5 out of 5 eggsTwo years of heavy use and it's still clicking!

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: - Ergonomic; tons of programmable buttons; braided cord reduces tangling

Cons: - At some point after ~3,000,000 clicks, it will inevitably die and I'll have to buy another one...

Other Thoughts: - Goes great with the Logitech G Series mouse pad

5 out of 5 eggsEpic

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: Using in game macros and key mapping, I'm able to play most of my games with a single hand. Being able to switch DPI sensitivity is great for games where I don't want the actions to be so delicate while other games I need the quick action with slight hand movement.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsDestroys the Naga

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: Before I owned this mouse, I had 2 - Razer Naga's and both died around the same time (about a year and 3 months.). I bought the G600 for $20 less than the price of the Naga and in the 4 years I have owned it I have not had a single problem. Worth every penny if you want a product that will last.

Cons: -Here is my only complaint, keep in mind I was having this issue back in 2012 when the mouse first released so it's totally possible its not an issue any longer due to a firmware upgrade. But, I gave up on the G-Shift button after about a month. I play WoW, lets use a hunter as an example. Say you are running and you have "Arcane Shot" bound to Shift+1 so you hit G-Shift and G9 (Shift+1 on my setup.) your character will STOP then fire "Arcane Shot" which in PvP (Player vs Player) is a no no for me because I need to be constantly moving.

This wasn't make or break for me because 1.) It's very easy to hit the shift key with your pinky. 2.) It's literally 2 clicks in the Logitech software to disable the G-Shift key so you don't accidently hit it.

5 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy This.

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: It is a somewhat large mouse, which to me is a pro.
The side buttons are large and tactile.

Cons: The laser sensor is horrible. It has jittery movement after two days of use on all surfaces. With all the updated software are such, it doesn't work well. I requested help from Logitech, of which I never got. I requested a return from NewEgg, but since I requested it "30 days after it was first SHIPPED out from NewEgg, they refused.

Bottom line, don't buy this.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat overall, but that liftoff though...

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: The mouse is very customizable with the Logitech Gaming Software, everything from what the buttons do to how the lights look. You can set up to 3 different profiles PER GAME if you set it up right, changed with the click of one of the middle buttons. Great for MMOs.

Cons: The only con with this so far is that there's no liftoff calibration. I replaced my glitchy Razer Naga with this, and that one could be calibrated so that the cursor stayed right where it was when you picked it up and put it back down. It takes some getting used to and isn't too bad, but still had to dock an egg.

4 out of 5 eggsA great mouse for the price, problem with liftoff

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: A very easy to use mouse out of the box, the Logitech Gaming software is fairly easy to install and auto-detects mouse immediately. Several options for on-board profiles that save directly to the mouse itself with easy customization options. Highly adjustable DPI to customize it to your sensitivity preferences. Easily adjustable RGB backlighting you can set to solid, pulse, or color-changing.

Cons: The only problem I can see with this mouse so far is the liftoff distance (the distance above the mousepad at which the mouse will stop detecting movement) is quite high. My Razer Naga, although glitchy in other ways, had a liftoff distance that was adjustable down to just a couple of millimeters, this one is closer to a quarter of an inch which makes for some getting used to.

Other Thoughts: I checked the Logitech support forum and they said the laser was "pre-optimized and the liftoff distance cannot be adjusted". Not a huge deal, but had to dock an egg for it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

This review is from: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse

Pros: * Lots of buttons: If it's buttons you want, you want a G600 -- hands down.
* Very sturdy: My Razer Mamba started showing signs of wear after only a month of use. This mouse still looks and feels brand new after a decent amount of use already.

Cons: * Can take a bit of getting used to: Quickly swiveling a character around to slay enemies - whether you're playing Borderlands or Minecraft, is sometimes a tad more difficult than it was with a 5-7 button mouse.
* Unable to assign all buttons to various functions outside of games: Not a terribly big deal, but it's still something I'd like to have the ability to do
* Not very friendly for people with small hands: My hands are small, and while every button *is* reachable, it sometimes requires me to stretch a little, and that can be uncomfortable at times.
* Perhaps by design, but many of the buttons are ultra-sensitive. Even with the double-click speed set to maximum in Windows, I still occasionally get accidental double clicks. It's quite annoying at times.

Other Thoughts: The ability to select between a few colors to cycle through should really be added to the software sometime. I love the colors cycling on the keypad, but would greatly prefer only a few in a rotation instead.
