2 out of 5 eggsNice design, horrendous build quality

Pros: Small but not too small, comfortable weight, easy to carry around, good number of buttons, works well on all surfaces

Cons: - Will fail within a year, and if you get a replacement from Logitech that one will fail within another year
- Battery life lasts maybe a couple weeks at best
- The software Logitech provides causes more problems than anything else
- The replacement I got from Logitech needs a piece of paper inserted into the battery compartment to keep it from randomly switching off

Other Thoughts: Would be a decent mouse if it were able to last long enough to justify the price they're asking for it.

3 out of 5 eggsMicroswitch fails again!

Pros: The mouse is perfect for travel, easy to use and fits nicely in my hand. Has the two navigation buttons on the thumb side which is nice. The weight is nicely balanced and perfect for professional use. The weighted mouse wheel with free scrolling is huge for me since it allows me to zing through my code...

Cons: This is the third one of these mice that I've now owned. My current and most recent mouse was purchased 5/17/2015, today's date is 11/03/2015 and the left mouse button micro-switch has already started to fail (just like the first two Anywhere Mouse MX's that I owned). Only half a year's worth of use and it is already starting to register single clicks as double clicks.

Other Thoughts: The failure of the micro-switch seems to be a common problem for this mouse and since Logitech already allowed me to exchange my first mouse due to this failure I can only assume they are well aware of the issue. The second mouse (which was the replacement that I received) start having the same failure after about 1.5 years. I probably should have tried to exchange that one as well but decided to buy a new one instead.

I work as an automation engineer, I do a lot of programming, clicking, etc. Not an aggressive clicker mind you, just normal professional use. I still love the mouse and I will try to exchange this one as well. Hopefully I'll get it replaced with the new Anywhere MX 2... if not, I will most likely buy the MX 2 just because I like this mouse that much. I just wish the microswitches wouldn't fail so quickly.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: - It really does work well on pretty much any surface. (bed, rough wood, carpet, etc).
- The range seems great for me
- Easily unified with the keyboard and other much older non-unifying designed Logitech mouse
- thumb buttons are always a +, even if not using it for gaming... works well for media.
- Nice feel / comfortable, feels tough and well made.
- On / off slider thing is neat... protects the lens.
- Goes to standbye on it's own, saving battery. But it does have a 2s delay when starting it back up again.
- Nicely balanced in weight.

Cons: - I have really mixed feelings about the scroll wheel design. Push on it to release free wheel movement for quicker scrolling... but really, it isn't quicker since you can manually scroll just as quickly and have better control over it.
- Since the wheel doesn't have the standard center click, they decided to put it in a form of a button behind the wheel. That's right... that's not a mouse speed control, that's the center wheel button. And is it ever awkward to try to click it.
- Seems to be impossible to take apart without breaking it. So good luck cleaning it in a few years when it gets really dirty inside.

Other Thoughts: If they really wanted the scroll wheel design and have the center click separate as a button, then they should have centered both a little better so it would be less awkward to center click. The wheel doesn't need to be in the perfect spot because it's a wheel, it can be a bit further out towards the edge and still be able to easily use it. The center button was too far away and needs to be closer to the prime spot, or raised higher like a leaning tower button (which would probably look bad) but would make it that much easier to reach.
And I really don't know why they made it impossible to take the mouse apart without potentially breaking it.

4 out of 5 eggsMy favorite mouse, but...

Pros: As advertised, works on pretty anything. Perfect size and perfect weight (I don't like a mouse that's too light). I don't like a thousand buttons on mice either and this one keeps it simple with just a few. Also, I don't like specific right or left hand mice and this one not one of those.

Cons: As others have stated, this model has issues. The right and left click buttons will either start to double click or fail to work at all eventually. The first one I bought would either cycle power or momentarily lose connection with the receiver pretty much right after I bought it. It was only noticeable while playing a game or something that requires constant moving. It eventually started double clicking and then eventually the left click stopped working at all.

Other Thoughts: Even with the issues I still love this mouse. If I don't like how a mouse feels I'll be too annoyed to use it. This one feels like it was made for me and that means almost everything. I registered my second one and now it's double clicking too after 9 months of use. I do pound that left click tho when I'm playing a game. Likely I'll get a 3rd so I'm not without one if I can send this one in for repair/replacement. I would think that if you don't intend to use this as a gaming mouse then the double click problems might not be an issue

3 out of 5 eggsIt's a mouse

Pros: It's a nicely sized mouse. I have what I consider to be large hands and I don't feel cramped when using this mouse for extended periods of time. The scroll-wheel is also very nice. It's very portable.

Cons: I'm currently on my second one of these. It's been about a year I'd say, so, I can't complain. I am a tad aggressive and I consider myself to be a bit more than casual gamer, playing some fairly click-intensive games at times as well. Frequent gamers will eventually run this into the ground and experience left/right click problems.

I also find the mouse buttons are all oddly placed, they just seem like a hassle to press in comparison to other the other mice I've used.

Other Thoughts: The fact that I bought it twice does say it's a decent mouse.

4 out of 5 eggsI keep buying them.

Pros: These feel real nice, and have good tracking ability. For better or worse, I only use these mice. We have 4 in the house now. I use them with our notebook computers, and our desktops. The batteries last quite a while as long as you remember to turn it off when not in use, and I use rechargables.

Cons: There are two negatives. 1) The wifi connection is somewhat iffy, espectially if line of sight is blocked by the PC being below a desk. I've corrected this by running a USB cable to the top of the desk with the receiver at the end of the cable.
2) The second problem is that these keep on breaking. After about 2 years of use, these develop the double-click syndrome for me. I get a click when I push down and a second when I release. Logitech support is a pain, but they will replace the mouse. These are under a 3 year warranty, so I just print out the warranty and spend 30 minutes on the phone talking about the debugging I've done. I've gone through 4 mice so far, with another replacement under warranty in the mail to me. After the replacement dies (out of warranty) I just buy a new one.

Other Thoughts: I've never had a piece of equipment die so regularly on me, and it's always the same thing, so I guess they just wear out over time.

3 out of 5 eggsNot durable, but good enough

Pros: Pretty good mouse while it lasts. Love the ability to work on glass.

Cons: Gone through several of them -- the left-click button starts double-clicking when you single-click. The "fixes" you can see on YouTube don't work, or only work for a short while, then it's back to acting up.

Other Thoughts: Logitech support agreed to send a replacement this time, didn't hassle me about it, didn't make me send the bad one back first. (Call them on the phone -- the web support page didn't work.) I actually think I will keep buying them -- on balance, it's worth it even if it only lasts a year. This last one went bad in under 6 months, and it belongs to the Boss. She said "just get me another one" though, and she's the one paying the bills, so OK!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent on the move mouse solution

Pros: Good feel and weight, very easy to set up quickly, very good quality for a small mobile mouse. I needed a nicer mouse to use with my laptop, since my work requires me to move around a lot, and this mouse was perfect. Nice carrying case.

Cons: None I can think of

Other Thoughts: Maybe a little small for my hands but what do you expect from a mouse whose focus is mobility?
