty of slack.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertosed

Pros: Plugged it in and it worked on both Windows 7 64-bit and Linux Mint. MAME picked it up and it just worked. Vibration feedback works great with games that support it.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsStill good!

Pros: Solid feel, nice weight, easy to set up, works as expected, nothing feels cheap extremely durable, can handle drops.

Cons: Not really a con, but the cord is short, 3 feet at most. good for gaming at your desk but not from the couch, if you want to sit on your couch get the wireless. Only one ugly color.

Other Thoughts: It is well built, my two and six year old children abused them for nearly a year and they work the same as day one. Survived many drops and throws to the hard wood. No setup right out of the box for xbox controller enabled games. Other games AND fine tuning stick sensitivity can be setup easily in a few minutes by an adult with the included software disc. Can remap buttons. Lacks an auto fire / button lock / button spam function that you might use in older emulated arcade games. Wish there were at least two colors.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Controller... while it lasts

Pros: Heavy
Feels good in hands
Rubber grips
Compatibility with games

Cons: Falls apart fast

Other Thoughts: I initially got this controller in October of 2010. I've already gone through three, all because of the same issue.
The part of the wire that connects to the controller tends to fray/come out easily and thus, the controller stops working.
The first time this happened, Logitech was awesome about replacing it. Then that controller broke, and I replaced it. The last one just broke, and I'm getting the f710 (wireless version of this).

I love the feel of this controller, but I don't like paying for something that breaks every few months.

2 out of 5 eggsDon't go for it

Pros: Playstation style layout with XInput
Rumble

Cons: Terrible analog dead zones

Other Thoughts: I got this gamepad for racing games and all I can say is that it's a letdown from the older Logitech Gamepad 2. The dead zones take up about half of the entire analog stick and the triggers are awkward. Go with the XBox controller for Windows and you'll be happier.
