3 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: Good price if on sale. Good looking. Good feel for people with fat hands. Acceptable button placement. Good length for the cord.

Cons: Too light. Feels weightless when you first start using it. Plastic feels cheap. Left click is not always responsive. You have to click fairly hard.

Other Thoughts: Would not have bought it if it was not on sale.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks great for gaming

Pros: Works really well for playing games through Steam. But, some buttons not programmable on a Mac.

Cons: None really, it would just be nice to be able to program all the buttons on a Mac.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mouse

Pros: I bought this mouse for work with vector graphics, and needed something with a high enough dpi for fine point work on a large scale. This hit the mark perfectly. Also the ability to program the buttons to preform different functions in different programs is such a huge bonus its hard to describe.

I'm not a huge gamer but I do game a little and the ability to quick switch between mouse speed is amazing.

Even the slides on the bottom seem to be a very high quality seeing as how I use the mouse directly on the table and not on a pad and its still going strong for over a year. Excellent mouse I recommend this for everyone

Cons: The only con is not really a con, just the cleaning of the mouse is a pain between the buttons and middle of the mouse, the gap is not the same width but tapers to a point near your palm.

1 out of 5 eggsNice idea but no, more trash hardware from microsoft

Pros: * large mouse for larger hands
* good thumb buttons & great placement
* well built undercarriage
*sale price

Cons: * frantic clicking of the LMB can actually set off a middle click
* cheap feeling LMB and RMB
* center wheel has loosened a bit and is now rubbing and deteriorating
* laser does not work well on semi-translucent surfaces, on black & white print, or on clean white paper (dark mouse pad required)
* would like to re-program the dpi and "games" buttons to do other things, esp. in game.
* microsoft hardware support is difficult and not responsive to email requests/questions (must call and wait on hold to get nothing accomplished)

Other Thoughts: I don't change dpi on the fly because it makes no sense to me - I know some people like that feature but I would rather use the buttons in game instead. Center wheel is deteriorating all over my desk 1 year and 1 month after purchasing. I expected to get 3+ years out of this mouse as that's my usual with the Logitech mice I've had in the past. I experienced problems with this mouse within the first 3 months and now I'm at the point of no return, conveniently 1 month out of the warranty period. I should have expected this sort of thing considering how many fried x-boxes and cheap broken controllers I've seen. My fault for not being smarter.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great for showing off. Can program buttons for different programs (including programmable macros for things like MS Word to make your life easier). The precision switcher can come in really handy in games sometimes. Quick Turn is pretty cool (click turns you around 180 degrees to check your back in FPS games). Feels nice to grip.

Cons: I rarely end up using the programmable keys. The side buttons are sort of flimsy and feel like they might break soon.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat mouse - bad materials

Pros: its light(i know some may think its a con but its not this way u can control your cursor way better and the easy switch on the dpi makes it even easier to get head shots)

i was used to mouses with buttons placed horizontally - like most logitech products , so i was a bit afraid it might be hard to get used to it - i was wrong - its nice and easy and very comfortable to use them both

Cons: the biggest one is the material that the mouse wheel is made off , its some kind of weird rubber that wil actually start to shred and soon u will have mouse wheel getting stuck, unable or difficult to scroll up or down(very annoying in fps or if u use your wheel as keybinds - it will get to the point that u will consider buying a new mouse (which is what i did and purchased razer naga , and i would have ever even look for another mouse if not that mouse wheel - atm scrolling up or down with the mouse its so clunky that it makes it very frustrating to use

i cant take away more than 2 points because of this - because it is a great mouse - nice software with it with dpi regulation and stuff -i was so happy with it, and than the wheel started to shred
because of that i cant recommend this product to anyone
who is an fps or mmo player (and if they use mouse wheel extensively)
also the materials are very light so do not drop it or throw it lol (not that i tested it XD )

Other Thoughts: buy it if u do not use wheel at all
do not come close if u use the wheel to change weapons , or as a skill button , or even if u scroll the pages up and down when u browse

3 out of 5 eggsOkay mouse, but one crippling flaw

Pros: Very precise tracking, customizable DPI, and the bonus buttons are all nice. It is very large, but I don't mind.

Cons: Left button sticks! It's done it since the day I got it, but I thought it would "unstick" with use. Nope. Just about every 3 days or so, the left button just inexplicably starts catching on something, occasionally to the point where you have to click and then manually pop the button back into place before you can click again.

Other Thoughts: The button-sticking is possibly a one-time manufacturing flaw, but it still drives me crazy.
