5 out of 5 eggswow..

Pros: These are very good for their price, i have had 2 pairs of turtle beaches x12s and they use to have what i would call stunning bass but these by far pass it for a headphone that doesnt need power, and have fairly good sound overall. Very confy :)

Cons: The mic DOES sound do-able but could be better for the price.

Other Thoughts: The mic isnt that bad i would recommend these!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Headset

Pros: - good build quality
- nice looking
- comfortable
- surprisingly light weight
- microphone is acceptable for voip use
- cable is super long

Cons: - braided cable may get chewed by a pet. it looks and feels like a round boot lace. it will probably last longer than a regular cable otherwise.

Other Thoughts: I saw these go on sale and figured why not. I think I made a good call.

Its been a while since I had computer headphones that could drive really low bass without rattling or crackling, but not be overpowering at the same time. The sound quality is very good and crisp, but not sharp either. the highs and lows are well balanced for music and gaming.

I can't say how long these will last, but for sub $100 dollar headphones these sound great, without all the extra bells and whistles that make the higher end Logitech Gaming headsets cost more, and without the wallet destroying "audiophile approved" sticker that some brands have.

4 out of 5 eggsGood headset.

Pros: Good Mic quality
considerable audio quality
Earcups are large and good for any ear shape
Microphone has a large work envelope (it can bend a lot)

Cons: Broke in the first 3 months I owned it.

Other Thoughts: I got this headset for my birthday at a nearby tech-store in mid-November and was excited. I even unboxed it in the car. When I got home, I used it and the quality was terrible but - do not worry, this might happen once you get it, just wait a bit.

So I used it for a few months and after a few weeks noticed the mic-side of the headset was cracked, not the ear but the extender part that says G-230. It eventually completely fell off and the wire fell out. I don't know if other people have this problem but, it makes the headset unbearable to wear. This is personally the one reason I can only give it a 4/5.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat headset

Pros: Comfortable, great sound quality, clear voice transmission, plenty of cord length for my needs.

Cons: Did not survive my my 4 month of St. Bernard puppy. He tore off the ear cuff, and gnawed though the cable just under the ear piece.

Other Thoughts: Worth a look at, suited my gaming, video watching and Skype related needs.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Support

Pros: This headset was comfortable and had good voice quality, and overall I felt was a good value.

Cons: After a few months the microphone quit working. Since it was still well within the one year warranty I contacted Logitech to see about getting the headset repaired or replaced. The representative said that he could not help me without seeing a receipt first. I had purchased the headset online 3-4 months ago so I did not have the receipt. I contacted Newegg and had a representative send me the PDF of the order invoice that Newegg themselves used to process the order. It included the order date, my personal and payment information, and anything else that a rational person would need to see that I did in fact purchase this headset. However, the Logitech rep said that without the original receipt he could do absolutely nothing. So unless you feel strongly that your individual headset will be completely defect free, or you routinely keep receipts for years at a time, I'd go with a different brand.

1 out of 5 eggsawesome to terrible 6 months

Pros: Great Surround Sound. Fairly good UI on computer. Easy to make profiles and adjustments.

Cons: easy to lose packets, interference from other signals easily interrupts signal. WI-FI only broadcast so susceptible to interference. Started having power on issues where powered off often. Then would not power on until several ten or more attempts to turn on headset. then the sound started being distorted randomly. had to cycle power to get static and unwanted sounds to stop. then that became increasingly often. have to stop game or change headset. I would not recommend this headset if it was half price. unreliable and is hard to get in touch with customer support. email support gives you more than enough help tips. but return process is only easy if you have a printer. :)

Other Thoughts: Buy a different headset

3 out of 5 eggsGood price for ok quality

Pros: A good headset while it lasted, the noise was eliminated very well, no problems with the speakers, and it was (eventually) comfortable to wear, and I never had any problems with the microphone.

Cons: It may have been a problem on my end, but my pair broke after 3 months of heavy use. after the first week, a crack appeared just above where the ear "cups" rotate, and it continued to widen until it broke. Also, the sound quality is a bit lacking in my opinion, mostly in the bass, and it can be extremely uncomfortable to wear at first.

Other Thoughts: This headset is a great place to start for gaming, no one complains about the quality of your microphone, and you can hear everything you need to and most of the time nothing you don't want to.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I don't want to give this a 4 star because it's actually great for its price.

Good quality on the audio (input).

Cons: Eh, the mic is average.

Other Thoughts: For its price, it's fine.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for

Pros: Good Sound
Good Bass
Nice, long cord
Microphone works well
Fairly Comfortable

Cons: Mute button doesn't work
Audio from headphones picked up by microphone, even on low volume
Uncomfortable at times, have to reposition

Other Thoughts: The uncomfortable is a little trivial, but I get ridiculously annoyed that whenever I skype with somebody, they can hear the low volume music I'm listening to.
