2 out of 5 eggsDon't bother

Pros: Comfortable for a relatively small/portable mouse. Satisfying scroll wheel (both stepped and smooth mode).

Cons: I've used three of these (two for work, one for home use), and all three have had the same problem: the wireless receiver looses its connection to the mouse, causing very choppy mousing, scrolling, and lost clicks. This makes the mouse unusable in general - buy this, experience the signal loss once, and you will forever live in fear that it will reoccur.

Other Thoughts: Logitech forums indicate that the problem can be caused by static charge buildup, and that removing the batteries and holding down all the mouse buttons for 20 seconds can fix this...temporarily. I tried this, as well as different USB ports, positioning of the mouse relative to the usb, etc. and the only thing that worked with relative consistency was placing the mouse no more than three inches away from the usb dongle (unbroken line of sight). Useless.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but has flaws

Pros: I had M515 before this one and really liked it use on any surface ability. But my M515 developed a double clicking problem (as well as continuing problem with batter cover coming loose) so i decided to "upgrade" to Anywhere MX.

Yes, it MX has better build quality, has two extra thumb buttons, and it does work on glass surfaces (unlike M515). However it is not a comfortable in hand and it is noticeably heavier.

Cons: But most annoying for me is the slight defect mine has with its wheel.

I like using the wheel in the no-friction mode (makes for a really fast scrolling). But the wheel on mine is slightly unbalanced. When i touch to stop it often it sill continue moving either up or down making the screen yo-yo for a few moments. It sometimes continues scrolling for a half a page until the wheel finds rest (as i said it's unbalanced so it wants to find that point of lowest gravity).

This behavior is so annoying that now i had to switch to clicking/friction mode for the wheel.

Other Thoughts: Speaking of clicking. Clicking noise is quite loud.

5 out of 5 eggsQuite the mouse

Pros: Works on glass, dark brown leather, my knee.... pretty much anywhere (hence the name). Battery lasts a long time and has survived many accidental drops. Very nice to have such a small USB receiver. The unifying receiver allows multiple Logitech devices to only utilize one USB port, which I can attest to working flawlessly.

Cons: Works great for gaming, but there are better options if you are sensitive to a few extra milliseconds like bluetooth and wired mice. For using it on the couch or in a hotel or in front of a customer, I love it.

Other Thoughts: After owning two I have not seen some of the issues that other owners are experiencing (double-click issue or power switch not being fully pressed) but I HAVE had a terrible lag issue that was more noticeable when web surfing or playing online games.
It turns out this mouse, as well as many other wireless devices, uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency as my router. By simply changing the channel of my router from 10 to 11, I completely fixed the problem. If you ever hear anyone complaining of 'lag' issues, it means they weren't able to figure this out.

3 out of 5 eggsCan't give it more stars - sadly

Pros: Works on any surface, fairly good range, comfortable in my hand

Cons: I have 4 of these anywhere mice, two of them have developed the dreaded DOUBLE CLICK. You go on youtube and there are "fixes" for this issue with Logitech mice all over the place - that is not a good sign. Sadly I have not seen or heard anything from Logitech about this issue... that is NOT a good sign either.

Other Thoughts: Now I am no the search to replace two mice that cost $50 each! Not so sure I want to go with Logitech anymore until I know they have the issue handled. It's difficult tossing a $50 mouse.. it makes me go OUCH to have to toss TWO $50 mice....

5 out of 5 eggsBest portable mouse I've ever owned

Pros: Its comfortable, just enough buttons at just the right places, the mouse does work on glass so when your at a glass coffee table or servicing a copy machine and are able to use the mouse on the scan glass its convenient. Its not a bad looking mouse either, and the carry case protects it well. I plan to purchase more.

Cons: I had to get accustomed to the unique scroll wheel option but that's why they make instructions - but that's it, I love it.

Other Thoughts: I have two more on order for my other laptops.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: Great mouse works well still in use no problems in general good scrolling great for gaming in general all in all love it.

Cons: only problem i have had with this mouse is from the use of a some what cloth mouse pad and it seems to dull out the movement to a annoying extent where it will skip when moving. more of a my problem but if helps a warning to others.

5 out of 5 eggsJust works

Pros: Fast scrolling, navigation buttons on the side, can store the usb plug in the mouse, works everywhere, some surfaces provide some difficulty, but not glass. Those are ones that tend to have a lot of friction and catch the mouse. Comfortable to use.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsBest Nano VX Replacement

Pros: Awesome tracking, good scroll wheel (with left and right scroll by pushing it to the side), right-handed thumb buttons, unifying receiver, portable and includes a travel pouch, and 1 or 2 batteries can be used to allow you to adjust the weight.

Cons: The Nano VX had a matte finish, while this one is glossy, which I believe will start wearing off at some point. Also, Logitechs seem to have a history of the left click button wearing out, causing accidental double-clicks and an inability to drag properly.

Other Thoughts: Had the Nano VX for a few years and loved it. Started having the left click issues mentioned above, so I looked around and bought an M510 to replace it (didn't need the portable size). I used it for a few hours and hated the jumpy tracking (even on a mouse pad). Bought the Anywhere MX and I'm happy again. Well worth the extra money, especially if you use it all day, every day. Wish I bought this in the first place.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: This little mouse is amazing. It works on everything including the glass patio table we have out back. Using it with an older macbook for my daughter. It fits her hands just fine.

The small little RF USB trasmitter, nub. Love the fact that it's tiny any doesn't protrude a long ways thus lending itself to getting snapped off.

Cons: If you have really large hands (like me), then you're probably going to be disappointed with just about every mouse in existence. I use an older MX1000 mouse as it fits my hand better. Consequently, I mostly avoid all "laptop" mice for this reason, but this isn't a knock on this logitech mouse. It works great.
