Other Thoughts: This mouse has been a real workhorse since I purchased it. I don't game a lot so I can't discuss the nuances of having 15 buttons or 10K dpi on one but this works well and doesn't give me any problems. Also, I'm left handed and run into a lot of curvature issues in most mice that I come across so I'm always on the look out for a cheap basic-shaped mouse.

- None, except I wish Microsoft kept the old "Optical Wheel Mouse" form factor, as this mouse is slightly smaller than older Microsoft mice.

Other Thoughts: Say what you want about Microsoft but they do make some fine keyboard and mouse hardware. I've purchased several of these over the past few years, not only for home use but for work use also. No problems what so ever with them. I only replace them because they become too dirty to want to touch anymore!

Cons: this is a cheap-o version of the older mouse models, something I did not expect from Microsoft.
flimsy plastic, cheap, noisy buttons, and it feels like a two-dollar mouse, looks like a two-dollar mouse, works and sounds like one, and, guess what, it really is a two-dollar mouse dressed up and marked up to 16 bucks. A real rip-off.
I would send it back, but it isn't worth the trouble, which I suppose is Microsoft's plan on producing these two-dollar mice.
So sorry I bought this mouse. Never again.

Pros: Works out of the box. Have a few of this model and have never had trouble with any of them.

Cons: The cord could be a little longer.

Pros: Works on any OS without any problems - even DOS. Simple and basic, yet very functional.

Other Thoughts: Good replacement for your old, worn-out mouse. A bit small, but that's OK - just close your hand around it a bit more.

Pros: I use a KVM switch for several computers with mixed operating systems ( xp home, xp pro, windows 7 ).
My ps/2 mouse finally died after many years.
I ordered this mouse plugged it in ... all the computers work with no problems.

I've been using this mouse for about 5 years now and it still works as well as the day I bought it. Can't go wrong with that.

Other Thoughts: Like what other people said, this mouse is nothing special. But being so cheap I expected it to break after a couple years. It's still going strong after 5 years so I have to recommend it.
