Pros: We have a fleet of these at work for web meetings. They work so well and are the right price to buy a few for around the house. Compared to the built in webcam on all our Macbooks, Dell laptops and HD TV's, this little thing outshines all of them.

Built-in mic is nice, has a reasonable range of extending to the far parts of the living room and kitchen (about 15ft away).

Small red circle when in use is a nice indicator that you're on camera. Don't get caught picking your nose when the red light is on.

Cons: None really for the price point.

Pros: Honestly I can't speak much to the pros as my primary computer runs Win7, although I'm sure it is a decent webcam when it works.

Cons: I originally got this cam for a WinXP machine, for which it worked fine but that machine went out of use shortly afterwards and so I transferred it to my personal machine. I've tried every workaround and trick I could find and I just cannot get this thing to work on my Win7 machine. I read that others have gotten it to work under Win7, but there are also many others who are in the same boat as me. If you are buying this and expect to use it on a Win7 machine - be ready to wrangle with drivers and workarounds.

Pros: I bought this webcam to use with Skype while my son was studying in Italy last summer. I chose the Logitech Pro 9000 after comparing it with other cheaper webcams and reading customer reviews. It far exceeded the picture quality of the built-in webcam in the Acer Netbook he took with him. I have since been using it whenever I Skype with family and friends.

Cons: The mounting clamp is the only thing that I feel could be improved upon.

Pros: Many members of my family now use this camera for Skype following my recommendations. I personally have purchased three for various projects. Excellent video quality, great auto-focus and depth of field, fantastic microphone sound and perfect face-tracking capabilities. I have found great deals on this Logitech camera model over the last year.

Cons: If in retail package with software, many of the applications are unnecessary, though some are cool to use. This offering has no software, but you may be able to download drivers and apps from the Logitech support site.

Other Thoughts: If you want a great Skype camera, this is it. Just remember, you will still need a good connection to get good video and audio quality.

Pros: Good picture quality and decent sound, when it works.

Cons: The sound would frequently distort to an incomprehensible, high-pitched, dolphin-like sqeaking. This would happen at random through multiple different applications and logitech was unable to solve the issue.

Pros: This camera is very good! I bought it for my parents who are living in Europe. Sound and picture quality are amazing. Autofocus works perfectly and setup is peace of cake. Just need to install drivers and it is ready to use. Did not find any problems at all and my parents using it for more then 2 years.

Cons: Not at all for me!

Other Thoughts: It has a nice price now, 2 years ago I paid for it 114$.
