4 out of 5 eggsnice mid range headset.

Pros: fairly comfortable. good clean sound. Recording sounds good. price range is acceptable, for mid level headphones. Not studio quality or anything. But definitely fine for everyday gaming. Talking over skype, TS, Vent, etc.

After having a usb headset, this is a welcome change back. USB headset always start to have trouble..sometimes not reconizing, etc. but these are good ol fashioned jacks, and never have any issues.

Nice braided cable, seems sturdy.

Cons: The "removable" ear muffs are nice, for easy cleaning. However, to get them off the 1st time, can be tricky, and I pulled the wrong part, and cracked my ear muzz slightly.
Not really Logitechs faultt. But, just be carefull if you try to pull them off.

Also the sound was a bit low for me, but, that has nothing to do with the headphones. you may want to adjust the sound card settings on your MOBO, or even better, if you can afford it, just get a separate sound card.

Other Thoughts: Been using a couple months now. ANd I travel with them as well, on 3 hour bus, twice a week. And they seem to hold up well.

2 out of 5 eggsNot really worth it

Pros: Reasonable Price for reasonable usage. Somewhat comfortable

Cons: The microphone had issues from day one. Now it is day 28 and there is always constant static while it is turned on. Making online voice communications near impossible without making the other participants and your own ears bleed.

Other Thoughts: Will not be repurchasing from logitech anytime soon.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat product, terrible customer support

Pros: The product sounds great and the mic works very well. It's comfortable to use for hours and I've generally had no complaints with it.

Cons: Mine died in about 2 months. This may be my own, and your mileage may vary. But I expected sometime like this to last longer.

Other Thoughts: I have been trying for over two weeks to get support from Logitech regarding this. I have attempted to call Logitech, and have gotten nowhere, being transferred to silence one time, and hung up on another. This is highly unacceptable.

3 out of 5 eggsStandard Headset

Pros: Cheap Price
Good quality sound (not surround sound but it's not advertised as surround so that doesn't affect the rating)
Sturdy construction
Good quality microphone

Cons: Hurts my head after about 30-45 minutes of use
Wish it was surround sound but that's not affecting my rating
No built in microphone monitoring

Other Thoughts: Over all it's not a bad headset, but I would rate it at; Buy it on sale. 3/5

4 out of 5 eggsGreat if your on a Budget

Pros: Looks great - Sound quality is better than expected for the price - Adjustable Mic has good clarity and sensitivity overall - plug & play no drivers - Long tough braided cord also very flexible - Ear cups are fairly large so they easily fit over most ears - Ear pads can be removed and washed in hot soapy water for excellent cleaning - light weight - Good adjustment for large and small heads - Fair build quality but good for the price.

Cons: The padding on the headband is narrow and quite firm. This cuts off blood circulation across my head and feels weird after 30 min or so. This is not a huge deal cause most of the time I just wear them around my neck for the mic.

The fabric used on the head band and ear cups is pretty much the same fabric they use to line the inside of some athletic shoes. It can be itchy and scratchy if you wear these around your neck and have facial hair.

Other Thoughts: Overall still a great budget headset.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor sound quality

Pros: Cheaper than the good ones

Cons: Sound is low quality compared to any decent headset out there. Mic did not work from day one. I thought it was sound card but still bad. Appears to be a poorly soldered wire in the connector. And good luck dealing with Logitech customer service.

Other Thoughts: Spend $20 more and get something that sounds awesome like the Plantronics Rig which has the best sound I have heard and is very comfortable.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: I just installed ASUS Soundcard SONAR DGX and this headset really works well with it. Tried with my razer headset and this headset is better in Mic, but for sound i can't tell much different, both produce no noise at high volume

Cons: I figured that bass isnt good on this headset, maybe this headset is intended for gaming not music headset with bass booster.

3 out of 5 eggsSounds great, looks great, hurts after a few minutes

Pros: Sound awesome, great build quality. look great.

Cons: Hurt my head after a few minutes, little skinny pad in the middle is not enough for me. Adding more padding to the middle could fix this.

Pros: It worked.

Cons: It broke after a while.. I took great care of the headset as well. First the mic broke, then an entire ear came off. I'm disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great sound!

Good amount of bass.

Mic is decent and the size adjustment is top notch.

Ear cups are nice and they block out sound. ( I don't like not hearing my surroundings though :( )

Cables are good.

Very aesthetically pleasing!

Cons: None so far!

Other Thoughts: This was my first somewhat expensive set of headphones I have ever owned, and I must say it was worth it. Sounds are much better, and I feel a lot more immersed in my games and music!
