5 out of 5 eggsSurprisingly good

Pros: light, good shape, precise, no stuttering

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: although these mice feel cheap to the hand, they are surprisingly resilient. The last microsoft mouse failed due to a bad cable. But the mouse itself is solid, and for as long as it worked (2 years) I experienced no issues.

2 out of 5 eggsWeak Cord

Pros: The mouse itself is great if you have limited space to work with. Cord is a good length for a laptop; not too short to restrict movement, but not long enough to make coiling necessary. It's inexpensive.

Cons: There's no strain relief on the cord. It split near the USB connector the first time I bumped against the wall with it. I have had it wrapped in layers of tape ever since. The USB connector itself looks huge when you see it sticking out of your laptop. I have to put it on the opposite side of the laptop if I want any mousing space.

Other Thoughts: This definitely would have been better with a smaller USB connector and some strain relief on the cord. It would have been 4 eggs, but when the cord splits and exposes copper so soon...

3 out of 5 eggsToo small for many adults

Pros: Very inexpensive. Great size for children. I can sell these to my small customers for a profit.

Cons: Too small for most adults. An hour or so of using this mouse makes me appreciate a full size mouse.

Other Thoughts: I have no idea why any designer would think that a notebook or laptop mouse should be smaller than a normal mouse.
Does the person's hands shrink when they use a laptop computer? No.
Does the computer know what size the mouse is? No.
Does a smaller mouse use less of the laptop's battery? No.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: Works reliably and is responsive

Cons: The "back" button doesn't seem to do anything

Other Thoughts: This mouse is too small for my hands (I have about normal size hands for a man), but my wife loves it as it's a perfect fit for her small hands.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Mouse

Pros: 4 button layout is nice, I like having a back button on my mouse. The tilt wheel is a nice function as well, though I don't normally have a chance to use it for anything.

Mouse is very responsive, hasn't given me a single fit. No need to use the install CD with Windows 7, just plug it in and the most recent version of Intellipoint (8.0) installed on it's own.

Cons: The mouse is even smaller than the wireless version that I use for my laptop, certainly one of the smaller mice I have used.

I was expecting a small mouse, and I have large enough hands that I don't use my whole hand on a mouse anyway. Not a con for me, simply listing it here for those of you who dislike small mice.

Other Thoughts: For the price, this is a perfect fit with my system, absolutely recommend it to anyone needing a USB wired mouse.

System Specs:

AMD Phenom II x4 965BE OC @ 3.6GHz
4x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1333 RAM
Intel x25 80 GB SSD (Boot and games)
WD Caviar Black 1TB 7200RPM HDD (Storage)
Cooler Master 600W PSU
XFX Radeon HD 5770 1GB Graphics Card
NZXT M59 Case

4 out of 5 eggsNice... but a bit too small

Pros: It's definitely intended to be a notebook mouse that you throw in your bag and take with you. The cord is the perfect length for a notebook mouse.

Cons: The mouse is smaller than I had expected. I'm a big guy and my hands are a bit too big for this mouse. But at this price, I'll learn to adapt.

Other Thoughts: Wish Linux was supported. The side button is useless to me at this point.
