Pros: This webcam is great. I used it on my laptop to record lectures and it works perfectly. If you turn up the microphone all the way, you can record up to 15-20 feet away. As for close range, the microphone record crystal clear. You won't hear static noises. $40 is cheap for an awesome webcam.

Great picture, stand needs improvement

Pros: A breeze to setup, worked on google talk and skype without any issues on a winxp box
Cons: the stand doesn't work on my laptop screen without serious rigging/tape and cardboard. On a flat surface, or other laptops it works okay, but mine has a lip on the top that the stand can't really work with.

Pros: Decent picture, excellent price, and easy to use.
Cons: I have seen more intuitive stands. The cord should come off of the base.
