1 out of 5 eggsBroke

Pros: Over the ear really isolates sound coming from the real world. Covers the ear completely. Comfortable.

Cons: Broke after less than 6 months as has been said before they plastic above the ear cups crack and fall off. This is what holds the speaker onto the headband, and once these break the ear cup will just fall right off. I looked inside and there's just a square peg inside holding the whole thing in place.

The mic mute switch on the little USB dongle fell out. Had to use a pocket knife to unmute the mic

Tried to take the cloth off the ear cups to wash, the bracket stayed in place, ripping the plastic all around the ear cup. Currently in the trash awaiting disposal.

Other Thoughts: Didn't order this from newegg, bought at a retail store. Just thought I'd let others know this is a plastic brick and not worth your money.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat sound, but of cheap make.

Pros: Great audio quality
Great software for sound management

Cons: Weak construction
Headset is rather thin, wide-headed people beware.

Other Thoughts: I have a wide head, so this headset is terrible for me. The earmuffs broke outward multiple times at their attachment to the headband. I had to glue them back together every time, but I can't this time so I'm giving up on them. If you have a wide head, or think you do, avoid this headset. It's a great price and great quality, but it's not going to last long if your head doesn't work with it. They'll just break, like mine did.

2 out of 5 eggsMic is terrible

Pros: It's comfortable and has a good incoming audio. Software is robust enough to balance the levels to get the right sound.

Cons: The mic levels are absolutely terrible and it apparently is a real problem with a lot of users who have this. This arguably the most important thing ton the headset and it's absolutely terrible. I am thinking of returning this or RMA'ing this set back to Logitech. I can't help but feel like there is something wrong with it. For a company that is known for quality the Mic on this thing is the biggest disappointment I've had in years, especially after replacing a really good wireless logitech headset that broke after almost 4 years

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Sound!

Pros: The Color Was The Main Selling Point For Me
The Virtual Surround Is Awesome
The Audio Itself Is Great

Cons: The Build Quality Isn't So Good....Cheap plastic

Other Thoughts: I take care of my items but my younger brother doesn't. He's the reason I gave them a 4/5 star. I'm now in search of a new pair of headphones. I would buy another pair if the hinges were aluminum vs plastic.

2 out of 5 eggsGood Sound, Not So Good Product

Pros: - Well this headset was really good when it comes to sound. It would display sound loud and clear and the mic was easy to use.
- The Headset itself has a unique design and the cost of the headset was really good.

Cons: - First of all, the headset was made out of very cheap plastic. If you are looking for a headset that will last a long time, this is not the one you should be looking for.
- Second, the Logitech Driver Software was really annoying. The headset wouldn't cooperate with the Drivers.
- Third, the headset sound adjuster and mic controller on the cord was very annoying. If you would accidentally get the very long cord stuck in the wheels of your chair and pull, it would easily short out your headset.
- Fourth, my headset keeps on cutting out, disconnecting and the reconnecting causing me to restart my game. This would happen very often.
- Fifth, if you are using the headset in game and listening to music or talking to someone in Skype or Teamspeak, you would hear a crackling noise, almost like someone is rubbing sand paper in your mic. I don't know if this is because it shorted out or because it is just cheap.

Other Thoughts: - Don't get this headset if you are looking for one that could last a while. This headset broke on the first 6 months of use. Although the price is really cheap, buying a headset of higher quality is worth your time and money.

1 out of 5 eggsDid not last

Pros: The sound of the head phones is pretty good. Its comfortable and adjustable. The mute switch and volume control on it are a nice feature.

Cons: The mic does not work well at all. Your voice constantly cuts out or fades to a hush. I have a big head so I have it adjusted pretty big. Where the one ear piece attaches to it, is cracking and breaking. For the record I have never dropped them it just cracked with the small amount of stress put on them. Over all I would not recommend this to anyone that is looking for a head set that will last. This one is almost toast in less than a year.

5 out of 5 eggsComfy and Awesome

Pros: I am very difficult with the choices of my headhones/headset, but these one are awesome ! The 7.1 sound is ridiculously great and they are really comfy. If you are looking for a great headset, take these one ! They are great !

Cons: Maybe 80$ is a little bit high.

3 out of 5 eggsThe good, the bad, and the ugly (2+ year review)

Pros: -Reasonably priced
-Surround sound reasonably priced
-Decent overall quality of sound
-Comfortable. I also prefer the cloth ear cups as they breathe more than leather or leather-like materials.

Cons: -Fake leather piping around the ears made of cheap material that disintegrates over time
-Mic boom eventually broke. Where the mic boom material transitions from plastic to rubber near the left ear cup is structurally weak.

Other Thoughts: I've been a fan of Logitech for many years, but I must say that recently they seem to be having more quality issues. I've owned this particular headset for just over two years and it's on its last leg. Disappointing as I liked it but I'll think twice (do more research) before I but another Logitech product.

3 out of 5 eggsThere are Better

Pros: Inexpensive

Cons: Mic is not very clear
Sound has background hiss at anything but low volumes.

Other Thoughts: Sorry to say this Logitech Headset is mediocre. The mic is not very clear and the background hiss is pretty unacceptable. I tried the Kingston HyperX Cloud II at about $100 using the same computer and USB ports. The HyperX were clean and clear of distractions. The extra money for the HyperX Cloud II is money well spent.
