5 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse

Pros: has been my mouse for years now since mw3. Great mouse. I never got used to weights. I just got rid of them all. and its much lighter now Adjustable DPI on the fly is great. Wheels feels just right, fits perfectly. I mean you can't go wrong with logitech mouse!!

Cons: none

4 out of 5 eggsCheap Wonder

Pros: Excellent for people with a claw or fingertip grip. Laser is very sensitive the grips are easy to use. Drivers are very accessible everything feels solid. Much cheaper than the regular G9x, in exchange for a little branding.

Cons: Cord comes bunched up with tons of kinks in it, and those kinks never come out.

Other Thoughts: I prefer the wide load grip, personally, with all the weights out. On-the-fly DPI adjustment is handy, and 5700 is plenty. Any more, and it would be very hard to control

2 out of 5 eggsdoesn't last long

Pros: Smooth, ergonomic, accurate, customisable. I was very happy with this mouse until last week. The different shells and the large button make it a very nice fit in the hand.

Cons: Not durable. I got this mouse in September and it worked just fine until last week, when I suddenly found I had trouble clicking and dragging. Turns out it's a well known "double-click problem" and is a big reason why this mouse isn't being produced any more. For everyday use, the mouse is fine 90% of the time, but that's not good enough when gaming. Clicking when you don't intend to can lead to much frustration.

Other Thoughts: I'm investigating whether I should ship this mouse back (at some cost) to Logitech and get a replacment OR whether I'm better off just getting a cheapo mouse that lasts more than 6 months.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse, bad switches

Pros: Perfect fit for any style of grip, comes with various 'shells'. This is all-around the perfect mouse.

Cons: BAD SWITCHES! I've owned two G9x mice, the first was a regular G9x which lasted about 1.5 years before the switch for the left-mouse button went out and started registering single-clicks as multi-clicks. The second was this MW3 edition, which I only bought because it was super cheap at the time-- now, this mouse has had the switches fail in less than 1 year.

Other Thoughts: While I really love almost everything about the G9x, I cannot recommend them to anyone who doesn't like their mice going haywire in a relatively short period of time. The switch issue is well-known, and logitech has not resolved it.

5 out of 5 eggsI LOVED this mouse

Pros: Very Comfortable, lots of features, Love the tilt wheel, New software version is fantastic. It's short on length and never bothers me while resting on my elevated wrist mouse pad I have plenty of realestate to move it on the pad unlike most other mice of this caliber/quality.
I liked the separate X & Y dpi adjustments (neat for wide aspect screens).

Cons: Now for the bad stuff: It became intermittent (hesitations) located problem to bad shielding in cable, tried to purchase new cable but they don't sell them, So they sent me a new boxed replacement--IT DIDN"T WORK!!- so salvaged the cable and fixed it myself. (not easily).

Other Thoughts: Bought this on sale $49.99 What a deal!!.... lasted 7mos same hesitations now...Oh MY!! I'm not rough on these things, well I never slammed it on the table like I did the first one. I've reconciled my self to buying these every 6 mos. cause it fits like a glove.

4 out of 5 eggsI spray painted the lame logo now it's great

Pros: This mouse is very responsive and allows you to make all kinds of personal modifications possible when you download the software from logitech. It also is alot cheaper than the stock g9x but functionally identical (the software download is the same). I didn't like the logo on the back so I bought a $2 can of flat black spray paint masked off the side buttons and put on two coats . It looks like the logo never existed and the paint blended perfectly.

Cons: the logo but i fixed that

Other Thoughts: Why is every one so infatuated with Call of Duty? Perhaps they never heard of call of booty.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse bad cord

Pros: Very accurate has weights for a "custom" feel

Cons: I can only give this mouse 3 eggs because the wrapping that the cord or wire is surrounded with is braided clothe and after awhile it bunches up and causes kinks. i got this mouse for pretty decent price on sell so i can live with it, had i paid full price id be looking for a replacement or refund even. that said once i cut the "wrapping" off the cord is perfectly fine.
