2 out of 5 eggsNot a Gaming Mouse, Not Good Overall

Pros: Mouse movement works well, the side buttons allow for some customizable functions.

Cons: The scroll wheel does not have separeted notches. This means that scrolling is basically extremely fast, even when you turn down the scroll wheel option in the menu. This absolutely ruins games. It's impossible to play them with this mouse. Do not get it for gaming. Also, the middle button is too hard to click. I had to bind the middle mouse button to one of the side buttons because it just wasn't working for me.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: All the accuracy and surface compatibility I've come to expect from BlueTrack devices.

It is the only mouse that I have found that seems like it was made from a mold of my hand. As soon as I put my hand on it I was sold.

Cons: Several people have commented about the scroll wheel. It doesn't work well as a middle button because it's difficult to press without scrolling since there isn't any resistance to scroll. Since I rarely use the middle mouse button, this wasn't an issue for me.

3 out of 5 eggsdecent wired mouse

Pros: nice size, easy grip, good on various surface including glass. buttons are nice easy to reach.

Cons: wheel

Other Thoughts: I didn't like this mouse at first. As mentioned the wheel turned me off with its pitiful scrolling and its freewheeling unlike previous mice with ratchet lock.
However if you download the ms mouse & keyboard software from ms which isn't on the enclosed software you can custom set things much better.
That is the key.
On the downside my first mouse started cutting in and out after a yr of use with the dpi blue light flashing. It had gone bad. Reading reviews of logictech mice I see they do the same thing. I had to go back and use the old ms optical 3 wheel mouse and its just too small for my hand plus I miss the side buttons that are on the comfort mouse. The optical mouse I have is several yrs old and heavy used but it still works fine this comfort mouse should at least last as long under the same use. It didn't.
I replaced it though with another today because at $20.00 bills I don't think I can find a better mouse for my type of use, not a gamer.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent mouse

Pros: Easy sliding, great tracking, low cost

Cons: Wheel button is hard to push.

Other Thoughts: This is an update of my review from last week. The more I use this mouse, the more I like it. Maybe even better than the Intellimouse Optical - that one, it was very hard to pick up without accidentally clicking the side buttons. This mouse doesn't have that problem.

It's still too hard to click the wheel button though.

Four stars.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost a winner

Pros: Comfortable, easy to move, well built, tracks on anything, lightweight, programmable buttons and lots of them. I love those!

Cons: The middle button/scroll wheel is horrible. It rolls far too easily, and the button is much too hard to push. I haven't measured it, but I'd guess that it takes close to a pound of force to click that little thing.

Other Thoughts: The tilt wheel side-to-side scrolling works well enough, but I don't use it much.

This would easily be a five-star mouse if it had a better middle button/scroll wheel. Instead, I give it 3.5 stars.

Overall, the best mouse I've ever used is still Microsoft's Intellimouse Optical. Too bad they don't make it any more.

2 out of 5 eggsComfortable buy not much else.

Pros: Superbly comfortable and ergonomic. Mouse tracks very well and buttons are a treat. The side buttons are placed well enough that you don't accidentally click them.

Cons: As an active gamer and an internet "power user", the scroll wheel leaves a decidedly bad taste in my mouth. For such an essential part of mice these days, Microsoft dropped the ball on this mouse. The scroll wheel atrocious. There is no precise control. The wheel is bordered by rubber which makes it superbly comfortable, unfortunately rubber is the cause of the aforementioned issues. Furthermore rubber has a tendency to wear out as was the case with mine. The rubber border gave way due to deterioration, this left me with a non-functional scroll wheel.

Other Thoughts: If you have no use for a scroll wheel, this mouse is perfect. The scroll wheel however, irreparably mars what could possibly have been a perfect mouse.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice mouse with buttons in easy reach even for my big hands! Tracks nicely, installs in a snap.

Cons: the cable is very thin and flimsy looking but a lot of microsoft stuff has been recently.

Other Thoughts: It's a good all around mouse, buttons are easily programmable via the Microsoft mouse software.

5 out of 5 eggsComfortable mouse

Pros: I bought this is part of a build, I personally one one of these but blue. It works without a mouse pad on my glass desk which is impressive and it doesn't lose precision at all.

Cons: It wears down a little where you hold it since its rubber there, but I don't find it worth taking an egg from because its still comfortable to hold.

Other Thoughts: Best mouse for the price, just pick a color you like

2 out of 5 eggsNot for gaming

Pros: A comfortable mouse indeed. The extra buttons are smartly designed so that you can rest your thumb and only have to tilt it to hit the button, something I would like to see in more mice.

Cons: First and foremost, the scroll wheel. I bought this mouse for gaming since I liked the idea of having a button for my ring finger. But the scroll wheel cannot be pressed, and it scrolls smoothly instead of "tacking" one row at a time. This means you can't bind any commands to the middle mouse button, OR the scroll up/down.

Other Thoughts: This is not a gaming mouse. But for browsing long pages and general usage, it does the job just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsConfused by other reviews

Pros: I am completely confused by the bad reviews on this wonderful mouse, by far the best mouse I have ever used. I bought this mouse over 2 years ago for the bluetrack (which is amazing also), because I liked the idea of taking it around with me on any surface. I have used and abused this mouse on a daily basis for years, not only is this mouse a tank for damage but has not even had a hiccup in functionality or performance. The 2 side buttons are great and easy to assign in games from fps to mmo's, as well as great for back and forward wile web browsing. At one point my daughter dropped this in a glass of water, I quickly unplugged it, shook it out, and let it dry overnight with no problems the next day. Last year sometime the sliders on the bottom started pealing off but i just glued them back down with no problem. Some people stated the scroll wheel was to sensitive... I love the speed in which I can scroll but that is just my personal opinion. I love this mouse!

Cons: My only con is that i wish it had more buttons. (which is personal preference) It has 5 programmable buttons which is plenty for normal use but I just wish it had maybe one more for my thumb. (that is what started my search for a new one just like it but more buttons in which I found these bad reviews)

Other Thoughts: Definitely the best mouse I have ever used would and have recommended it to anyone looking for a well built long lasting mouse with nice features
