4 out of 5 eggsM325

Pros: Small, convenient to carry for a laptop. Nano receiver.
Works fine.

Cons: Sorry, I don't care for the new style scroll wheel. It moves too freely for my taste.

Other Thoughts: The scroll wheel spins quite nicely, and if you're scrolling through very long documents it's an advantage. But I find the scroll wheel spins too easily.

I prefer a more positive "clicking" in my scroll wheel. I program the scroll-wheel button to turn on zooming to quickly re-size Web pages. With this mouse I have a little trouble getting the wheel to hold still when I press the middle button.

2 out of 5 eggsDeclining Quality

Pros: Logitech products are always dependable and generally always work, as this mouse does.

Cons: This mouse was to replace a V450 Nano Laser mouse which was a perfect mouse, but unfortunately lost. (Since the V450 is no longer manufactured, I took my best guess at a replacement.) The M325 feels cheap, it does not fit my hand well and the roller button cannot be programmed to a double click which is about the only function that makes sense for a coder.

Other Thoughts: I would pay TWICE the money as I paid for the M325 to get another V450 Nano Laser mouse. (LOGITECH: Did you hear that?) I know the manufacturer has been able to lower manufacturing costs in the M325, but they also sacrificed a lot of quality.

Is there a replacement suggestion for the V450 that maintains the same quality, capabilities and feel? I'd really appreciate a suggestion.

3 out of 5 eggsToo small

Pros: The mouse isn't bad per se. It is wireless, quickly set up and does its job well enough.

Cons: This mouse is too small, to the point of discomfort. Having the dimensions of the mouse available would have been helpful beforehand.

The clicks are very loud and the scroll wheel is terrible for clicking. This lost it a second egg.

Overall, I found the mouse unsuitable and ended up buying another at future shop. If you have small hands or like tiny mice this could be a decent mouse for you, however.

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately I am eating the cost of the mouse instead of going through the hassle of getting a refund and paying for it to be mailed back. There goes ~$38.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks For Me!

Pros: Great little RF optical mouse.
Wireless.
Long Battery life (so it says here).
Plug (wait for drivers to install) and play.
Comfortable.
3 year warranty.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use this mouse for my desktop, along with a Logitech K800 wireless illuminated keyboard while sitting on the couch when I'm being lazy. I'm using a Vizio 42" 3D HDTV as my monitor so seeing things from across the room is no sweat. This little (it is small) mouse fills the bill just perfectly. Setting it up on a Widows 7 Ultimate system is a no brainer! Just remove the plastic battery shim, turn the mouse on, plug the USB Unifying receiver into an available USB port, wait for the drivers to download and install, and your in business.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: So far so good. Easy functioning. The scroll wheel might be a bit too sensitive but s'all good.

Cons: It's a bit small to be considered ideal. Perfect if using on the go with a laptop tho. If the monitor is correct it's using more battery power than others said it would.

Other Thoughts: I've yet to notice any delay or anything.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Work, no drivers. Flawless operation on Ubuntu.

Cons: No real support for unifying reciever on Linux. There is an open source tool that touches a small portion of the unifying recievers capacity, but really there is too much knowledge required to implement real support for the receivers without at least a spec from logitech. Not even source code, we could do it with a specification, but Logitech is silent on this.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: We've ordered probably 20 of these. They work great for everyday use. Nothing special about them, just a basic wireless mouse that works great. And easy on the batteries from what I hear.

Cons: No cons yet. All are still in good working order.
