3 out of 5 eggsMicro USB is weak

Pros: Comfortable and by far the best gaming headset ive owned.

Cons: After 13 months of owning the product the micro usb completely displaced itself from the board and of course will no longer charge. This is by far the greatest flaw in this headset.

Other Thoughts: Logitech will not touch it because its refurbished and will not touch it either. Very disappointed that neither is willing to do anything since this is a fairly known issue. I know people complain online about the simplest of things but I would expect more from a Logitech Gaming Headset that regularly cost $160 new. As someone else pointed out, refurb just usually means it failed Q.C. somewhere along the lines.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset, needs better drivers

Pros: So the best parts is:
Sound quality is amazing. Like others have said I hear it all from the mids, the highs are just right and the bass isn't overbearing.
Mic sound quality is great. I have heard no complaints from the people I talk to online but you know, I have never heard myself in person.

Cons: Let me just say the drivers. The are terrible. They have a habit of only having one application active to the headset. That means if I want to play a game with sound, my voice client might not work. And if I want the voice client to work, then no sound in the game. And just the other day the headset brought everything down sound level wise. As I had everything 100% volume but I was getting 40% volume. Then randomly it went back up to 100%.

Other Thoughts: If you are doing one thing at a time this headset is great. But I like to have multiple applications open at once so no Bueno for me.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: It's wireless, and able to be customized.

Cons: There is a battery, so it dies, some times.

Other Thoughts: I read the reviews for this, and noticed that it was 2.4 Ghz, and that people were having connectivity issues. I wanted to reduce this risk, so I disabled the 2.4 ghz frequency on my router, and only enabled 5ghz to reduce radio wave pollution. I've never had connectivity problems. I did however have an issue where the headset would turn off after 15 minutes. I found a configuration file for this installed with the Logitech software for the headset, and modified the XML file to toggle the 15 minutes to 10,000 minutes (hopefully it never shuts off on me). This was an annoying, but understandable feature to preserve battery life. The battery lasts at least 6 hours before it beeps at me, but I don't game longer than that. I plug this in the night after it beeps, and then it's ready to go the next day. All in all, I like this headset, and it gives me no problems.

2 out of 5 eggsA year later, my review.

Pros: - It still works: 7.1 surround sound as well as the microphone.
- Still comfortable to wear.
- Good sound quality - nice base, good range in silent and loud.
- Sturdy transmitter station with an acceptable cable length.

Cons: After about 6 months:
- Battery shows significant signs of wear
- Microphone boom broke close to the joint - because they made it out of hard plastic instead of rubber
- USB charger connection on the headset starts to wear out
- Headset crashes (firmware) at times when left charging.

After one year of use:
- The faux leather on the ear muffs starts to flake off.

In general: The base station could have included a stand for the headset that would have prevented a lot of issues. (Mic boom breaking, cable connector wearing out...)

Other Thoughts: The headset I got refurbished seemed to be brand-new out of box. It was delivered without the second head form top poster, but that did not bother me since it sits very comfortable even after long use. However, what bothers me is the wearing on this headset. After just one year, the material in contact with my skin is flaking off. I don't even use it that often. If I would have been a hardcore gamer (like I was when using the G330), it would have worn out in less than 6 months. That is unacceptable in this price range. I know - I had a refurbished product, but judging from the cable station and USB connector, it was practically brand new. The broken boom is another issue that should not have happened: I put it down to answer the door with the boom maybe sticking out 30 degrees, well, and it broke. I fixed it with Scotch tape - what and eye sore. Also, Mini-USB is a horrible way to connect for power. I thought it was well-known that phones that used this were prone to not charge correctly. Yes, this problem comes into play here as well. To add insult to injury, the battery very early on started to have less and less of a charge - starting after about 3 months. Now, it may have 20min being wireless in total. I use it as a wired headset now.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Gaming headset! Simple setup!

Pros: I was able to move around with the headset like getting supplies without taking of the headset etc.. Also no cables so I don't always have to untangle the cords. Surround Sound was like a whole new level in hearing goes beyond. The microphone was way more clearer than my last headset! Way more comfortable than any other headset.

Cons: I hate how short the batteries are (8hrs) I would love for it to be longer so I don't always have to charge, but I would understand. Since I bought a refurbished headset I would understand this problem but sometimes my headset turn off and on, making me have to turn of the power button on the headset or even restarting my computer.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat when it works, also sounds pretty good

Pros: pros:
1. sounds good
2. comfortable, I use these at work for almost 8hrs throughout the day and they remain comfy and do not give me a headache like other models.
3. mic is very clear during skype chats
4. wireless range is pretty good, i've been almost 25 feet away with little to no audio clipping.
5. can be used while charging

Cons: 1. after a while (6 hrs to a few days) the wireless connection becomes unstable.
when unstable:
a. Audio will drop out then reconnect
b. audio drop outs will become more frequent the long your wait.
c. sometimes you'll hear electrical noise/static/ringing, it gets louder and louder. Pulling the receiver or turning headphones on/off generally resolves this annoyance.
3. rebooting computer generally fixes the connection issue for a while.
4. Gx buttons don't really work in windows 10

Other Thoughts: 1. I don't recommend this product because of the hassle it causes
2. I can live with the random drop outs because I mainly use these for work, and I reboot often.

2 out of 5 eggsOkay product, gave me issues within 2 months.

Pros: Microphone was fine and sound quality was good, worked well for gaming. Loved the wireless functionality.

Cons: An issue while trying to charge the headset started to occur around 2 months within use of the product. I understand it is refurbished although 2 months is a really short time to get use out of a product, I purchased a 1 year replacement plan so now I have to go through the hassle of ordering another. I have owned logitech products in the past and have not had an issue previously so this is a new thing for me as well.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend to buy the regular model and not the refurbished model. At this point of time I'd have rather pay the difference and have a working headset instead of the broken one that is currently sitting on my head as I try to correctly position the micro usb cable to attempt to charge the headset. I'm unsure of whether the issue lies within the battery of my headset or the actual connection between the headset and charging cable. I am positive the cable is working fine because I am able to charge other things with it and have tried using my brothers charging cable as well (he has an identical model).

1 out of 5 eggsOverall Terrible Product

Pros: I received these headphones in a timely manner, which was great. They sounded really good and bassy, the surround sound was amazing, they fit comfortably on my head; it was a dream come true.

Cons: Then, as soon as my warrenty was up, all the problems started flooding in. They wouldn't charge so well, they kept turning on an off; I'd leave them charging for 24 hours, and they would be at 15%. So I figured maybe there's a problem with the battery. So I ordered a new battery for around $20 + tax&shipping, and nope, same problem. So I decided to do some sniffing around, and many people online say they've had this same problem, and even the ones who bought theirs straight from Logitech couldn't get any help because customer service simply weren't willing to help solve the problem.

Other Thoughts: Simply do not buy these headphones; they are a complete waste of money.
