Logitech C525 USB 2.0 HD WebCam

Pros: 1. It was waaaaaaay cheaper than a new one :)
2. No scratches, dents, or any kind of cosmetic issues.
3. Performs just like a brand new web cam would.
4. Very good quality
5. Software is ez mode to navigate
6. 720p is all you really need. 1080p is nice but....meh. I see no point in using 1080p just yet.

Cons: 1. .............none really.

Other Thoughts: My webcam did not come with the software which is fine. You should just go to the manufactures website and download the latest drivers/software. CDs are a thing of the past and shouldn't be used with drivers usually.

The webcam did not come in a box. It came in a little plastic baggie which seemed "cheap" feeling but I am just weird like that, lol. The product was VERY well packaged by Newegg like always.

As usual the brand name of this webcam make amazing products so I had no worries when ordering it.

Pros: To me, I can't tell the difference. Seems like a brand new webcam just in bulk packaging.

This little webcam works wonderfully in low light, and that's just what I needed it for. I'm totally pleased with it. This webcam is a great value buying new, but it is an excellent value buying refurbished.

Cons: No documentation or software, but I wasn't expecting any seeing how this was a refurbished product.

The autofocus feature can take up to 10 seconds sometimes to figure out the right focal point, but it's a non-issue seeing how this is set up for video chat. It may work faster in brighter lighting but I can't confirm this.

Other Thoughts: I have only two dim bulbs lighting my room with no natural light, and even without monitor glow, I'm still visible, in 720p HD, and at 25 fps.

In most cases, a refurbished product can be even better quality than new. Since I'm sure this device was made from an autonomous assembly line, there's little, if any, quality control. But on a refurb, it's being inspected, repaired, and tested by an actual technician.

Pros: Wide-angle and auto-focus are neat features. USB cable is long enough

Cons: It's stand is not intuitive. I had to stare at it for a few minutes before I could figure out how to mount it on my monitor.

Pros: worked great out of the box, installed using disk drivers. great definition, seriously guys its a web cam. it doesnt need to be 1080. Recieved as a gift and for 30 dollars this this is amazing, great in low light.

Cons: doesnt perform quite so well in full sunlight

Pros: Got it for $35 amazing price for this product. 1080p recording, autofocus is fast and responsive.

Cons: While I know it's refurbished, came with a few light scratches and smug on the lens. Wish it would been in a little better condition, but for the price I got it for it's still well worth it.

Other Thoughts: The right light and right sound that they do does make the camera appear to "lag" now the camera doesn't really lag but what these are is basically an denoise filter for video and dehiss filter for audio, they are very harsh adjustments. So on the video side you'll see what looks like 15 to 20ish frames, a bit blurry. as well as audio that sounds a bit distorted. While the audio is probably more bearable turn off the right light and you'll notice your cam springs to live with a solid 30fps. I tested in a dimly lit room. While there was grain and noise in the image now that the right light was turned off, it surprising wasn't bad, I've seen a lot worse at this price point. Right light also made my face blow out (I have a really bight monitor compared to the room light) but turning it off actually made me look more normal. Take it or leave it, the lens and sensor is still good hardware for the price. it does have a little better color then the C525 I picked up for the same price, but the noise in them was about the same.
