Microsoft Q2F-00001 USB 2.0 WebCam

Pros: Great picture. When it works, it works beautifully. Problem is, I have a microphone that I use for my Fluenz software and that microphone refuses to work once this camera is installed. Unfortunately the USB microphone in the camera doesn't work in this instance. Also, after I installed this camera I began to have other problems with my computer. It may just be peculiar to my installation, but I am guessing that it went on sale at half price at Staples, because bugs were showing up with this device. No conflicts registered in Device Manager but the computer didn't run right again until I reloaded Windows without the webcam.

Cons: Had multiple issues with my computer after installing it.

Pros: very clear camera. super hi res. microphone is surprisingly awesome. looks like a pro camera. no complaints here on this product! worth every dollar

Other Thoughts: i only payed $50 for this thing and i have to say it was worth every penny. its got a great piece of software to have some camera fun that i never thought i would just sit there and mess with the effects it can do for hours on end. the picture is pristine and perfect for skype and other online chatting functions.

Pros: Works out of the box, Win 7 x64, even better than lifecam Cinema 720p that had before it. Good looking and small so it wont draw your attention. Like the blue status indicator better than 720p camera.

Cons: not free? make sure you have plenty of lighting, after all its still just a webcam.

Pros: Works with Vista 32 and 64 rather flawlessly.

Cons: Problems with Win 7 Severe problem.s
Doesn't take 1080P PICTURES OR MOVIES.

Other Thoughts: i THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS TOO GOOD TO be true it was not good. Alittle creative misrepresentation as to quality.
I hate this thing and wish I hadn;y ordered it.

Pros: Decent picture quality for a webcam, easy installation.

Cons: Didn't install any of the goofy software, auto-focus occasionally gets confused.

Pros: blue light is pretty

Cons: I have tried this camera on both Linux and an installation of XP. Simply put I cannot get a good recording in 1080p on either. So yeah at the moment I hate this camera

Pros: The quality is great, and the mic is great too! you can even mount this cam to a tripod, it has an excellent mount on the bottom that is very flexible and easily adjusted

Cons: The cord is a little short, consider a USB extension cord if you plan on stretching a long distance. I've seen a lot of posts about the included software, it does only record video at 720p, however it is a great piece of software and the quality is still great!

Other Thoughts: I want to follow-up on what Kimbeanie said about the cam not working on their system because it isn't compatible, I so happen to have Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit, and a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition installed in my PC. It is "Completely" compatible, and it works flawlessly for me. I can assure you, you won't find a better webcam for the price of this one (at the time of this post)!

Pros: This camera is very nice. nice picture and a great microphone on it as well.

Cons: Doesn't record in 1080 without 3rd party software, which is fine, I suppose. I got some and it seems to work fine.

Other Thoughts: Microsoft should have packaged software to record and transmit/stream 1080 to begin with. If they cared about their customers they would have.

Pros: the more light you throw at this cam, the clearer it is. Love the software it comes with. I think its one of clearest web cams I've seen.

Cons: for some reason the software just didn't want to install but eventually did. not enough for me to deduct an egg because it did eventually work.

Pros: picture OK, HD fair but should be more reliable

Cons: Only 6 months old & overheats then picture blacks-out within 5 to 15 minutes. Own many good Microsoft produces but I would rate this as JUNK & not worth the trouble even if if was FREE ! ! !
