With 20 buttons, the Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse is the most customizable and easy to use mouse specifically designed for mastering your favorite MMOs. Thanks to meticulously designed thumb panel, no misclicks will stand between you and your game.

  • newegg 20 MMO-tuned buttons Three primary buttons. Twelve thumb buttons. A clickable scroll wheel that tilts. DPI and profile switching. All pre-configured for optimal MMO use right out of the box – no drivers required.
  • newegg Misclicks – a thing of past Focus on burning down the boss without ever worrying about misclicks. The G600 thumb panel is meticulously designed for quick and easy no-look navigation. Two distinct sets of six buttons naturally guide your thumb to just the right spot. The three large primary buttons are each rated to 20 million clicks. Durability testing pounds keys three times per second, 24/7, for nearly three months so you’ll never have misclicks.
  • newegg Precise tracking and instant report The G600’s gaming-grade laser sensor will track the tiniest nudge or the fastest flick with equal precision. Input lag won’t be a problem. The G600’s USB report rate insures that all your click and movement information are reported instantly to the game. A thousand reports per second takes advantage of your PC’s maximum communication speed.
  • newegg Unlimited customizability Want to customize the default settings? Want access to more intricate macro and scripting capabilities than the onboard macros can provide? Download the optional Logitech Gaming Software and tweak your settings to perfection. The thumb panel’s RBG illumination is fully customizable with over 16 million possible combinations. Set colors to pulse on and off, or configure them to continuously change. You can also assign the G-Shift function to a button on the G600 to double the functionality of the other buttons on the mouse – giving you massive configuration power and flexibility. For precision targeting or sniping, assign a DPI Shift button to quickly change the DPI value. When you let go, you’re back to the standard value. Set up to five DPI levels per profile.
  • newegg Onboard brains The three memory profiles are stored onboard so you can access all your button, tracking, and lighting color information on any computer with no software required.
  • newegg Shaped to go the distance The G600 is sculpted to support your hand through hours of raiding, PVP, or just grinding XP. Every button is tuned to reduce click fatigue without accidental actuations. Ultra low-friction feet significantly reduce the amount of effort required to move the mouse, resulting in less fatigue in long game sessions. And the flexible, 6-1/2 foot long USB cable is cloth-wrapped for additional durability and a premium look. And it comes with a hook-and-loop cable strap to help you keep things tidy.

Pros: So smooth, woah.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using this thing is a dream. I cannot believe I used ordinary mice for so long before. I love the thumb buttons and the extra right click. The lights are neato.

Pros: Good for mmos, or anything else. Beats the tar out of razer products.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to this from a razer naga which has a similar design. And yes it was and still is a huge upgrade. Logitec all the way, will never buy razer again. Also the software that comes with the mouse is light years better than razers synapse junk.

1 out of 5 eggsFirmware Can't be Flashed...

Pros: Good mouse if you don't plan on gaming with it or care that the cursor jumps randomly on you.

Cons: The firmware can't be flashed and logitech doesn't have a fix.

Other Thoughts: I have a lot of logitech products and this really calls into question their quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse coming from G500 owner!

Pros: -Very accurate / tunable
-Side mouse buttons are easy to click, even the far back ones (7-12)
-Gshift button allows for many different setups

Cons: -Grip can take some getting used to. I previously owned a G500, and this mouse DOES feel a bit smaller at first. Once you get used to it though, it fits comfortably in my hands, even though they certainly aren't tiny.

Other Thoughts: I think the G-Shift key is one of the best parts about this mouse. I use it as a push to talk key and it works wonders! I can see many other uses for it, like a "toggle sensitivity" button, or maybe even a crouch button.

Additionally, I play a lot of League of Legends, and have found that using the 1-6 side buttons for my active items, while at first difficult, has since become a breeze and made playing much more fun!

3 out of 5 eggsRead for Win8 64 bit install

Pros: See below

Cons: See below

Other Thoughts: There is no install disk because they moved the software installation online, but the online installation still looks for a file on the non-existent disk.

Here is the rage: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Controllers/Logitech-Gaming-Software-freezes-on-install/td-p/914498

Here is the solution:
1. Shut down your computer.
2. Unplug your optical drive from the motherboard.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Install the driver.
5. Shut down the computer.
6. Plug the drive back into the motherboard.
7. Re-start the computer.

Done.

3 out of 5 eggsMouse 1/2 buttons suck!

Pros: - Lots of buttons
- Cool colors
- Logitech

Cons: - Mouse buttons 1/2 do not seem to click well
- Most of the buttons do not work for many games
- The button placement is weird for mouse buttons 1 and 2.

Other Thoughts: I have to use a bumper button instead inplace of my mouse button 2, because the form of the mouse is very odd...

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome deal

Pros: -Got it for $40 on sale!!!
-G-buttons are tilted slightly so you can actually tell which one you're touching. Adequate spacing too.
-Cool customizable lighting on the g-buttons
-Long braided cord
-Great logitech software
-Just an overall great mouse-feel...

Cons: Can't think of any. The 3rd shift-button is a little odd at first but you get used to it quickly.

Other Thoughts: I write small apps in auto-it to make my job easier and this is great because I can program 24 macros into this thing.

For $40, this is a screamin' deal. For 80, you may want to compare options. This deal happened on the right day at the right time so I grabbed it.

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome mouse...if you get one that was manufactued after October 2012

Pros: Great mouse everything you would hope for with a lot of buttons and customizable.

Cons: Huge issue with those that where manufactured before October 2012. There are mouse curser randomly jumping issues as well as double click and click detection issues with the firmware. Mouses after October 2012 have the ability to update...but before that are locked and thus you are stuck with a buggy mouse.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - An abundance of buttons
- The thumb buttons are a nice rubbery material, so you can rest your thumb against the keys without accidentally pressing them
- The thumb buttons are slanted to create two groups of 2X3 grids, so you can easily find your orientation without looking at the keys
- Backlit thumb buttons with configurable colors
- Highly customizable
- High DPI, very accurate

Cons: - Uncomfortable(relatively), too short (-1 star)
- No Linux support, you'll need windows to upgrade firmware and program onboard memory (-0.5 star)

Other Thoughts: I own the logitech G400/G500 and now this G600. The G600 is smaller than the other two: width-wise it's comparable, but length-wise the G600 is shorter, cutoff abrubtly at the tail end so you can't rest your wrist on the mouse. That makes it far less comfortable to use than the G500. I wish they'd just reused the G500 design and add the 12 thumb buttons.

All in all, I would only recommend this mouse if you are heavily into WoW-like MMO and Starcraft-like RTS. No other games/tasks needs the extra keys on the mouse, and even with MMO/RTS, it's probably only useful if you're playing competitively agains other humans. For all other tasks the G500(s) remains a far superior general purpose mouse for everyday use.
