3 out of 5 eggsdecent, but not great g400 replacement

Pros: -Same ergonomics as the g400, obviously

Cons: -Scroll wheel is rubber-ized rather than a hard-matte material
-More resistance to scrolling up/down due to the rubber cover/material's friction, which may not bother some, but I do keybind scroll for things in various games

Other Thoughts: My g400 was dying on me and completely disconnecting both the pointer and my K200 keyboard, so I picked this up as a replacement. After 3 years of having the g400, I wanted something that'd have the same fit, etc.

I like the 400s overall, but the scroll wheel's higher resistance is annoying, which isn't present in the g400. Otherwise it's a reskin of its predecessor (with a lower max dpi). Also I think I prefer the dpi-quickswitch buttons being to the side (like on the g500, I think? or another) rather than above/below the middle mouse button or scrollwheel.

Still a decent replacement, but I may have bought another mouse if I were more determined to get "the best" replacement rather than a quick one. My G400 lasted 3.5yrs, boo to that too.

Pros: nothing.

Cons: Mouse wouldn't work on a mouse pad with the sensor, buttons were raised

Other Thoughts: Avoid buying from this garbage seller.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect MX518 Replacement

Pros: Perfect replacement for my old MX518

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have had a few mice since my old Logitech MX518 stopped clicking and none could compare. I found this mouse in a store (sorry Newegg) and when I picked it up it felt exactly like the MX518. I'm a fingertip user and this is the best fit I have ever found. Love it.

3 out of 5 eggsIt has enough buttons.

Pros: -It has enough buttons
-Good size
-Well placed buttons
-Nice paint job
-Great for claw gripping

Cons: -Mouse click is very un pleasing
-Somewhat un pleasing ergonomics
-When I programmed one of the side buttons it didn't seem to save properly. It said it was programmed to "1" but it still is "L". I even let it load for a night but still works as the "L" button.

Other Thoughts: The Logitech gaming software is very user friendly and has a nice design.

5 out of 5 eggsAlways been a fan of this mouse

Pros: -Exactly the same form shape as my other mouse from literally 15 years ago.
-DPI changes on the fly
-The finish is just awesome, sweat isn't a thing with this
-Scroll wheel and buttons are clickable and you don't have to hit them too hard or too softly (if that makes any sense)

Cons: I don't like all of the space in between the design. Around the logo is a circular cut-out that just has debris in it now. A lot of area have the cut-out so crumbs or whatever will get in there.

Other Thoughts: I absolutely LOVE this form factor with Logitech. If anyone that works for them see this, please, PLEASE continue this shape mouse for newer models. I don't like to use anything other than this lol. If you like Logitech as a brand and trust them, you have nothing to lose with this gaming mouse.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Had a MX518 before and used it since its release date. I tried 2 Roccats, Corsair Vengence, Steel Series Sensei, and special ordered the Shogun Bros MK-1. But nothing felt the same and I always felt as if I needed something just a little better, as I play FPS all the time. This mouse was a perfect replacement.

Cons: The only con was maybe it is a little too smooth on the surface, but most of the time in the middle of a game I don't even notice.

Other Thoughts: Would recommend this mouse to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent Price. Though i got mine on a sale at another retailer. but still for what it is $40-50 is okay.
DPI "On the Fly" buttons. Change the DPI, up to 5 custom presets within LGS.(Logitech Gaming Software) in game or in desktop. IMO a really cool feature. From those DPI settings the CPI/DPI can range from 200 to 4000.
Good shape and weight. Not overly big or awkward to use.

Cons: Logitech gaming software is anything but light weight and can mismanage Memory and CPU time.
The Cord is very thin. Some may say that does not matter. I think the amount of power going through this tiny thin cord was overlooked.

Other Thoughts: Good if you can gt it on a sale. even if 10 or $15 off. I myself find Logitech to be overpriced on their mid range products.
