The laser eye is enclosed, so you don't have to worry about dust/gunk getting in there and blocking it. Feels solid... not flimsy and light, but not excessively heavy. You can 'unlock' the wheel so it 'freewheel' scrolls...kinda neat. Spiffy graphics. Runs FOREVER on 2 AA's! Been using it every day for 6 months on the same pair and SetPoint says it still has >75% battery life!! Cons: Only had one issue, and that was getting SetPoint to recognize it. The Windows driver works perfectly with it, plug-n-play, but to use all the bells and whistles you need Logitech's software. I'm pretty sure it was an issue with SetPoint, not the mouse, so not a big issue. Just be sure to install the Logitech software BEFORE you plug in the receiver, and all should be well. Mikey N Texas 10/19/2012 8:54:16 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 5/5Best Mouse I've Owned Pros: Very smooth, easy install, nice fit for my big hand, hyper scroll or click to scroll, rubbery feel side grips Cons: None that I have found Other Thoughts: I bought the m515 because the mouse I had before was 4 yrs old and left clicker had started double clicking for some reason. I bought another mouse from newegg a month before this one, it was on sale and works fine, but it's not as high quality as the m515. I use the other mouse as my laptop mouse now. It's the little things that I like about the m515 that I really like compared to the other one. Biggest thing is the battery life. I was constantly having to turn the mouse off to save battery life, with the m515 it states at least a year before battery has to be changed. Smoother scrolling and much better feel (rubbery sides help with grip) makes all the difference. Lesson for me learned is spend a bit more up front and get a logitech!
