1 out of 5 eggsWorst Purchase I Have Made

Pros: They are light weight. Thats it

Cons: Absolutely everything else. They require a pairing utility that is not mentioned in the literature included with the product and only found after searching logitech forums. The sound quality is absolute garbage. constant crackling and clicking from speakers, low playback volume, mic quality isn't much better. After I installed the USB receiver in a USB port in my computer, the pairing utility for logitech, which must be done each time you unplug the receiver, will not recognize the headset in any usb port except the original one you plug it into. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK! I can only assume that the people giving this good reviews either work for logitech or have no clue about the current headset market. No where near where it should be for price.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE! Not worth anywhere near the money and their customer support is horrendous.

4 out of 5 eggsNice headset for casual use

Pros: I have owned a pair of these for a little over two years, and I can safely say that:

1- This Headset is very sturdy. I have packed them and repacked them, dropped them, crammed them into my pockets, and let my 7 year-old use them. Considering I have had some headsets die of factory defects in less than a year, I am extremely happy with the survivability of these things.

2- They have a pretty good wireless connection. Some headsets periodically restart, lose their connection, or have very short range. These headsets hold a connection consistently and allow for a good deal of freedom to walk around and do something else while still talking to teammates or listening to music.

3- Audio and mic quality are tolerable. You can do better for this price, but these work alright for general use.

4- They are very light and fit well. No complaints.

Cons: 1- While these hold their connection pretty well, and won't lose it once they get it, they do have a periodic habit of needing to be restarted or re-inserting the USB wireless port in order to make them connect when first turned on. This is fairly uncommon (maybe once a week, if that) in my experience, and not a big deal as this problem can be reliably fixed within 10 seconds, but it is something to keep in mind.

2- Mic and audio quality are not amazing for the price. You can probably do better or, ideally, cough up another 10-20$ and get something better entirely. While stability is a huge draw for this headset, if you are looking for an immersive experience and high-end audio, you won't find it here.

3- They make a weird clicking noise sometimes when listening to music, movies, and games. This isn't static, it's a mechanical issue in the right side of the set. This is amazingly annoying when it happens but, in my experience, rarely occurs and is difficult to reproduce.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality headset to keep with them while traveling or casually wandering around the house listening to music. They have proven to be well made and maintain a stable connection, which truly cannot be understated. On the other hand, the actual functionality of the set tends to be a bit underwhelming for the price; not horribly underwhelming, mind you, just not quite as good as it could be. This slightly lackluster quality is the only reason I would knock off one egg.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage. Can't believe it's Logitech.

Pros: Fairly light. Microphone has decent (not great) sound isolation in a noisy room.

Cons: Poor reception, easily disrupted signal with minimal blockage. Sound quality is absolutely horrible, my old $10 Plantronics headphone was worlds better. Really, the speakers are VERY poor quality. It says it should charge for 3 hours, but the 'charging' indicator didn't switch to green after almost 6 hours.
The best part: there is a rattle in the right earpiece whenever you move your head.

Other Thoughts: I'm an event technology director, sound is my thing. Take my advice, there are countless better options.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst gift my wife bought me

Pros: The wireless range is good. Not much beyond that

Cons: Not the most comfortable, fits on the ear not over, sometimes you have to turn the unit on and off multiple times for it to sync with USB receiver. At times you need to unplug the usb receiver for the sync to take place. Battery life is poor at best.

Other Thoughts: Customer service is horrible. I asked for a simple repair and they wanted a PID number that does not exist on the head phones. I took pictures of head phones showing no physical damage, no missing stickers, all other kind of numbers but no PID..after six weeks of trying to death with support I came to the conclusion that this is a waste of my time.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value

Pros: Easy set-up, reliable, good sound quality at a reasonable price

Cons: Seems to last about a year before encountering problems

Other Thoughts: I purchased this headset for both my girlfriend and I, and we've both used this headset for almost a year with no issues. I'm not an audiophile, but I'm quite satisfied with the sound quality I get, having used these headphones for everything from listening to random Youtube videos, to gaming, to editing promotional materials on Adobe Premiere. Range is reasonable, and I can move about my house with occasional interference from a few walls between myself and my computer. Coming up on one year of use however, the charging jack on the headset seems to be giving way, and at the moment I can't get it to charge without jiggling the charger cable into a certain position. I love this headset because it gave me exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price, but it seems like at the one year old mark the headset is finally starting to show a flaw. I don't mind repurchasing this headset every year given its price, but if they could somehow make the charging jack more sturdy, then I would boost my rating to 5 stars and hands-down recommend this wireless headset to everyone I know.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product!

Pros: Good product! Reasonably priced! Comfortable to wear for lengthy periods of time!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Bought this headset to replace an old headset that finally went bad. I've had no issues with it, and it has a pretty decent range on the wireless signal. Upside of it is that you can also hardwire it to a USB port while it charges up, or even use it that way instead of wireless. Been very happy with the product and it's reasonably priced!

1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy this item, defective straight out of the box

Pros: None. The microphone was defective and did not work at all.

Cons: The list goes on and on. The mic was defective straight out of the box, the headset itself was uncomfortable to wear for any amount of time, average sound quality for how expensive it is. I tried everything possible to get the mic to work but no matter what i did to tinker with my settings nothing worked

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this piece of trash

2 out of 5 eggsNot charging

Pros: Pros are limited to the features of the headset I won't list them here.

Cons: I am mad at myself for not trusting the reviews.. Please look ALL over the interwebz :P you will find people talking about how this headset just "stops charging" I own 3 other Logitech headsets and have NEVER had this issue. I think it ridiculous that they can charge so much for something so cheaply made. I am lucky to have purchased a extended warranty but that said I have only owned it 2 months.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this headset. Save your money go for something nicer.. maybe a g930 refurbished would be best... I have owned 3 of them and they are AMAZING.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for price

Pros: Small, lightweight, collapsible, simple to use, very comfortable, affordable (got mine for under $50 on another site).

Cons: Sound quality isn't great, set up doesn't always work as easily as "plug-n-play", battery life isn't great, do not stay on very well (slip off easily). Generally inconsistent.

Other Thoughts: I work at an IT HelpDesk and do a small amount of gaming. Had them for over a year now. Have installed them on multiple computers; sometimes they are recognized right away, other times have to restart.

They are super comfortable if you don't like the feeling of something on your head (sometimes I forget they're there) but b/c of that they tend to fall off pretty easily.

The battery life is as advertised: 6 hrs. Depending on how busy it is, I can sometimes make it through a whole shift w/o recharging, sometimes not.

Sound level is definitely lacking (had to go to playback devices and mess with settings/boost them a lot.) If you're on Win 7/8, turning on loudness equalization makes a HUGE difference. Recently they have started to crackle at certain times.

Overall for the price I paid I'm very satisfied. Like I said, the major downside is that they just feel "inconsistent" in terms of build and sound quality. I recommend for anyone looking for a decent pair of compact headphones for the $50 range. As someone mentioned, if you're willing to spend more towards $75 I'd probably just go with the G-series.

1 out of 5 eggsShort Life Span

Pros: I was very happy with it while it worked

Cons: Short life span 8 months-ish?. Always had to play a game with getting it to connect with the USB dongle. Insert/Reinsert USB or/and power on and off Headphone pwr till you get that beep that's it's connecting. Problem progressively got worse till it became useless.
