2 out of 5 eggsPoor mechanical design of cable causes connectivity issues

Pros: Nice ergonomic feel, smooth movement. I never really use the speed adjustment buttons, but they are there.

Cons: The cable on this mouse is too thin. I had an older version of the mouse and its cable is about twice in diameter adding more mechanical strength to it. This mouse cable failed on me once already within a few months of ownership and returned it for a free replacement from Logitech. Now another 2 years later the cable is failing again. The wiring inside is wearing-out and the loose electrical connection causes the mouse button to "unclick" even while I am still pressing the button; it only happens when I move the mouse simultaneously. I don't feel like sending this in again for ANOTHER replacement (if they will even let me). I've never had this problem with any other mouse that I use in the same normal conditions, but this specific model failed twice. The older Logitech model with the thicker cable has outlasted 2 of these newer models by many years.

Other Thoughts: Before reducing the thickness of their cables (for cost savings?) in this new model, Logitech should have tested this device more thoroughly for mechanical wear and longevity.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: Sensitivity easy to adjust on the fly, Not flashy, Well-designed structure for hands, Durable, Responsive

Cons: not travel friendly?

Other Thoughts: I've had this mouse for 2.5 years - used heavily for gaming, working, and browsing and still holds up. Great buy.

2 out of 5 eggsFailed after a year

Pros: Worked well for a year

Cons: Started randomly double-clicking after a year, which according to Google is a common problem with this mouse. Contacted Logitech about RMA under their 3 year warranty, but Logitech was unresponsive.

2 out of 5 eggsNice precision, flawed cord.

Pros: Lightweight, works well on a variety of surfaces, on the fly dpi change.

Cons: Repeatedly disconnected after 9 months of use due to loosening cord where it enters the mouse.

Other Thoughts: Apparently lots of other people have had the disconnection issue, If you don't keep your mouse straight during normal use you'll risk it happening to you as well.

Logitech at least sent me a new copy and has a decently long warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent mouse

Pros: I have one of these at work and at home. These are great and I would buy another if needed without a second thought. I had an MX518 before and this is a very nice all-around upgrade. I prefer the subtle styling as well.

Cons: No cons

2 out of 5 eggsLogitech gone cheap...

Pros: Worked great for about 6 months.

Cons: After 6 months tracking erratically, left mouse button not registering click. Tried on several computers to verify it wasn't a bad USB port. Its the mouse. My guess is Logitech has outsourced their components to the lowest bidder, and we know which Asian country that most likely is.

Other Thoughts: Sad, Logitech used to make the best mice, bar none. Time to look for a new mouse and keyboard maker who hasn't cut one corner to many.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this mouse

Pros: Easy plug n play, Not to many buttons, easy to use and set up. Wish it had the design like the mx518. But the newer model overall isn't bad.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: Have had this for 2 years now and it still works like it is brand new. I would recommend this over any other mouse out there (even the 112+ button mice)

3 out of 5 eggsGood Mouse but Low Life Span

Pros: Bought it due to good reviews, worked well for a year.

Cons: Has a life span of a year. No more. I called in warranty for the first one and got a free replacement in 2013. It's 2014 and same issue again. (Mouse gets power but it no longer responds in x or y). (It is not a driver related issue)

Other Thoughts: I'm personally a fan of Logitech, but this mouse has given me a lot of issues. I currently have a wireless model coming soon. If that gives me issues as well, I might have to bail on Logitech...

4 out of 5 eggsHad it for 2 years...then had issues

Pros: Great for the time I have had it. Love the adjustable DPI settings that can be adjusted on the fly

Cons: I started to randomly lose power 2 year in. I confirmed it was the mouse and not my drivers/USB ports. Love the mouse otherwise, and have contacted Logitech to get a replacement. They are providing me the newer G400, since the G400 has been discontinued. Hopefully that will last longer then 2 years. I don't recall ever having a mouse having an issue like this after only 2 years.
