Cons: - Scroll wheel is not *quite* the same as with the original and is loud and extra clicky
Other Thoughts: My original Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 began developing a problem where single clicks would register as double-clicks, so I had to get a replacement. I had it for around 6 years though, so it lasted pretty long.
I got this one, and it's a good replacement (as it is basically the same thing) but the quality in the scroll wheel is not up to par with the original. The original had a smooth, quiet wheel, but it also would click into place as you scrolled.
This one has the same action, but it feels cheap, does not scroll as smoothly, and is quite loud and 'clicky' sounding.
Hopefully it will break in over time and become more like the original.
Overall still a great mouse, but the wheel is a bit lacking from the original. Still happy with the purchase though.

Pros: A true reproduction of it's predecessor.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Regarding the scroll wheel, it *is* a bit clunkier than the original, but it doesn't put me off.
I'm just glad to have a replacement for my trusty old 3.0. I was fretting about finding a different mouse to replace it... now I don't have to worry about it. I've been gaming with a 3.0 since they were first introduced and truly love the feel of this mouse.

Pros: Very solid mouse. I bought one several years ago and it is still working like new. I bought this one to replace my g/f old cheap MS mouse that had a button die after only 2 years. Spend a little more and get this mouse. You will not be disappointed.
Smooth motion, lots of buttons, nice feel.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Kinda of sketchy with my KVM but I think it is the KVM. I stopped using the KVM and everything is working great. I wish more good mice were PS2 but I know that they are going out of style in favor for USB. USB really is better... It does come with a USB to PS2 adapter.

Pros: Comfortable, slick, accurate and easy to use. The Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 is a great mouse. I've owned this for a few years now, I gave into the hype of "pro gamers" using it and I gotta tell you. It's amazing. Sure the dpi is reletively low (probably 450 or so). The weight and comfort of the mouse make it easy to use any sensitivity you desire and still take/make an accurate shot in games. I also use this for everyday tasks and it's fantastic.
Software is easy to setup w/ MS's software and integration into a Windows OS.
Cons: The only cons I can think of are, the low dpi and my "backwards" button came kinda loose feeling.
I'm not sure if this is normal but it's always been loose, it hasn't affected performance, but it's still kinda lame/annoying that it jiggles if im moving my hands around.
The low Dpi is only a con if you prefer more pixel precision, such as I do. But really if you fine tune your sensitivity settings you will be on par with most any mouse on the market.
Other Thoughts: Mouse feet seem kinda see thru right now, maybe I need new ones? still smooth - im running this on an Xtrac Pads Pro soft mouse pad.

Other Thoughts: I have 3 of these now. the original I use heavily at work and have had for 5-6 years. The new re-release model is just like the old ones except the scroll feels a bit looser.
This is still the best all around mouse if you don't mind a cord.
