1 out of 5 eggsMicrosft's Best Effort?

Pros: Scrolls up & down, and left & right

Cons: I am using this mouse on my Win 7 PC. This mouse initiates actions on it's own. And not just once in a while. It scrolls, or zooms depending on the application. Inexcusable.
Also, battery life is poor. I used the mouse an average of 2-3 hours/day (it is my home computer). Batteries last about 3 months, Also inexcusable.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this mouse to anyone.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it needs too

Have to lift a finger of to click

Other Thoughts: Pretty neat mouse

2 out of 5 eggsvery buggy

Pros: gestures are useful

Cons: Doesn't fit my hand well. When I pick up the mouse, it will often click the left button because the button wraps around on all sides.
Have to lift left finger off of surface to right click. Mouse should either be pressure sensitive or have multiple buttons to fix this, but as is, it sucks.
When you place your hand on it, sometimes it will activate some of the gestures.

Other Thoughts: If you're an IT admin, gestures simply don't work with MMC.... can't even scroll.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Experience in Windows 8

Pros: A little odd at first, but now after having used it for about a week or so, I have grown used to it quite naturally. Touch gestures work great in Windows 8 when accessing the Windows 8 specific functions (charms, app bar, previous apps, etc.) as well as the built in touch scrolling and touch forward/back functions (after getting used to them, it would be hard to go back to my "old school" mouse now).

Cons: Only con thus far is that the horizontal scrolling does not work in Photoshop CS6. I'm not too worried about it though as it seems the latest software update has addressed most of the other items others have complained about, most specifically the app specific gestures (you can now specify touch gestures for specific apps), and I'm hoping that a fix will come for this as well.

Scrolling was a little weird at first, but now it seems after a little bit of tweaking of the settings, I have it working quite nicely now (was a con at first, now not so much).

As for battery life, haven't really used it long enough to notice, but shouldn't really matter as I'll be using rechargeable batteries anyways.

Other Thoughts: Probably the best ~$30 spent in a while (sale here at Newegg). Would definitely recommend to anyone using Windows 8 on a desktop (or non-touch screen for that matter).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This glorious device will knock your socks off.
Not only does its flawless sensor work on any reasonably hard surface including glass, but the Bluetooth Receiver works through concrete.
That's right, concrete. If you've ever used one of the godawful Bluetooth receivers of cheap wireless keyboards and mice, you'll understand the kinds of feels I'm feeling right now.
What input delay? I don't know of any input delay.
Apparently the mouse works with just one AA battery inserted.
With two AA batteries inside, the battery life is about a month long with proper usage (12 hours/day, turning off when not needed)

Cons: The Bluetooth transceiver does not fit any USB ports besides the USB extension cable it came with. Most are too large, others stick on it so tightly due to its small frame, you would think it that your USB port was like a dog that caught a tennis ball. Unfortunately waiting for the USB port to get disinterested in the Bluetooth receiver so you can quickly grab it does not work. I have yet to attempt to throw a frisbee in the general direction of the USB port.
I have to lift my index finger if I want to right click.
The hardware is master race tier, but the software is lacking. You cannot customize a mouse gesture for individual programs. It's all of them or none of them. Only left click and right click can be customized for individual programs.

Other Thoughts: I lost my other Touch Mouse while the university semester was still going. I am in tears right now just thinking about it.
But now that I have my touch mouse again, I can live once more.

Touch Mice cannot be reset. They are tied to a Bluetooth receiver for life. Do not make the same mistake I did and plug in the wrong Bluetooth transceiver while your touch mouse is on.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for multiscreen

Pros: I love this mouse with multiple screens. The gesture functions are awesome for doing research papers with many office docs and web pages open. If you use dual screens this is a must have item.

Cons: Battery life is junk. I buy AAs in 100 packs now. I've gone through about 100 in about a year and I am very aware of turning it off when I do not use it. It's very pricey(I did find it for ~$30-it was about $80 at the time I got this) definitely worth 30 though. The back gesture can be very annoying when filling out forms and then you go to move the mouse and as soon as your thumb touches it, it goes back a page and wipes your info.(it only seems to do this when filling out forms...)

Other Thoughts: Big learning curve but the pros outweigh the cons for me. I wish it was Bluetooth instead of IR. If the back gesture is too much of a hassle, it can be disabled in the command center. The software is very simple for it.

2 out of 5 eggsNot Very Useful

Pros: The mouse is solid, well built, and a good concept. It has very useful gestures for using Windows 8 without a touch screen.

Cons: The mouse is not very user friendly. Half of the time it doesn't respond to my clicks. Since it only has one button, and doesn't use any sort of pressure sensor to figure out what finger you are pushing with, you have to remove your fingers from all but the right side of the mouse when you want to right click.

A more personal dislike is that the mouse is too small for my hand making most of the gestures uncomfortable, or impossible to use without repositioning my hand.

Other Thoughts: I love trying new devices. I couldn't wait to get into Windows 8, and I love it. This review isn't negative for any other reason that the device doesn't work well for me. If you have a smaller hand, it might be just fine (if you can get used to the right click issue).

This was a Christmas present, it was on my Wish List at Newegg, but my wife didn't use my account to purchase it, so it might not show me as a confirmed purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: This thing is junk. It has a horribly uncomfortable shape, its cursor movement is jerky the scroll is jerky, there is 0 precision with this thing. If you were looking for a windows version of the magic mouse this is not it.

Cons: Poor performance
Jerky movements
lack of precision

1 out of 5 eggsNot for me

Pros: Interesting concept

Cons: -You have to left up your left fingure and depress the right side of the mouse to right click. I'm not thrilled that I have to lift up my left finger every time I right click. I right click a lot!
-Forward/back side touch action works at all the wrong times
-If you need to be precise with how you scroll, You'll need a real wheel. Editing within a DAW is nearly impossible. Scrolling on websites is frustrating.
-Takes two or three attempts to get a gesture to work
-Even after toggling sensitivity, behavior is erratic

Other Thoughts: Just a note about touch products in general, if you have callused fingertips, steer clear.
