Not for everyone
- Pros: This mouse is not for everyon, but it is a great mouse.
- Cons: Kind of small for a "new" mouse. Recharge time takes up to 12+ hours if you over use it without recharging everyday.
- Other Thoughts: I would suggest someone to try this or the 6000 mouse before buying, its size is it's downfall for the most part if it does not fit your hand.
Pretty good
- Pros: Wakes up quickly, moves around the screen very smoothly, works great on my media center from my couch 10 feet away. Has a magnify hotbutton by default that is useful for reading small text on a HTPC.
- Cons: I hold mice on either side with my thumb and pinky finger. When I hold this mouse in that way, the tip of my ring finger rests on the chrome colored edge of the mouse and inhibits right clicking with that finger. I've not had this problem with any other mouse but I do have long fingers, so YMMV.
- Other Thoughts: Good mouse, although I'm still getting used to holding it slightly differently because of the right click issue. If you have long fingers like I do, you may want to look at a different mouse.

Poor Battery Connection in Mouse
- Pros: The 7000 mouse works ok if you get the battery + post to touch the connector.
- Cons: The 7000 with the USB (Flash Dr type) connecter seems to hold solid connection unlike the 6000 series mouse. The positive post on the battery supplied is not long enough, so you have to put a piece of paper around the battery for it to make a connection to charge. Or the mouse housing needs to be modified by manuf. This mose has been on the market for 1.5 years, you think microsoft would have had this defect corrected by now. The avg person would not know hoe to modify this mouse to work as it should. You can even google this mouse charging problem. Of course I could not get someone from MS on the phone, lol.
- Other Thoughts: Microsoft keyboard/mouse signal problems in 6000 series. Why are they still on the market.
Don't Buy
- Pros: Free
- Cons: Replaced my Microsoft wireless mouse with this model(7000) but the cursor is 80% erratic when navigating. Tried on multiple machines, laptop, desktop, both Windows XP and Vista but the problem persists. Microsoft sent me an identical mouse but it did not take care of the issue. After getting my money back and accepting the mouse for free I am still not satisfied after 6 months. My wrist constantly hurts from moving the mouse because it's "jumpy".
- Other Thoughts: Is worse on mouse pads so I use a hard clean wooden surface. Time to buy a new model or change brands.
Works great
- Pros: Got this as a freebie combo with a CyberPower UPS!
Wife got the wifi mouse and she likes it. Installed on her Presario laptop w/o a hitch. She did it herself and she's not a geek like me. It's 2.4 ghz and we have wifi-g in the house and there's no conflicts tha I've noticed.
