5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Quality

Pros: Sound quality is very very good, microphone boom is very adjustable, built-in controls are nice, USB cable is very long.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've used this for recording training video voice-over as well as VOIP calls and the quality is superb for both.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable, High Quality, Affordable, Headset

Pros: I have owned the LX-3000 headset for over a year now. Frankly, I can say that this headset is absolutely awesome. It's stood up to almost one and a half years of frequent and borderline abusive use. It's fallen off my desk many times and it still works perfectly. The sound quality is really pretty good. The bass surprisingly good too. The mic quality is great. The volume controls + mic mute is a convenience. It's pretty much plug and play, so setup is a sinch. I am 100% happy with my purchase, unfortunate thing they discontinued this product.

Cons: The led light is dying on the volume control panel. nbd.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Absolutely love this headset. It has by far one of the best microphones I have ever seen on something less than $100. The ear pads are soft and do not cut circulation like some over ear headsets. The volume buttons in line are a nice touch.

Cons: I understand why they have the mute button on the cord but it is very easy to put it down, pick back up, and find that you muted yourself by accident ("hey, can you hear me? hello? oh, right").

But honestly that con is barely even a negative.

Other Thoughts: As expected, Microsoft peripherals are 100% top notch. This one is no exception.

5 out of 5 eggsNeed a headset? Get this one.

Pros: Good sound, good mic sound recongnition, USB port. Can also seperate video calls and teamspeak to have it play from your headset while the computer sound comes from your speakers.
Also, I have no echoing or computer sound bleeding into my conversations.
Headset sound can be turned up and down on the headset cord independent of the computer, and the mic can be muted in the same way.
Also, this is inexpensive compared to many pieces I have seen, and is worth more than its price.
Overall, this is the best mic and headset with the lowest hassle I have ever worked with.

Cons: None. Works like a charm. No issues at all.

Other Thoughts: No sound canceling, but that isn't a big deal, it is less than $30

3 out of 5 eggsGreat... While they work

Pros: While they're working, they're wonderful. Mic comes through crystal clear on the other side, everyone is happy. Sound quality isn't the best, but I didn't buy them for that anyway.

Cons: They stop working randomly. And then windows refuses to recognize them for the first 20 times I plug them back in. Really, really annoying, and it happens often. Maybe it's a defective set and I'll have to get them replaced, but I've only owned them for two days now and it's happened six times.

Other Thoughts: Mic quality for this price is superb, sad to see it's discontinued.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Great features - good product

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decently comfortable. Sound is fine. Mic is fine (skype a lot, everyone thinks I sound loud and clear with little bg noise). Price is awesome. Very sturdy and well built, don't expect any problems.

Cons: Outside of my ears get a bit sore if worn for LONG periods of time (many hours). It actually blocks outside noise pretty well, which I dislike (feels weird). For this reason, I wear it with only one side covering my ear, and the other is to the side of my head. I do this when I don't need stereo.
USB is slightly annoying, because you can't just plug/unplug it. Plugging it in adds a sound device to your system, and then you need to go under sound settings and set that as primary each time. Didn't think of it when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: Most of these cons are my fault, so I only docked 1 egg. It is as advertised. Good product for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsNice for price.

Pros: Relatively cheap (price), cover ears, good sound quality for both input and output, comfy.

Cons: Static - they do not give too much and are a little stiff.

Other Thoughts: Good buy
