1 out of 5 eggsHorrible mouse--AVOID

Pros: looks nice

Cons: works when it wants to
getting the middle click button to work requires you to push down on it like you are superman
very skippy and jumpy
the side button can't be reached if you have small hands and why would someone with big hands use such a small mouse.

Other Thoughts: total waste of money a $3 wired mouse works better than this mouse

1 out of 5 eggsVery dissapointed

Pros: none

Cons: We purchased 15 in mid January for a new PC rollout by mid March 8 out of the 15 mice we purchased are dead. Replacing the batteries did nothing. What a waste of money and the return policy of 30 is pretty useless in our case. I expect a dead one each week at this point.

5 out of 5 eggsnice mouse

Pros: Nice feel, rugged construction. works on 99% of surfaces I've tried. Won't leave home without it.

Cons: Hummmm, none really... Battery last a few months. b

Other Thoughts: after my first 4000 got a sticky center wheel (it was 3-4 years old and used and abused) I need a new one. Actually it was the rubber on the wheel that cracked, causing a bump when scrolling. It was annoying, but mouse worked worked perfectly I can tell you these mouses are rugged! totally happy. Works well on 99% of surfaces. Only exception was a clear glass table, but i expected that.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: It is what you expect from it. Fits nice in your hand and glides with no issues. I like how high the third button is up high because with other wireless mouse I would press the button when moving it around.

Overall a great buy and would recommend it to other buyers.

Cons: Not a con for me but I can see how this mouse might be a little to small with individuals with big hands.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Great feel, great tracking, great product.

Cons: Had it for about two years and under constant heavy usage the rubber started to peel off the side and the scroll button, considering all this no real complaints.

Other Thoughts: Absolutely worth every penny

5 out of 5 eggsBuy this mouse

Pros: Silent center scroll, and very quiet left/right buttons.

Very responsive connection, even at OS start up and turning the mouse on. There is a on/off switch on the underside of the mouse, once you switch it on there is no lag connecting to the wireless transceiver.

Small nano USB transceiver; I use a desktop, but this is a plus if you use a portable laptop since it doesn't stick too far out of the USB port.

USB transceiver can be stored in the compartment on the belly side of the mouse.

All four buttons are customizable. I set my center button as "center click" and the outside button as Window's "Flip 3D".

Battery status indicator.

Battery life is very good compared to other wireless mouses I have used.

Cons: Rubber lined center scroll is nice, but it will wear out over time. I have two of these mouses, and both of them the rubber came off the track. The scroll wheel still works flawlessly in vertical mode, but the horizontal gets stuck (in my case at least). For most users, horizontal is rarely used.

Microsoft should design a left hand user model.. I'm right handed, but... haha

Other Thoughts: This is the best mouse I've ever used. Battery life is good in my opinion, but make sure you have some backup batteries. I use a Sony Cycle Energy charger and either Sony batteries or GP ReCyco batteries.

I wish the rubber lining on the center scroll wheel would last.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: Battery Life - I have been getting around 4 months of battery life with this mouse, both the one I use at work, and at home.
Solid Construction - The mouse feels durable. I've had both of mine for well over a year, and they're still holding up great. Button clicks are responsive, scroll wheel works fine.

Cons: Well, after a year of constant use, the little rubber slider feet are starting to wear away, but then it's only really noticeable if I don't use it on a mouse pad. Still glides pretty effortlessly across a decent mouse pad.

Other Thoughts: Don't know whether it's luck of the draw or that someone is doing something REALLY wrong, but I haven't seen the issue with the receiver burning out, or the bad battery life a few users have complained about. That is, unless they think 4 months is bad battery life...

3 out of 5 eggsWas nice...

Pros: Works on a variety of surfaces. Used this with my laptop while traveling, never knowing when I could find a good surface to use. More often then not, it worked great!

Cons: Dongle burned out. Even before it went out, I noticed it would get very hot. Almost too hot to handle.

Other Thoughts: Great when it works. After seeing that the dongle burning out is a common issue, I dont know if I care to ever fix this one. I bought another brand a few months back...

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfect, do you need more?

Pros: 1. Price (You buy from Newegg??? always cheap)
2. Quality (feels comfortable, small enough)
3. Life (Uses one 1 AA battery and last around 2 months)

Cons: 1. Have to install program to use one extra button on the left)
2. The wheel is always worse than Logitec. This one is bad. Which Microsoft put some more effort on this.

5 out of 5 eggsGood travel mouse for someone with small hands

Pros: Works on every surface I tried it on (regular mouse pad, the couch, my pants, shiny coffee table, glossy finish table at Panera bread). Enough range and sensitivity to play games from my HTPC 6 feet away (using a stiff-back mousepad sitting on the couch itself)

Cons: Some others here have stated battery life issues, I haven't had it long enough to notice this, I am still using the battery it came with and I bought it about a month ago. Not quite daily usage, though, so YMMV

Other Thoughts: Bought this to replace the mini-optical wireless mouse I had been using for years that was plagued by extremely short range. The last straw for me was it wouldn't work on the glossy table surface at Panera bread. The bluetrack tech in the WMM4000 works
