5 out of 5 eggsMy review

Pros: This mouse is exactly as advertised. Smooth, comfortable, tons of features

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: I upgraded from the Logitech G500, which worked great for me for 4+ years. So far, this mouse seems like a definite step up.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this mouse

Pros: -Just the right amount of buttons
-Buttons nicely shaped and positioned
-Can change profiles on the fly
-Comfortable for hybrid palm/claw grip

Cons: Can't think of any

Other Thoughts: I use this mouse mainly for MMO gaming. It's exactly what I needed. Not too many buttons, not too few. I love the positioning and shape of the buttons as well. I don't find myself accidentally hitting any of them and I was able to quickly memorize each one. I have larger than average hands (for a female) and use a hybrid palm/claw type grip and I find all of the buttons very easy to reach. I'm not concerned with DPI settings as much, I simply wanted a mouse that was comfortable and had several programmable buttons. This is perfect for my needs. I can't praise this mouse enough! So happy with my purchase

5 out of 5 eggsComfy

Pros: Comfortable. Perfect fit for my hand. All the buttons are easily accessible. Software is very user friendly and adjustments can be made in the blink of an eye. Extremely responsive to movement and clicks.

Cons: Pinky and Ring Fingers have no where to comfortably go except to be dragged along the mouse pad, so it has taken a few days to get use to but I've already grown accustomed to it.
The only color LED you are able to use is blue. You can make it pulsate, or not glow at all (talking about the 'G').

Other Thoughts: More customization for colors on the LED would be a huge bonus. But all in all, the best mouse I've ever owned.

3 out of 5 eggswhat happened to O-T-F

Pros: -1 ergonomics, hand stays in a good place and fingers do not rest over buttons.
-2 has a fair amount of buttons despite not having any on the right side.

Cons: as the title say's
-1 no o-t-f sensitivity (on he fly)
i guess they call changing dpi the same as changing sensitivity, it is NOT the same thing!!! bring this feature to Proteus
-2 no way to bind to a set dpi amount
your only alowed to cycle up or down from the current level, which is confusing as hell in games when you have more than 3 levels you want to switch between
Sent at 1:43 PM on Tuesday

what is the deal with mouse companies scrapping features in the software that used work great !!!! 1st Razer (synapse)and now Logitech the 2nd mouse maker i have seen that is actually taking features away as they "upgrade" their software and removed the ability to set a desired DPI amount with a single button press.
Now all i see today is cycle up and cycle down, i don't want that !!!! AT least Razer has kept the on -the-fly sensitivity and on screen display bar but jeeez at this rate will be back to 2 button mouses by 2020.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Gaming Mouse

Pros: Adjustable weight is nice even if I can't tell the difference too much, and being able to unlock the mouse wheel is good for casual non-precise scrolling.

Cons: DPI settings go from very low to medium with nothing in between standard, but can be adjusted with their program if you install it. It's also a little but small for my hand on the left side so my pinkie drags but it hasn't affected peformance.

4 out of 5 eggsThe best sensor on the market in a pretty darn good shell

Pros: -Most accurate sensor available to consumers, in my personal testing I observed zero acceleration and zero jitter
-Surface tuning feature allows for extremely short lift-off distance
-Extra buttons are placed well so that most grips can access just about all of them comfortably
-Software is very well-designed and easy to use
-Shell is very resistant to stains from oily or sweaty hands
-Scroll wheel on free mode is very handy to have for scrolling through long documents without having to use page up and down

Cons: -Mouse is quite heavy even without the included weights applied
-There were reports of the slippy feet coming off, however there is no pealing of any sort on mine leading me to believe that they may have changed adhesive and you can always buy replacements for $3 on the Logitech website
-Left mouse button has a bit of vertical travel causing it to rattle when my hands are a bit moist and I click and then pull up off the button, not a huge deal but it bothers me
-Middle mouse button has a bit of travel even in clicky mode, meaning that you can both subtly hear and feel the mouse wheel moving around on quick flicks of the mouse, though this is probably not an issue for most as I game at 400 DPI and around 50 cm / 360 degrees, and even then it's not that noticeable
-Slightly uncomfortable for me to palm, I have slightly bigger than average hands for a male and my index finger always felt uncomfortable palming the mouse, I have switched to a fingertip grip and the mouse feels great

Other Thoughts: Whether the G502 should appeal to you depends on what you look for in the mouse. Is having a pixel-precise mouse sensor the most important thing to you? Because you simply can't beat the G502 in that regard. You can flick as fast as you can and it's sensor will keep up the whole way. Ergonomically, the mouse is probably a claw/fingertip mouse, and if you intend to palm it definitely try it first. The weight will be a sticking point for some, 120 g nears even the massive Steelseries Rival, and any low sensitivity users like myself find themselves much more comfortable with something under 100 grams, though I personally find I can handle the weight. If you can't deal with a heavy mouse, look to other options. Logitech's own G402, Zowie's FK2, Roccat's Kone Pure Optical, or Razer's Deathadder are all great options which may not have as flawless of a sensor as the G502, but are pretty darn good, certainly a hell of a lot better than laser, without bringing all that extra heft

4 out of 5 eggsG9 is still the king.

Pros: It's very comfortable.
Buttons are very logical.
Has 3 thumb buttons!
Free-wheel switch is easily accessible.
Incredible DPI level.

Cons: Game profiles aren't the same as G9. It doesn't seem as full featured. Don't expect it to be the same.

It feels a bit light and cheap compared to the G9.

Other Thoughts: I'm sad the G9 is no longer made. This G502 is a great mouse but it's not the best ever. That said, I'd still recommend it to anyone. It's very reminiscent of the G5 and a very well designed mouse.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: This is a great mouse. I was concerned that this mouse was going to be narrow as some reviews state, but its not. Its a very comfortable grip immediately. Ive had many gaming mice and this one is the best yet. Its as cool as a R.A.T, sexy as a Razor and as reliable as Logitec.

Cons: Does not work properly on glass top tables without a mouse pad, unlike the ever superior ball mouse.

Other Thoughts: You've been.. COUNTERSTRUCK
