5 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: It sounds great, better than most other headsets I've tried.
The mic is also very clear, and the range is crazy, I can be anywhere in my house and still hear just fine.

Cons: The only problem with this is that it wasn't designed for PC. It works with the USB cable for the PC, but you have to change it manually in windows if you want to use it.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am very happy with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: Great quality. I'm no audiophile but these are not muddy or have no bass like other brand name gaming headsets. Soft cushy and spacious eat cups. Replacable internal battery. Has usb mic out, two analog white/red audio in, and a trs 3.5mm connection in. the headset itsself you can fold the mic up to turn it off or hit a button which is useful. Also has a 2.5mm in/out for xbox controllers. This thing can work on xbox, ps3, and pc.

Cons: You NEED to have the wireless station connected for it to do anything.

Other Thoughts: Really comfortable. the area around my ears gets tender after 5-8 hours of gaming, though that is just me

5 out of 5 eggsLogitech F540 Wireless Headset

Pros: GREAT for the money!
Great for multi-system use
Easy to switch inputs
Pretty good Wireless range

Cons: Not very loud
Microphone falls down out of up position easily

Other Thoughts: Anyone having trouble getting microphone to work with PC, just use the PS3 cable on a USB port in your PC and it should work fine.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent ergonomics, features, good sound

Pros: -feel, style, sturdiness (handle with care)
-very good sound quality
-multiple peripheral hook ups
-No supported by logitech but possible to use it with pc wirelessly using usb mini .

Cons: - no noise cancellation (compared to G930)
- no surround 7.1 (compared to g930)

Other Thoughts: - possibility to have it connected wirelessly to PC using the mini usb, while connected to a TV monitor wirelessly at the same time : cool thing about it is you can use those 2 rotating knobs on the headset for completely independent sound adjustment for TV and PC with mixed sound feature ( you can hear both PC and TV and adjust the level of the sound mixing !) loved it
- charging led behavior different from G930 with also cool audible sound warning either with mic or when charging (difference with g930 headset)
-no firmware upgrade possibility ( same thing with G930) and no software interface.

own g930 also and enjoy using both of them

Hope this helps

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggsI wouldnt buy if you want to use with your PC

Pros: Awesome Sound, Xbox and PS3 hook up

Cons: When using it with your PC it is not a fully supported device with drivers. It has a auto off function that does not work well with Vent or other chat software. Good for late night movies and consoles.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's Great

Pros: This is a great gaming headset. I've had a few headsets in my day and by FAR this is the best. it has clear sound quality, minimal to no buzzing. You can also hear the chat very well but it kind of sounds like it's off in the background, but it's an amazing headsets nontheless. I would definitely recommend this headset. Truly a great purchase.

Cons: When you try to talk or interact with other people and you're actually in a game it kind of sounds faint in order not to distract you from the immerse experience.

1 out of 5 eggsMisleading Item Placement

Pros: -Great Sound
-Noise Cancelling
-Great Price

Cons: This Item is placed in the computer hardware section but, THIS IS A PS3/360 CONSOLE HEADSET. With only the parts that come with this WILL NOT WORK WITH YOUR COMPUTER

4 out of 5 eggsGreat but not for PC

Pros: -Wireless
-Quality feel
-Namely a Console headset

Cons: -Wireless (Lots of interference, would shut off randomly, ect.)
-Normally quite a few really long wires from base station....
-Namely a Console headset
-2.1 "Surround" sound
-No support of any kind from Logitech (Doesn't work with their 'Logitech Gaming Software')
-Almost useless for PC; Without support from Logitech's software, you can't do much with it

Other Thoughts: This headset was really nice, had a nice feel.
It just wasn't for me, though; mainly because it didn't have true "surround sound" or PC support/ customization.
With that being said, in the time that I had it before I issued an RMA for it, they were really great but did randomly shut off every now and then. The range from the base station/ transmitter wasn't too bad, but walking through the house there were quite a few spots where it'd be on the verge of loosing signal.

I got the Logitech G35 headset after the RMA on this. Have to admit, the F540 has an incredibly nicer feel to it. That and when bringing the mic up/ down the beep isn't too loud and spot on. With the G35 the beep is extremely loud and might play again 2-3 times extra...

The F540 is perfect for anyone looking towards console gaming; Wouldn't advise main/ gaming use with PC. It was a little convenient to walk around with it on, but the interference bit kinda kills it.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't want to hurt review but it doesn't work

Pros: Looks awesome, I used my friends f540's and loved them. Convenient and no dealing with the darn cable always falling on my keyboard. I use xbox ps3 and PC/

Cons: Where to start? I didn't start because it didn't turn on. I think that either the power cable or the stand is defective. Also, when I opened up the case that was supposed to contain the charging cable, it was another ps3 mic connector. I found a cable of my own to use and was able to charge the headphones via the usb on my computer. I couldn't use it at all because of the stand being broken. I am disappointed by Newegg and Logitech, my keyboard and speakers are also Logitech and I wouldn't trade them for anything else. Cannot say the same for these headphones. I think it might because they are refurbished but who knows.

Other Thoughts: Don't take this review as a hesitation to purchase, this is one specific case
