4 out of 5 eggsIt's not bad, I like it

Pros: It can run off of only one battery, or two. Has a real click. Sensitive enough for a very light touch, which is good because you need it to use this. Scrolling with it is a dream. Can perform SOME Windows 8 (and even in 7) "gestures". Very accurate. Storage for Transciever next to batteries on inside. On/off switch. Good mouse feet. Intermediate size for laptop use but can double for desktop

Cons: One gesture doesn't seem to work for me (double clicking with 2 fingers on very middle of mouse). Mouse wants to slide under you when you do Windows 8 charms bar or change app gestures (done just like on a touchpad), but fortunately, if you use a very light touch, mouse won't slide under you and works fine. Simultaneous left and right gaming click won't work with current driver or at all (read about it) because there's a single click mechanism and they didn't design it for both finger senstivity in that one instance. Kinda small and too light for desktop use.

Other Thoughts: I find this mouse to be much better than all the "meh" comments, scrolling up and down with it is a pleasure.

2 out of 5 eggsAvoid!

Pros: It left clicks and right clicks....just not well.

Cons: I'm amazed how this can be the same cost as a Apple Magic Mouse yet this be far inferior. Every one of the special features fall far short. This Logitech mouse looks cheap when placed next to an Apple Magic Mouse.

Other Thoughts: Logitech is a great company but they have had some pretty poor products of late. Be cautious when purchasing any new Logitech products especially the Harmony line and this mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome with Windows 8

Pros: Makes many tasks in Windows much easier

Cons: Takes a bit of getting used to

Other Thoughts: I've only just received my mouse, but thus far, I dig it quite a bit. I'll update after a week or two.

1 out of 5 eggsGood idea, poor design

Pros: good idea

Cons: poor implementation

Since it is a surface device, you can't rest your fingers on it or it can't tell if you're clicking left or right.
I had to hold the mouse by the edges to move it, my click fingers hovering above it.
So it's very uncomfortable to use.

Often, when I right click the mouse does a left click even when my index finger isn't on the mouse (or slightly touches the mouse).
The only consistent way I could get a right click was to click the right side hard.

Sometimes, my fingers will barely touch the surface as I'm moving the mouse no matter how careful I am. This scrolls what I'm trying to work on.
I could disable the scroll but then what's the point of having the surface in the first place?

There are currently no sensitivity settings in the driver so no way to tweak it.

Even if some if the issues are because I got a defective mouse, it looks like a bad design to me.

After 2 days of trying to make this mouse work, I returned it.

3 out of 5 eggsT620 Touch Mouse

Pros: Most features work as advertised. The charms slide option is really nice in Windows 8, as well as the app switching and home screen commands.

Cons: The box indicates that it will work on virtually any surface. Well it doesn't work on my new glass desk. Also, the scroll option is kind of glitchy feeling on certain webpages and on others it works perfectly. It is not always smooth and fluid like on my Droid.

Other Thoughts: I got this for a decent price and I really want to like it but if it won't work on my glass desk it has to go back. If it put it on a mouse pad it works fine, but that is not what I want to do.

3 out of 5 eggsInaccurate

Pros: Gesture support works well under Windows 8. Lightweight. Easy bluetooth setup. Excellent accuracy for tracking pointer motion.

Cons: No buttons, so clicking means the whole mouse moves up and down. When coupled with very light weight, this produces "jiggling" when clicks are being performed. This makes it quite annoying to use, as almost every click shifts the pointer position slightly.

Other Thoughts: Apple's magic mouse has the "whole mouse click" as well, but it seems to not suffer from the "click jiggle" like this one does (probably because the magic mouse is heavier).

4 out of 5 eggsTake some getting used to

Pros: Does everything advertised and the shortcuts are nice in Windows 8, Specially the start screen, desktop, and charms gestures. They also allow you to customize the gestures a bit if you don't like the default ones.

Also if you scroll with a fast flick it works like free scroll on my G500 which is nice.

Cons: Take a bit to get used to and shortcuts can be a little touchy.

For instance, it only has one button to click and the touch surface senses which side it is on. For a primary click no problem but for a secondary click you have to raise your primary finger off. Not a huge deal but I'm used to resting both fingers on the mouse and it takes a bit to get used to.

The touch surface seems to work like a single touch laptop touchpad so if you rest both fingers on it, it will sense between them which can do some random things like bring up the Win8 charms depending on how you rest your fingers.

Other Thoughts: The switch application gesture doesn't work like alt+tab. It only switches between Win8 apps, the desktop itself is included in that. I didn't list this as a con cause its more of an issue with Win8 than the mouse.

I gave it a 4 out of 5 because I won't rate anything a 5 unless it's absolutely perfect and I didn't want to give it a 3 because the funky parts that I mentioned in the Cons are more the user getting used to it than issues with the mouse itself.

A mouse should be very intuitive and easy to use and with the quirks in Windows 8 I think Logitech did a pretty good job.

5 out of 5 eggsReally Nice

Pros: This mouse works really good in Windows 8. It makes it much easier to navigate. I would highly recommend this to someone not wanting to move to a touchscreen.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Not good for gaming... I didn't buy it thinking it was, just thought I would mention it.
