5 out of 5 eggsAMAZING

Pros: I love this. It is just like that apple mouse. It responds so well to all your finger motions. There is a nice port in the mouse to keep the usb connector you put in the computer for safe keeping. Basically no set up and flawless connection each time. It works very well on any surface too.

Cons: The finish on the top scratches really easily but they are all small scratches so no big deal. Its not worth taking an egg away though.

Other Thoughts: A must buy!

3 out of 5 eggsNot Ready for Prime Time

Pros: Sleek design, long battery life, easy setup. I like the scrolling features, when they work.

Cons: The scrolling features don't work very well, and the mouse's low profile makes it difficult to use for hours at a time.

Sometimes the scrolling feature would only scroll a few lines, I'd swipe again, maybe a line or two, maybe nothing, swipe again, and suddenly I'm all the way at the bottom or on a different page. No rhyme or reason to it's scrolling. At other times the scrolling feature worked as advertised and was really neat. While viewing web pages, sometimes I'd just touch the mouse and suddenly I'm on a different page. This became really old really fast, especially when I'd lose text that I had entered.

The low profile doesn't fit my hand at all, and I have very small hands. It made using the mouse for extended periods of time almost painful. Any elderly person will find using this mouse difficult, especially if their hands shake at all.

In the end, I went back to my old mouse.

Other Thoughts: Maybe some day Logitech will work out the bugs in the scrolling feature. Until then, I'll stick with my old mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for casual use - not gaming/graphics

Pros: Really like the tracking & feel of this mouse. Works fine in XP as well as 7/8. Not a tech issue, with a habit of snacking at my desk, the smooth top makes it a Lot easier to clean & keep clean.

Cons: Because you press the whole mouse down vs. pressing a button, holding the mouse by its sides prevents the click from releasing. You also have to be careful with right clicks - if you touch the surface anywhere besides where the right button would be, it registers as a left click. Scrolling works up/down & right/left - no gestures - and up/down scrolling isn't consistent, wanting to barely work 1 time, scrolling an entire, long web page the next. It definitely takes getting used to.

Other Thoughts: Overall I like the M600 [otherwise I would have returned it], but it's not my only mouse -- I switch to the M600 to give my hand a break, a change in position. It's not really well-suited to dragging when working with graphics - you have to hold it loose so the click releases & it's hard to be precise that way. And while the tracking is fast, because of the way you have to hold it, a right or left click is more a 2nd operation rather than a single, fluid movement, so wouldn't recommend it for gaming at all.

4 out of 5 eggsNot a "touch" click

Pros: Very nice looking. Operates smoothly. Nice touch panel. Almost there.

Cons: This doesn't have a "touch" click, like a laptop's track pad does. The whole mouse pushes down and it clicks like an Apple mouse.

**No possible way to middle click**

Other Thoughts: I wanted this to have a silent click. Unfortunately it's button inside the mouse. I feel like sometimes when I click down I accidentally hold it down with my thumb and ring finger. It takes just a little bit of getting used to. I pre-ordered through the manufacturers website and received it on the 21st of Feb. Just wanted everybody else to know what I didn't due to the mis-information being disseminated on the website, i.e. "click... by touch".
The software doesn't allow for any options. Hopefully they will update the software to allow for some of the missing features.
