4 out of 5 eggsTHEY LIE!

Pros: I bought this mouse as a replacement for my Razer Ouroboros (After 2 years it was dirty, to lazy to clean.) the wireless aspect is great no problems with that and I still wanted all the buttons that my old one had. The 250-1440 hours of Battery life was quite intriguing, however after well over a month has gone by and I am still not missing a single bar of battery life. i was looking forward to blowing though AA batterys.

Cons: THE SOFTWARE IS APPALLING, there is no inputs for extra mouse keys you have to use keyboard inputs, it kept switching DPIs during Dota matches it's inefficient. I only use it when I need to. I don't know if I was spoiled with Razer's software or if this is just bad but, it's bad.

Other Thoughts: The buttons on the side are a minor inconvenience at times because of how far back they go.

4 out of 5 eggsexcellent no-kitsch wireless gaming mouse

Pros: build quality
tactile surfaces
battery life
no silly lights

Cons: more options are always better.

Other Thoughts: a back up wired capability would net it a full 5 eggs in my purely personal opinion. I'd call it the best mouse of all time if it had a rechargeable, removable battery pack. there's always compromises, however, and this is a very well executed mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsBrilliant Wireless Mouse

Pros: -Optical
-Battery life is incredible in either polling mode
-Runs on one battery for a weight adjustment option
-Grip versatility
-Software is easy to use
-Nice feel
-Side Buttons and DPI buttons positioning
-Nice profile and looks great
-Tracks well
-Couldn't be easier to set up - plug and use

Cons: -2500 max DPI
-2ms max polling
-Scroll Wheel
-DPI increments (read below)

Other Thoughts: Believe the hype on the battery life. Been running one battery for 3 weeks of heavy usage, switching between performance and saving modes depending on the task at hand, and it's still above 50%. I believe it would accommodate any style grip as the size and profile are outstanding. I would have preferred a more rubberized texture similar to the palm area for the grip area on the sides but the sandblasted feel does add a grip texture and is superior to a smooth surface. The mouse tracks great on performance mode -- even for FPS. I'm sure there will be some people out there who insist on the 1 ms polling rate but lets be honest. How much of a difference is there between 1/1000 and 2/1000 of a second? If you are not a competition player this is a non-issue. Same goes for DPI. Very few people will need, or even want, a DPI above 2500. The DPI can only be in increments of 250 starting at 500 as far as I can tell so if you are a player that insists on a DPI other than 500,750,1000 etc. up to 2500, you're out of luck here. The only thing I even considered taking an egg off for is the scroll wheel. There isn't as much resistance from one movement to the next as I'd like. The rubbery grip feel on it is fine but I have run into 1 or 2 scenarios where I tried to to press it and accidentally scrolled. However, it hasn't been enough of an issue that I felt the need to un-assign it.

All-in-all, this is an exceptional wireless mouse that will serve almost any gamer well. You'll be hard-pressed to find anything out there like it at this price point.

5 out of 5 eggsNo Lag, Loooong Battery Life

Pros: Aesthetically, this thing is beautiful. Ergonomically, it's superb. It's big enough to house a fair number of buttons, but not gaudy big and hard to control.

I waited until I've had this mouse for about 6 months, so I can accurately report on battery life. Since I've had it, I average about 15 hours a week gaming (Oblivion, Skyrim), and the battery level has yet to come off of full!!!

The on-the-fly dpi resolution switching and performance modes are very easy to use, but I don't use them often, as I've never had a lag or jitter on economy mode.

I took a chance on a newer wireless device, and boy am I happy. It's so nice not having the wire to deal with and not suffering performance for it.

Cons: The rear thumb buttons are a little hard to get at with a palm grip.

Other Thoughts: If you're initial is "G", you'll love having this along with Logitech's G440 gaming mouse pad- friends will think it's a custom set.

2 out of 5 eggsBlisters the first day

Pros: Very smooth left and right mouse buttons and the shape is very comfortable.

Cons: Side buttons are buggy, don't always work when programmed and after 2 hours of gaming with this mouse I have 2 blisters on my thumb because how hard you have to press them and having to repeatedly press them to get them to execute the function.

Other Thoughts: As a general mouse it's a bit pricey but very comfortable but if you're doing any gaming where you want to program the side buttons you probably want to look elsewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding product

Pros: The Logitech software makes programming this mouse very simple. The dpi selection and dpi shift capabilities make for quick dpi adjustments on the fly. The six side buttons are extremely convenient. This mouse has a great feel, long lasting battery life. I just bought two rechargeable AA batteries but honestly I only change them once every two or three months and I abuse this thing daily. This mouse has changed the way I work (software development) and the way I game.

Cons: There is no way to manually scroll through profiles. Hopefully this is something that can be fixed in an update, but I'm not holding my breath.

Other Thoughts: I don't know how I could function without this mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: Great value.
Sturdy construction. I use it for everything, not just gaming. It feels high quality and I don't see any signs of wear after 8 months of non-stop use.
The easy to reach DPI buttons make shifting on the fly a snap. Makes sniping in FPS games very easy.
More than enough buttons for my needs.

Cons: Booklet doesn't give you very much information about the mouse.
I have big thumbs and I sometimes hit the wrong thumb button. They're close together.
Battery life is okay. It's not the greatest, but I'm not complaining for a budget gaming mouse.

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse to finally step up my game. I'm rarely every unhappy with a Logitech product and this hasn't let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother great Logitech mouse

Pros: +Comfortable
+Programmable Buttons
+Power Saving Mode (Handy when you get the low batt warning)
+On-the-Fly DPI Changer

Cons: -A little heavy

Other Thoughts: I have always trusted my gaming needs to Logitech's mice. They always seem to know how to make a great mouse! Will definitely recommend to anyone who is a serious gamer but is skeptical about wireless mice.

3 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: -Extremely comfortable even for my large hands. It is very hard to find a mouse that I can use comfortably, as most mice feel too small and dainty, but this mouse is large enough and sculpted well enough that I can use it with almost no fatigue.

-Fun lights? It will flash blue or green depending on the power mode you have it on.

-Pretty good amount of buttons. It's got a lot without having too many, and all can be reached with a roll of the thumb.

-The buttons that change DPI are kind of nice when gaming.

Cons: I've had this mouse for more than a year. In that time this mouse takes abuse from gaming, school and work. School and work involve a huge amount of CAD work, 3d modeling, post-production and graphic design, so finding a mouse that can take that much abuse and hold up is hard. That being said:

-The mouse wheel center click went sporadic by the end of the third month of use, and died completely by the end of the 4th. The easy fix was to remap the center click function to one of the side keys, which was very easy considering the software.

-The primary left click button started to double tap by the end of the 8th month, which while its interesting in gaming, is extremely frustrating in work and school. My solution to this initially was to just slide my finger closer to the center of the mouse in order to get a more reliable click. About three days ago the left click died entirely.

Other Thoughts: For the price of the mouse ($80) I'd have expected a longer life from all of the clicking functions. I have had much cheaper mice that have lasted longer (until I do something stupid like spill super glue on them). However, for the abuse that the mouse was put through I guess it could be said that it lasted long enough, as the typical life of a mouse for me is two to three years. For someone that doesn't cart the thing around and just leaves it on their gaming desktop all day, this is a good mouse to use.
