5 out of 5 eggsI like it =)

Pros: The adjustable DPI is awesome!
The grip feels really good.
I used to get last in almost every game of Titanfall, now I'm never lower than the top 3! =) It's a mixture of my gold plated gaming port on my motherboard and this awesome gaming mouse.
Super responsive!

Cons: For some odd reason, the place on the mouse where my thumb rests seems to get almost hot. I know the mouse isn't producing this heat. It's the type of material that's covering the mouse that seems to retain heat and really make my thumb toasty! It's kinda weird.. anyway it's not a big enough deal to remove a star. Still a great mouse!

4 out of 5 eggsone flaw from perfection

Pros: -Incredible Fidelity
-Comfortable even among other circumaural headsets
-Voice changer built in
-High quality mic

Cons: -takes somewhat long to turn on for some people, see other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Others have had similar problems crop up with this headset with it shutting off or cutting out suddenly, I now know this is because the headset uses a common wireless frequence that can be easily interrupted by other wireless devices like speakers, cell phones, mice etc.

So be careful purchasing if you have lots of wireless devices, turn off you cell or put it in another room, and just try to cull as many other wireless products you have so your headset doesn't cut out when you need it

5 out of 5 eggsA New Legend

Pros: Fantastic mouse. All that really needs to be said.

Great sensor, tracks everywhere, shell is a classic design that has held up to the test of time. Buttons hold up to wear and tear, build quality is good (much better than the original g400 and anything razer puts out for mice) but not quite as rock solid as the mythical beast.. the one, the only, the mx518

Cons: Slightly slippery shell when brand new out of the box. Give it a week or two to break in (depending on how heavy the use is..all day gamers will notice in a couple days that the slipperiness is gone) and you'll be glad you bought it.

Other Thoughts: A new legend is made. The g400s is the great-great-great grandmouse of the mx518, and it's a chip off the old block in every sense of the phrase.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat successor to legendary MX518

Pros: The ergonomics are identical to the MX518 and G400. In fact I think the shells can even be swapped. The scroll wheel is the same or improved, not sure. The best improvement is the new plastic. It just feels nicer on my skin and is supposedly hydrophobic. The mouse movement feels just right - very smooth and accurate. And I'm not sure, but I think the G400s might be lighter, which is absolutely a good thing for gaming.

Cons: While the scroll wheel does feel okay, it is cheap. I wish Logitech had redesigned it to make it flat and textured like the G700's. It's pretty bad that 3 versions of this mouse all have the same cheap scroll wheel.

Other Thoughts: Best gaming mouse I've ever used. If you loved the MX518, you'll love this one too.

5 out of 5 eggsMX518 successor

Pros: MX518 successor
Does feel a bit more responsive
Seems to be slightly lighter
The ability to change DPI on fly is actually pretty useful

Cons: Other than ability to change DPI on fly, doesn't seem to be a lot of innovation, if any. But then again, I was only looking for a newer version of MX518 and this fits the bill.

As far as gaming mouses go, this is really quite plain but it gets the job done for me.

5 out of 5 eggsLove: It's what makes a G400 a G400

Pros: Great sensor
Great form factor for fat hands
Useful drivers
Easy to configure/use
Beautiful

Cons: Cord tends to die if you're violent with the mouse
Mouse buttons lose click-i-ness after about 600-700 hours of hardcore Counter-Strike + Quake
Fat mouse, and therefore is heavier than basically everything else

Other Thoughts: I love the G400s. After my beloved G400 lost its connectivity (R.I.P), I went out to buy another mouse. I heard from a tech website that the G400 was beginning to be phased out by Logitech. Saddened, I began a quest to find a new perfect mouse. I had tried the Razer Deathadder 2013 as a replacement, but it just felt wrong for my grip. I tried out a Zowie F K, but my fat hands didn't fit on it properly. I had almost lost hope. Suddenly, a light shone through my monitor. Newegg revealed that the G400 had been replaced by the G400s. I purchased one in a heartbeat. I've been using it ever since.

In my cons section, I noted the issue of the connectivity of the cable. This has been a problem for some people, but is easily avoided if one simply follows these steps:
1 - Don't launch it across the room in a fit of violent rage
2 - Pull slack up from behind your desk and tape the cable such that the connection of the cable to the mouse itself never experiences any tension or pull
3 - Avoid pulling BACK on the mouse as much as possible (read: don't flick downward ingame if you haven't gotten enough slack)

I've made sure to follow these rules and my G400s has been in good health for the past 3 seasons.

TL;DR: get one. Now.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good feel, well-placed grip intents and buttons, decent size. For someone like me that has large hands, it fits well into my grip, plus, it's well-contoured so it would probably work for someone with smaller hands too. The color scheme is as expected for "gaming" hardware, with subdued colors and matte black dominating, giving it an attractive look.

Cons: It's all hard plastic, with no rubberized surfaces to enhance grip. Also, this mouse replaced a failing MX518 and, while it does the job and superficially resembles that old, amazing piece of equipment, it just doesn't feel as solid. I hope this lasts as long as the old mouse did, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing mouse, no regrets

Pros: I LOVE this mouse! It has amazing comfort, and I love their gaming app. It took just seconds to reprogram one of the buttons, and I setup my DPI so that I could go from 2000 to 200 in one click of a button for sniper shots. Then, with one click of a button, I can go back to my normal setting. I can set up to 5 different DPI settings for different games or situations. A very nifty feature. Once you start to use this and or the back and forward buttons, you'll never go back to a mouse that doesn't have these features. With a DPI of up to 4000, it'll take me a while to get used to those speeds, if I ever do. I cannot stress the comfort and precision that comes with this mouse enough. With it's 1ms response time, it's great for gaming, as every millisecond counts. It also has a low start time, so it'll start tracking your movements before other mice will. Best rodent I've ever owned.

Cons: It took a bit of getting used to, as they want your ring finger to sit kind of halfway on the mouse and halfway off. After maybe 5 hours or so of gaming and a little bit of time browsing the web, I'm really happy with where the fingers sit now. Most people don't like the fact that it forces you to have a certain grip, as it will annoy either their pinkie or ring finger, but I'm glad that they force you to use it, as I think it's helped me a lot. I was considering getting the Razer Deathadder 2013, and at first I regretted getting this mouse, but after some good usage time I love this rodent.

Other Thoughts: If you're comparing this to the Deathadder, get this. you won't be dissapointed. It's ergonomics are amazing in my opinion, and the sensor on this mouse is actually slightly better than the Deathadder.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works great, but only when it wants to work.

Cons: The first time I purchased this mouse, I had to have it RMA'd because the mouse had obviously been used by someone else before I had even pulled it out of the box. The left mouse button was broken.

Upon receiving my replacement G400s, it worked satisfactorily for a few months.

Today, the right mouse button has started to fail. Considering that this mouse is good for "20 million clicks" and that I rarely use my right mouse button, this shouldn't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: I don't intend to replace this mouse with another G400s and I will be unlikely to purchase another product from Logitech due to their awful customer support, heinous requirements and bad product quality.

I'd advise anyone who wants a mouse to last to avoid this one.
