1 out of 5 eggsComplete Junk

Pros: None

Cons: DOA Item. No refund allowed on this item and I am not going through the labor of sending it for replacement.

Other Thoughts: Never buy a cheap refurbished item from this site. Others would provide return shipping and refund for defective item. Not so with this vendor Despite the fact that it is not working, I can't get back my $15. If I go to my credit card and dispute the item, The amount of wasted time and labor would be prohibitive

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Great feel and functionality, long battery life, can use 1 or 2 batteries to customize weight. USB receiver can be used for my handheld Logitech keyboard at the same time.

Cons: Wasn't exactly plug-and-play, but close. Just have to "pair" the mouse and USB receiver.

Other Thoughts: Best wireless mouse I've used.

Pros: nice mouse

Cons: It didn't work right.

Other Thoughts: Something is wrong with the wheel. The automatic RMA system would not let me return it, but it only took 1 phone call to get it taken care of. I love Newegg (and especially their shipping). I am glad that they stand behind the things that they sell. Good people work at Newegg.

1 out of 5 eggsOff Center Sensor!!? What the?!!

Pros: initially love everything about it, 9 programmable buttons, fit in hand nicely.

Cons: Until start using it, found hard to move pointer to where i want.
Adjust mouse sensitivity setting, use different mouse pad didn't help.
I have 6 monitors and I can't move it across in straight line.
Plug back in Rat 7 MMO on same pad to compare, i can move to where i want again. Flip around M705... Ah-ha.... the dumb sensor is off center

Other Thoughts: This mouse by far is the worst ever. I would like to think any junior engineer would understand how important for precision to place senor at center of the mouse; instead it's on the far right corner. It would be okay use on smaller monitor since the movement range is small. But it's hellish and outright frustrated when use on multiple monitors.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I expected

Pros: I received this product in perfect condition. It came in a generic Newegg box wrapped in clear plastic wrap protected by a thick layer of paper with my invoice at the bottom. For $15, I am so impressed at what I received for the price I paid.

I took it out of the plastic wrap and did a visual inspection to the body of the mouse. Everything was in good condition including the buttons and the hyper scroll wheel. Under the battery door, I found the Unifying Receiver tucked nicely in the slot.

This is the first refurbished peripheral I bought from Newegg. There were no scratches or oil residue, but to be safe I used 91% Isopropyl alcohol to completely wipe down the entire mouse and an airbrush to give it a dust clean. The surface may look clean, but I always wipe used products before using them because who knows what germs can be on there that has been passed down from the previous user.

After I cleaned and wiped it down, I plugged the Unifying receiver into my netbook, inserted two heavy AA batteries I had, fired up the mouse, and used the Unifying software to link up the mouse to the receiver. All went well after that. Left and right click works, left and right scrolling, side buttons, middle scroll button, all functions properly like they should. The hyper scroll function and tracking also works like it should.

Cons: I cannot find any major flaws about this particular M705 I received. But as for some of the previous reviewers, it really bothers me when they say the mouse and receiver doesn't work without mentioning any further details. Perhaps the mouse just needed to be reprogrammed to the receiver through the Unifying software. If so, this is a very VERY simple process and it is not even the right reason to give this product a bad review. Assuming that is the reason to why the mouse doesn't work, this is the fault of the user.

Other Thoughts: A few weeks ago, I purchased a new M705 for $39.99 for my main system. To be honest, I think this refurbished M705 is actually in better condition than the new one. They both work exactly the same and exactly how they should. From this experience, I am so impressed with my purchase that I am now more confident in buying more refurbished products.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: To start, I got the mouse for fifteen dollars on sale. This probably affects how I review it as a fifteen dollar mouse. The mouse is great. Supposidly great battery life. came mostly clean and one of the mouse pads to help it slide shifted but I am pretty sure it was the heat from shipping and all it needed was to be placed back into place.

Cons: No batteries, a tiny bit dirty. That is about it.

Other Thoughts: With the past reviews I have had been very worried on what I would get but I ended up getting a very slightly used mouse for about 30% of the price of a new one and for that I am content.

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate to previous review

Pros: Works great! Has a lot of features, haven't been able to get them all to work yet, might be from my lack of knowledge about this kind of mouse. Lacks software, but I knew that.

Cons: Didn't include any instructions about where to find the receiver, or how to install this mouse.

Other Thoughts: Would have been more helpful and even more advantageous to have included instructions on the installation of this product. They included a unified receiver that can be used with many Logitech products, but you have to run the unifiying software found on their site. Also, the receiver was found inside the battery compartment in a holder that you can see as you open the compartment to put the batteries in it. But, all in all, this is a very good mouse for the money.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None - If it worked I would be able to say

Cons: It cost me money to get something that doesn't work.

Other Thoughts: This is the first refurb that I have purchased that turned out to be a total dud. Don't know why Logitech would even put these out there if they haven't been checked. Seriously, it isn't that difficult to notice that the usb receiver doesn't work or the mouse.

1 out of 5 eggsVery old...

Pros: Somewhat cheaper than new, but not enough. I rated this "refurbished" as one egg. But I rate the M705 with 5 eggs.

Cons: The two units I received from my order were very dirty and very used. Both still had the "halo" of finger dirt on the left button, as if they'd been used for quite some time. That and no batteries, like you get with a new one.

Other Thoughts: Next time I'll order new. I only saved about $5 from new, but from the condition of the units I received it was a mistake. Normally I love refurbished equipment, and it's usually cleaned up quite nicely and includes all the normal "new" stuff with it. Not this time. Bad Newegg, Bad.

4 out of 5 eggsA very nice mouse.

Pros: It fits well in the hand, has a long battery life, although I have an issue with the batteries. The scroll lock function is wonderful.

Cons: The location of the forward and back button on the side are both a good and bad thing. Most of the time it isn't in the way, but on occasion I will pick up the mouse and hit the back button on accident, and that can really screw a person over. To the batteries; I've only found one company that makes batteries that actually work in this darned thing. I've only been able to get energizer batteries to keep connected in it.

Other Thoughts: Good mouse for the price, although I got it for free.
