2 out of 5 eggsGreat, but short lived

Pros: Great sound
good range 30' if no walls

Cons: lasted 100 days, then it turns on, cycles off, then back on, charger makes no difference, just keeps the on/off cycle going forever. Doesn't receive sound anymore. Not eligible for return.
$50 for 3 months use seems a bit steep for a headset

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sounds good when it works

Cons: Doesn't work. Bought on sale and right speaker was intermittent at best. RMA. New one the left one doesn't work at all. Bought the one year extended and am told I can't RMA this one. Thanks for the shaft.

2 out of 5 eggsBad experience with this headset, times 2

Pros: -Sounds great
-Good mic, according to others
-fairly comfortable for me

Cons: -I've owned 2 of these headset. The first was brand new, and just over a year after purchased, the right side stopped making sound.
-The second one I got refurbished, and less than 6 months of use, now doesn't charge. And, as it's refurbished, Logitech won't have anything to do with a warranty.

Other Thoughts: It seems that many people love this headset, and its up high on many "Top wireless headset" lists. I can't recommend them anymore.

4 out of 5 eggsfirst wireless headset, not my last

Pros: good sound quality

good mic quality

pretty comfortable and well adjustable

mic never gets in the way

long charging cord with deal to wrap cord up in

Cons: petty cons

software is garbage/takes forever to recognize my headset/wont start with windows so dont forget and start gaming because then vehicle sounds especially are wayyy off. this is probably fixable but since it works I wont spend time "fixing" it

took me a while to figure out how to unselect the voice morph feature ,just click whichever voice is activated, this may have been my fault but it still made me look stupid when im talking like some sort of monster online

After several hours my ears start to get pretty sore, but I just take that as a reminder that I should probably go outside

actual cons

Battery life is really garbage... usually about 3 hours STRAIGHT off the charger IF I am lucky (website claims 10hours, maybe if they are "on" with no audio coming through them) would not be a huge deal but >>>

the plug goes into the headphones in the lowermost point of the left ear and the plug is straight so it hits my shoulder everytime I look at my left monitor and makes me feel like im either going to break the plug or the socket that it goes into eventually on accident.

Other Thoughts: I don't like to charge a half full battery cause I don't want the battery life getting even worse. That means this thing dies on me almost every time I use it. its almost like a wired headset with a really annoying cable setup.

I haven't bothered with the "g-keys" on the side but it is really nice having the volume control on the side.

If it werent for the battery life these would be a 5 star product but it seems like most owners hate the batteries.
you can supposedly get "new replacement" batteries for about 13usd online but I dont know that they would be any better and I shouldn't have to spend 13$ more to get what I already paid for.

I got the extended replacement plan and will probably be taking advantage of that in a year

4 out of 5 eggsconnection drop fix found

Pros: this headset is amazingly comfortable and have a great sound.
wireless no chord hassle which is the main reason of my purchase but ended up being amazed by the depth fullness and low end of the sound.
would definitely recommend to a friend or family memeber

Cons: the few cons i find is the chord it would be nice if it was auto retracting but anyways main reason is a signal drop issues that people complain about but as it turns out it is a auto 15 minute turn off when there is no sound detected and due to the fact the Logitech relies on the windows driver they will shut off in that time at this point i've found that you can either use a older driver or go to your location of installation (usually C: drive) and got to program files/Logitech gaming software/resources/g930/manifest/Devicemanifest and edit that file with notepad++ and find "turnoffintervel" and change the time of 15 minutes (900 seconds) to a much longer time this should solve your connection and auto shut off problems

1 out of 5 eggsVery enjoyable when it works, but it does not

Pros: Sound quality is quite good for wireless, integrated surround sound and microphone, programmable macro buttons, volume control on headset. When it's working properly, this headset is great, unfortunately that does not happen often.

Cons: The disconnects on this headset are nothing short of legendary. Just try googling about g930 disconnects, if you're in an area that has any amount of other devices running on the 2.4ghz spectrum there is no chance it will have any level of stability. It makes annoying beeping noises and will make communication with friends really frustrating.

Likely relating to poorly programmed drivers and unstable wireless communication, the buttons often do not work. I encountered a situation once where the volume roller did not change my volume, but tapping the power button would make it process some of the other presses. The power button is super stiff and it needs to be pressed way too hard and way too long to actually turn off, and it doesn't turn off until you let go so you only know if you've held it down long enough until it fails to turn off.

As a final note on the cons, the mute functionality indicates with a red light on the microphone which is a nice touch, but it sometimes fails! It often randomly loses mute status and this could potentially lead to uncomfortable scenarios.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy this headset unless you live somewhere very remote and don't use many other wireless devices, and even then I would still be dubious about it.

1 out of 5 eggsLogitech G390

Pros: Sound good.Look good. Works for some people.

Cons: Don't waste your money! Headset barley works due to wireless frequency issues D/Cing you constantly and Logitech does not have a fix for it. If you don't believe me, look for G390 Headset issues. Spent 3 hours looking for fixes that don't exist or flat out don't work. The head set is super heavy and has no air flow so your ears sweat badly. Save your self the hassle and get something else.

2 out of 5 eggsDoesn't hold charge

Pros: - Good sound, comfortable

Cons: Battery simply doesn't hold charge for more than an hour or so. Then the headset just cuts out every few minutes. Meanwhile logitech software reports that headset is at full charge but the light on the headset itself says it needs to be charged.

Other Thoughts: Going to try another one if that doesn't work either - will stick to a wired/another brand.
