5 out of 5 eggsVery accurate!

Pros: Very accurate, total customization. The surface recognition is pretty cool.

Cons: Scroll wheel is pathetic. Mouse is smaller than the G500s. Buttons seem to be in the best places.

Other Thoughts: The mouse is extremely accurate and smooth. Took a little getting used to.

5 out of 5 eggsNice mouse.

Pros: + The weight is just right, feels about the same as the G9x.
+ Good tracking, it's much smoother.
+ Good grip.
+ Fits my hand better than the G9x, the mouse is longer.
+ Metal scroll wheel doesn't get all nasty.
+ Buttons are all mechanical and well placed.
+ Software is easy to use.

Cons: Can't think of anything negative right now.

Other Thoughts: I don't use the weights.

Not trying to fanboi it with the positives only. It's just that this mouse has lived up to all my expectations so far.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect gaming mouse

Pros: - Great finger grip
- Tons of customizations
- AMAZING software
- Love weight customizations
- Plenty of buttons
- Non-intrusive LED
- Easy to read LED's
- Responsive buttons (sometimes a bit too responsive, see cons)
- Precise scroller

Cons: - Rubbers at the bottom of the mouse seem to have worn off rather quickly.
- You will hit the sensitivity button accidentally many times when left clicking

Nothing really worth taking an egg off.

Other Thoughts: If you want a reliable mouse with a GREAT software this would be it. This is by far the most I've ever spent on a mouse (and mouse pad) but its actually worth it. The only thing is I'm really looking into getting new bottom rubber shoes because at first it felt that the mouse would "glide" over the pad, now it feel like a drag, you can actually hear it.

Overall I'm happy with the mouse, hope it lasts me a long time because of the price tag so I hope I don't need a new one for a while. The 3 years warranted played a role into getting me to buy it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Love the button placement and the scrollwheel. Stupidly high DPI, you will be lowering it lol. The learning a surface is nice. It's amazingly consistent.

Cons: I have no idea. Maybe to heavy for some people?

5 out of 5 eggsThe Mouse

Pros: Great feel and incredibly responsive. Sleek look and very comfortable for medium sized hands. Excellent build quality.

Cons: Could go without the light, but that is just my taste. Nothing to break an egg for.

4 out of 5 eggsLogitech G502

Pros: Extremely accurate. Has weight adjustment if desired. Programmable buttons, Three Profiles, Can create Macros

Cons: Already a heavy mouse for FPS gaming. A little too narrow for long gaming sessions as it can cause some cramping of the hand for some people

Other Thoughts: This is an extremely accurate mouse, the best on the market. It is a little too narrow to hold for long gaming sessions however. I have not experienced any feet issues as reported by other gamers, however I am using a hard surface matt and not a cloth matt. Some gamers have reported issues with accidently hitting the DPI up button, but I have not experienced that issue. The software could be a little more robust and providing a lift off option would be extremely nice to have. I did not have any issues with the updating of the firmware and the mouse seems to work fine. I had been using the Roccat Kone Pure Optical, which is also very accurate and smaller than your typical mouse, but Logitech has done an extremely good job with this mouse. I wish they had used this sensor on the G402 and charged a little bit more as the sensor is as advertised. You can program this mouse for use with MMO games. I have not used the Macro feature, but it is there for you to use and try. I have not experienced any issues with the braided cord, but I also use a bungee which works great. The cord is a little thick, but still fits into the bungee. With the ability to set 5 DPI settings and pretty much pick what you want and three profiles, you should not have any issues using this mouse. I would recommend a hard matt as gamers have reported issues with the feet on cloth matts. I know I stated this earlier, but wanted to state it again.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth Every Penny

Pros: Absurd level of customization for all of the buttons. They may seem a tad bit overkill at first but if you plan to use the mouse as your daily driver you may find them useful at some point down the road. I don't find the "G7" & "G8" to be obtrusive but i don't have the largest fingers. Your mileage may vary.

The unlock-able scroll wheel. Honestly, I don't know how I lived without it. Not great for gaming, but incredibly useful for browsing, video editing, spreadsheets, I won't go on.

Extremely comfortable for a medium-sized hand.

Seems to accommodate my claw or palm grip just fine.

Software isn't perfection, but I prefer it to Razer's or Corsair's.

The weights work fine. I kind of liked the Corsair M65 style weights more but they do the trick. If you're worried about the magnetic cover, it doesn't come off. I've used this mouse for hundreds of hours now. Not even once. You'll be fine. Don't pick at it.

Matches my Ducky Shine like ungh.

Cons: -Tad pricey. Wait for a sale. Or don't. Many of you have the money. Why not?

-12,000 DPI is ridiculous. Not a con, but I'm sure the sensor drove the price up a bit.

Other Thoughts: 3-year warranty should probably sell you if my "review" didn't.

4 out of 5 eggsBitter Sweet

Pros: This mouse is everything an fps gamer needs. Between the DPI adjustment buttons, the DPI shift button, and being able to program it, this mouse delivers it all. Because it had both adjustable weights, as well as programmable keys, I fell in love 3/4s of the way with this mouse

Cons: Although it has amazing features as well as a slick design, it fell short in the fact that it was too long. I usually wrest my palm on the desk while moving my hand slightly, giving me max control. However with this mouse, I had to completely gripit with my hand, forcing my to lift up my palm, causing me toloosr control. I also did not like how far forward the DPI shift key was, forcing me to move my hand even further.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Very very accurate. Very responsive. Used with the Logitech G series mousepad (black cloth), it moves better than anything I've ever used. Went 52 - 7 in Day of Defeat during first use. I had been struggling with my G9 recently. The mouse is small and if you have long fingers, their is a button that is on the left that your thumb hits a lot on accident, the button isnt yet programmed yet so until you set it, that could be a problem. For me, I switched to more of a claw grip than normal because of this. Seems to be good for me so far. No cramping and good control.

Cons: My one gripe, is that the section where the weights go is covered by this flimsy door. The tab to open it, sticks out a little. Its no big deal, but if you pick it up and accidentaly push on the door, it falls to the floor. I thought the G9 had a better system for adding weight.

There is the right click issue. However, You have to drop it pretty hard. I dont pick up the mouse when I game, I prefer the mouse to cover the entire screen by using just a small area of the mouse pad.... but i cant understand why you would pick up and then slam it down. Sounds like a silly way to game with a high powered laser mouse.

Other Thoughts: I am replacing a G9. A couple other top Mouses I have owned, are the MX Revolution, Razer Lachesis. The MX Rev was amazing. I loved it. I recently bought the MX Performance which is similar. Well, the left click started sticking during the first day! If this was a review for Logitech as a whole, it would be 3 eggs. Not a great company anymore....only certain products can be trusted. I think their G series is the best the world. Hope they can keep it going.

5 out of 5 eggsJust Perfect

Pros: Within 5 minutes out of the box, I have never been this happy with an input device. I have none of the scroll wheel complaints I've seen, it is -fast- when unlocked, but not stupidly so, and the clicking when locked is not loud at all. It has a pleasing weight, and a perfect shape for both Palm and Fingertip use. The buttons all seem optimally placed for my medium sized hand.

Cons: The light up G is awfully bright, I may go over it with a Sharpie to dim it a bit. Also, I think it was supposed to come with supplementary weights, but I find none in the box, and the bay underneath is empty, so?? I probably don't need them, so not a big deal, but still, not there.

Other Thoughts: I've never paid this much for a mouse, the reinforced and braided wire pushed me over the edge, as I am sick of reliable mouses suddenly beginning to short out when they could have so much more use ahead of them. I'm very, very, very happy with my purchase so far, and anticipate no problems down the road. A++ !
