Pros: Good quality image and good quality mic. Especially for the price. It is lightweight and easy to set in various locations around your PC with a long enough cord to grab it so you can pan around the room to change the view for those you're chatting with.

Cons: I've noticed that when I use software like Skype the image I see of myself when video chatting with friends and family is constantly changing in brightness when I've got a white background behind me. I'm not sure if this is the webcam, MS, or just my gpu just pointing out that it is happening on what I see broadcast but not what I receive in video.

The only real complaint I have is that no software came with it nor any explanation about how to install it. Yes it was 100% completely plug'n'play but it would have been nice to have a message stating this on the packaging at least. It also wouldn't have hurt to know how I could take still images from it without having to rely on third party apps.

Pros: Works right out of the box, Great quality Pictures for the price i paid.

Cons: None that i can think of.

Other Thoughts: I got this webcam to replace my old one because the old one's microphone finally died. I figured I'd go for one of higher video quality while I was at it. Unfortunately, this webcam only worked the very first time I installed it. After trying it a couple of more times, it either never loads the video or shows a blank black screen. Also, the frame rate on this webcam is absolute trash most of the time. 90% of the time it's going at 1 frame per 10 seconds or so and other times it works at a good smooth 30fps. I'd move on to another webcam if I were you. This was on Win 7 x64 Home Premium.

Pros: I just bought this for home(technically not even a month more like a couple days of ownership). But I have been using one like this at work for more than 6 months (not continually) and the work place has been using them for ever.
They look, and work really nice.
It has a built in mic that apparently works really good too.
The camera is not that big and just sits on top of your monitor.

Cons: It could be made out of gold??? just kidding. I have not noticed any cons yet.... It is a web cam and it works for what I expected it to work- but if you are reading this MICROSOFT, IMPROVE IT!!! WE WANT BETTER!!

Pros: Wow, this camera is fantastic. Not only does it have an excellent picture but it automatically installs it's drivers. No disks, no downloads. I use this all the time and actually purchased another one for a family member.

Cons: NONE!!

Pros: Small, HD, flexible mount, price

Cons: None that I have found

Other Thoughts: Bought this for Skyping with work and it does the job perfectly.

Pros: That a decent product gets a bad review because a user doesn't know what they're doing or didn't check for compatibility with their OS. One user states that the unit didn't work on their install of Linux while a later user's review states that it did with an install of Ubuntu 12. Purchsaed my unit from a friend who upgraded and it works fine on 7 (which is on the OS compatibility list), and has decent picture quality for what I use it for.

Other Thoughts: No product should be denied an objective review simply because the user didn't check the unit specifications against their operating system. No where in the specs on newegg's product specification tab, or even on Microsoft's product page does it state that the unit is compatible with Linux and there is good reason for it. The correct thing to do is chalk it up as a learning experience and RMA or log in to your sellers account.

Pros: Good price.

Cons: Resolution is only 480p and Fps is limited to 30.

Pros: Easy to install, works right out of the box. Great quality for skype.

Cons: None

Pros: Decent cam for the money. 720p is nice. Also, it's compact and adorable.

Cons: Not crazy about the attempted auto-install of bloatware. Had some lag and sync issues when recording, but video chat appears to be ok.

Other Thoughts: bought primarily for video chat so will likely not be using the higher resolution, but it's there if I need it.
