5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse!

Pros: Great value.
Sturdy construction. I use it for everything, not just gaming. It feels high quality and I don't see any signs of wear after 8 months of non-stop use.
The easy to reach DPI buttons make shifting on the fly a snap. Makes sniping in FPS games very easy.
More than enough buttons for my needs.

Cons: Booklet doesn't give you very much information about the mouse.
I have big thumbs and I sometimes hit the wrong thumb button. They're close together.
Battery life is okay. It's not the greatest, but I'm not complaining for a budget gaming mouse.

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse to finally step up my game. I'm rarely every unhappy with a Logitech product and this hasn't let me down.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother great Logitech mouse

Pros: +Comfortable
+Programmable Buttons
+Power Saving Mode (Handy when you get the low batt warning)
+On-the-Fly DPI Changer

Cons: -A little heavy

Other Thoughts: I have always trusted my gaming needs to Logitech's mice. They always seem to know how to make a great mouse! Will definitely recommend to anyone who is a serious gamer but is skeptical about wireless mice.

3 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: -Extremely comfortable even for my large hands. It is very hard to find a mouse that I can use comfortably, as most mice feel too small and dainty, but this mouse is large enough and sculpted well enough that I can use it with almost no fatigue.

-Fun lights? It will flash blue or green depending on the power mode you have it on.

-Pretty good amount of buttons. It's got a lot without having too many, and all can be reached with a roll of the thumb.

-The buttons that change DPI are kind of nice when gaming.

Cons: I've had this mouse for more than a year. In that time this mouse takes abuse from gaming, school and work. School and work involve a huge amount of CAD work, 3d modeling, post-production and graphic design, so finding a mouse that can take that much abuse and hold up is hard. That being said:

-The mouse wheel center click went sporadic by the end of the third month of use, and died completely by the end of the 4th. The easy fix was to remap the center click function to one of the side keys, which was very easy considering the software.

-The primary left click button started to double tap by the end of the 8th month, which while its interesting in gaming, is extremely frustrating in work and school. My solution to this initially was to just slide my finger closer to the center of the mouse in order to get a more reliable click. About three days ago the left click died entirely.

Other Thoughts: For the price of the mouse ($80) I'd have expected a longer life from all of the clicking functions. I have had much cheaper mice that have lasted longer (until I do something stupid like spill super glue on them). However, for the abuse that the mouse was put through I guess it could be said that it lasted long enough, as the typical life of a mouse for me is two to three years. For someone that doesn't cart the thing around and just leaves it on their gaming desktop all day, this is a good mouse to use.

5 out of 5 eggsBest mouse for the price

Pros: I have a large hand and this mouse fits perfectly to my hand

Takes 2 AA batteries (i use sayno eneloop) and it can run only on !
to decrease weight

adjust your dpi on the fly

6 programmable buttons

I did not buy it new instead It was bought factory refurbished else where at a great price. But I would buy it new if just to have it in mint condition. I received my with scuffed mouse pads

Cons: no free scrolling mouse scroller

Other Thoughts: When I first wielded this beast it felt so heavy in my hands I just used one battery. But this feeling goes away over time as your strength grows.

I use it with a Razer speed mouse pad and it works well with the switchable dpi

5 out of 5 eggsVery comfortable mouse

Pros: I purchased this mouse in hopes of finding a more comfortable gaming mouse. I use one of the Razor models which require a claw grip. I have to say that this is one of the most comfortable mice I have ever used. I purchased a second one for work. The funny thing is that I still use the Razor for gaming since it just doesn't have enough buttons for me.

Cons: Could use some more buttons if you are gaming.

Other Thoughts: I plan to try the RATT 7 MMO next. But I still love this mouse and hope Logitech keeps it around.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: - Flawless button placement.
- Great feel and weight.
- Wonderful upgrade from my G501 wired.

Cons: - The material on the thumb placement area is weird feeling to me. Not worth docking any points though.

Other Thoughts: The wired/wireless thing is over rated. I love the fact that this is wireless and I plug it into my pass through USB port on my keyboard and I felt no issue with response.

One thing I did notice that I was not aware of is the button limitations of Windows to only five buttons. This took me a bit to figure out when I was using the programming software, but all is well now.

Also, unit works wonderul in the BIOS and I love all the programmable features and detection of games that I am playing and the adjustments are made flawlessly. I was impressed with how when you App switch the program recognizes it and makes the adjustment back and forth.

5 out of 5 eggsBattery Saver

Pros: • Battery Life: The battery that came with the mouse lasted me 5-6months. I always have it on endurance mode with 125 polling rate as I don't see / feel much difference between the two modes.

• Comfort: I like how this mouse molds around my fingers. It's perfect for palm grip. You can also claw it but may need to adjust your thumb when you need to use the side buttons.

• 5 DPI presets: 250 dpi up to 2500 dpi on the fly

• Smooth: The feet under this mouse is really smooth.

• 6 Side buttons: More than I need, but they are there.

• Highly customizable macros with the software.

• You can use just one battery and it would still work, this can be helpful if two batteries are too heavy for your liking.

• On-board memory for your button settings, which means it will work on a computer without the logitech software.

Cons: • No horizontal scrolling

• Price, a little pricey but I got it on sale

• I find that if you have a blank smooth surface (white paper, glass) this mouse doesn't work as effective.

• It can take a while to get used to the side buttons, I've accidentally pressed when picking up the mouse for repositioning.

Other Thoughts: I use this mouse for general use like surfing the web and moderate gaming like League of Legends, CSGO, etc. In addition, I also use Adobe Illustrator, and the dpi switch is really helpful when doing some pen tool work. Very accurate mouse

I wish the software detected other apps too, like photoshop, illustrator, blender, etc. The side buttons could be used as shortcuts.

I've had this mouse for about 1.5 year and I've only changed the battery twice. It's amazing.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech G602 wireless mouse

Pros: Familiar design, comfortable hand position, ease of battery swap, plug and play for the most part. Darkfield laser technology is spiffy, as is the unified receiver.

Cons: Sensor adjustment buttons seem a little too forward to me. The lack of in-box software is also foreign. It lacks the left/right function in the wheel, and the free-running wheel option, too.

Other Thoughts: This is the current-make closest LG mouse that, for the most part, basically IS the older MX1100, which I'm saddened to know will never be made again. Time and again, I find myself attempting to hit the back and forward buttons with my thumb, only to be thwarted with four additional buttons nearby. On the MX, I had changed the DPI buttons to volume control, which I will have to address with two of the now 6 thumb buttons instead.

I'm glad somebody at LG thought of retaining the basic concepts of the MX1100 and updating the electronics. I can't say that I enjoy all the new buttons, but I'm going to make the best of it. I will do another review around June to compare.

Thanks, LG for not totally redesigning a classic!

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome gaming mouse

Pros: This mouse fits my hand perfectly. I have pretty big hands and long fingers, and this mouse is a very nice fit. The side buttons are nestled perfectly where my thumb can easily find them, and the adjustable DPI buttons are very handy when switching from gaming to internet browsing. I've also seen no noticeable lag/problems with it while gaming. Also the side thumb rest is a very nice feature.

Cons: A friend complained that he didn't like the texture of the thumb rest and felt like his thumb was sweaty, but I disagree and think the texture feels just fine. He said it was a very small nitpick to a very comfortable mouse.
