5 out of 5 eggsGood mouse

Pros: -Quieter clicks

-Side scroll buttons can be mapped to keystrokes which allows for useful commands such as tab switching and moving up a directory.

-Very light weight compared to 2 AA battery mice

-Mouse on/off switch very easy to find without flipping the mouse over and damaging your retinas.

-Can be turned on using the right hand only.

Cons: -Smooth scroll is good in some applications (especially IDEs!) but it takes a little more effort on the web (maybe I will grow into it).

-The scroll wheel is a little to low so it's not as easy to flip it left and right as it is on some Logitech mice (but those mice seem to fall apart more, maybe that's why).

Other Thoughts: This mouse is much higher quality than Logitech mice in this price range!

Google "x-mouse button control" to find the software I prefer to customize mouse buttons because it's manufacturer independent.

3 out of 5 eggsTurned off, couldn't turn on (but I fixed it)

Pros: Nice color. I love blue :)

BlueTrack works nice on carpet and my homemade leather mousepad

Transceiver stores in the mouse

Power switch to save battery life

Cons: First, the biggest con: When I got this, I turned on the mouse and admired the blue light, played with it a little, and turned it off again. When I tried to turn it on later, it wouldn't come on. :O It turned out that the screw holding down the small circuit board that the switch was mounted on wasn't tight enough, and the external switch wasn't moving the actual switch. Simply tightening it fixed the problem and it works fine now. (It wasn't too easy to take it apart though)

Transceiver seems to have very limited range. I had it plugged in the back of my computer, and the mouse would move very jerkily, so I moved it to one of the front USB ports and now it works fine.

Other Thoughts: Got this free in a Windows 7 Pro promotion.

4 out of 5 eggscool mouse

Pros: Feels very nice, sturdy. Love the extra programmable button on the side. It has an on/off button on bottom, some mice dont even come with one (my last mouse) so i was pleased to see that this one had it.

Cons: I dont know what the problem is but sometimes the mouse cursor does not move properly and is very choppy/ laggy.. I never had this problem before and I dont know if its my computers fault or the mouse's, this is the only reason i took one egg off.

Other Thoughts: I think the blue track technology is pretty cool.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat mouse

Pros: For the price its an amazing mouse. I have yet to have any issue with the mouse it self.

Cons: Stock battery died in under a month.

Other Thoughts: Overall very glad I got this mouse. I will be buying more of them for my other computers and laptops.

4 out of 5 eggsSolid Mouse, Not-so-solid transceiver

Pros: Mouse is very solid. Good design, fits my hand, and the finish is somewhat rubberized so it doesn't slip. Works on almost all surfaces. Programmable side button. The click noise is more of a quiet pop, which I like a lot.

Cons: Resist the urge to insert and remove the USB transceiver a lot. Too much of that will break it, quick. This is the third one of these mice I've owned (1st I've bought on Newegg), and the mice never break, only the USB chips.

Other Thoughts: Great mouse, I have a few, and they all last me 2-3 years until the USB chip conks out.

5 out of 5 eggsSince Im the first, Im going to try to make as detailed as possible.

Pros: - Tried the mouse on 3 OS's so far (Win XP, Win 7, and Mac OSX) and all three found the usb dongle right away and the mouse responded within 10 seconds.
- Responsive on all surfaces I've tried (including skin + Clothing).
- Convenient hole in the bottom of the mouse for holding the usb dongle while on the move.
- A power switch on the bottom. (good for pulling pranks on first time users of the device)
- Tiny LED light on top to tell you when battery is going to die.
- Good ergonomic design.
- Total of 5 different input actions possible. (Right/Left/Wheel/Click-Wheel/ Thumb button)
- Simple yet room for options (IE. The odd yet genius 3rd button for your thumb (right-hand only))

Cons: - For me, the buttons seem too "soft". Like when I click the mouse and I have my headphones (and thus don't hear the "click") in I sometimes quickly catch my self saying internally. "Did that click go through? I don't think I felt anything."
- The scroll wheel is the same way and has no friction to it and thus when the screen moves, it's a tiny bit of a "whoa, wait did I just tell it to do that?" feeling.

Other Thoughts: - When you turn it on its side, it actually looks like a cartoon version of a mouse.
- Your thumb will thank you as it now actually has something to do!! (unless your left handed) Sorry :(
- After you stick the dongle inside the mouse for storage there is a little tiny eject usb dongle button on the bottom of the mouse to get it out again.
- Requires 1 AA Battery for use (in bottom of mouse).
- Just in case.... You stick the little metal USB in the Computer USB port!
- A bit pricey ($29.99) for a wireless mouse these day I think but I got it free in a Windows 7 PRO Promo.
