3 out of 5 eggsMicrosoft Arc Mouse - Black

Pros: It's a mouse with 4 buttons and it's wireless.

Cons: Has interference problems. It will not track properly in an area saturated with wireless signals. The scrolling does not work properly either, it tends to jump if you do a lot of scrolling. See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these, lucky me. Number 1 has the connectivity issue. I traveled to my grandparents and it works great there. No extra signals or anything. Number 2 has the scroll issue, fine if you don't want to scroll. Needless to say I don't have either of these mice anymore.

3 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: Looks good.
Portable.
Batteries last for months.

Cons: The sensor isn't centered! This makes everything really awkward when you're used to precise gaming mouse.

It's hard to press the side button without clicking every other buttons at once.

Other Thoughts: The mouse does not really feel good in your hand, but I guess I'm the one to blame since it obviously puts the design in front of the ergonomics.

It still has a very good value.

5 out of 5 eggsBuying another

Pros: price point, quality, length of operation

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: nice and compact for travel. extends to nearly full size mouse for use, which I like because mini mice just feel too small for my hands. I use it everyday and the batteries have to be replaced about every 4-5 months. $30 for a mouse for 4-5 years is a good deal in my opinion. I'm buying another.

5 out of 5 eggsVery cool

Pros: Very sleek and elegant. Hinge seems strong. quiet but definitive clicks. (not annoying but you can tell when it's clicking) Felt bag with magnetic strips. USB dongle clips magnetically inside the base of the mouse for storage. Seems very accurate. The mouse software (if you can even call it that, it just adds a tab to the windows control panel mouse section) allows you to change which buttons do what, including macros.

Cons: Price. would've been more justifiable around 35$ but WTH it's cool. only a couple minor "problems", not enough to remove eggs. for one the pouch/bag is just slightly too short to fully clip shut unless you jam it in sideways in which case it's a nightmare to get out. The scroll wheel is pretty small and appears cheap but no problems with its functionality so far. The thumb button is essentially useless due to poor placement but imho who needs em unless you're gaming which this is obviously not intended for. It can be used if you choke up on the mouse but that's very uncomfortable for long periods. Also it is a little smaller than it appears in the pictures but no biggie I knew it was a travel mouse.

Other Thoughts: Other than the above mentioned minor flaws it seems solid and I just can't get over how cool this thing is. On a side note, if you do a lot of back end kicking of the mouse (if you do this you know what I mean) by habit to reduce overall arm movement and increase precision for short distances, then it may take you a bit to get used to this mouse since the lazer is on the front of the mouse unlike most which position it in the rear or middle, so the above mentioned movement doesn't work so well and will feel like it's not responding. Just an FYI. Final thought: buy one already, you won't be disappointed.

4 out of 5 eggsNice mouse

Pros: Collapsible and elegant looking. Works just fine.

Cons: Just short of 5 eggs because it feels a bit cheap for the price. In my opinion about $10-15 overpriced.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: I really wanted this mouse for two reasons: I have long fingers and small palms and mostly because it looks awesome. I was slightly hesitant of this purchase because of some of the reviews regarding the button placement and the scroll wheel. After I got it though, what I discovered is that this mouse is not meant to be held like a regular mouse. If held *almost* sideways, the optics are then centered and the thumb button is reachable. Your fingers rest upon it, instead of your palm resting upon it. I like this feel. Also, I have no issues with the scroll mouse appearing cheaply made. This mouse rocks!

Cons: Just wish it came in more colors.
