1 out of 5 eggstouch scroll bar doesn't work

Pros: Cool design. Comfortable.

Cons: The touch bar stops scrolling after about 15 seconds, at which time you must click the mouse off and back on to get it working again.

I thought it might need fresh batteries. Nope. I thought I might need to put the receiver dongle closer to where I use the mouse, so I bought a usb extension cable and now have the dongle six inches from my mouse pad. No improvement.

3 out of 5 eggsnice mouse but....

Pros: Works great. Tracks on almost any surface.

Cons: Good luck keeping track of the transceiver.

Other Thoughts: This is a nice concept. Unfortunately the tiny transceiver that comes with it is very easy to lose. Once it's gone, you'll have to contact microsoft hardware support (just imagine).

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's sleek and compact, perfect for using on when you're on the go and need to put it away really quick. The "mouse wheel" is handled pretty well, and it doesn't take long to get used to how the scrolling functions work.

It has an incredibly long battery life, I can't remember when I last changed the batteries, even then it's just 2 AAA batteries.

It can track the mouse perfectly on a wide range of things, even on bed sheets. I leave the USB receiver in my laptop all the time, but how it rests underneath the mouse is pretty cool. In fact, I used the same mouse on my last laptop and loved it then.

Even though it doesn't say it, the mouse does work with Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.

Cons: It's a tad bit expensive.

Other Thoughts: The clicking noise is a nice way to tell if the device is on- even though you already know it's on because of the fact that it's folded up. Admittingly it the clicking can get annoying very seldomly but I hardly pay attention to it.

5 out of 5 eggsDurable

Pros: Has worked flawlessly for over 3 years until I lost it.
Batteries last a long time nearly a year. Works on both the
Windows 7 and Mac systems of my MacBook Pro (with Windows installed)

Cons: The scroll takes some getting used to. It isn't as easy as a wheel, but one you get used to it, you don't notice it.

Other Thoughts: great in a laptop bag. I never unplug the USB receiver, because the mouse shuts off when you bend it straight.
Works from long distance. Don't need a mousepad necessarily, just your pants leg.

3 out of 5 eggsVery futuristic

Pros: The snap flat design is great for travel and commuting, saves space in laptop bag.

Cons: The need for a USB receiver is annoying, especially when the laptop has bluetooth, but the scroll wheel is MUCH more annoying! I have not been able to make it work the way I like, so I gave it to my wife who didn't use the wheel.

Other Thoughts: Fix the wheel and I would start using again.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Portable Mouse Ever

Pros: I haven't had any problems with mine. I use it with my Macbook Pro, and from the very first time I plugged the transceiver in, it's worked great. It folds flat, so it stores anywhere, and the USB transceiver sticks to a magnet on the underside so it doesn't get lost. I also get tons of "That's so cool!" and "Is that a mouse?" comments. And no one can believe it costs under $50.

Cons: It's not the most ergonomic mouse ever, but it's not meant to be. I also wish it were easier to turn the scrolling sound off. What a waste of battery power.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks cool

Pros: When it works it’s really nice. It is comfortable; the scroll pad works well, when it works. Looks nice too.

Cons: I rated one star because a mouse works, or it doesn’t. This one is erratic. Works for an hour or so then the mouse pointer get a mind of its own and flies all over the place. The scroll pad becomes unresponsive. The fix is to “snap” it closed than “snap” it back on. Good for another thirty minutes to an hour. I use it with a laptop with Windows 8.1 (not an upgrade) so I don’t think the OS is the problem. No other mouse apps or drivers were installed, so that shouldn’t be the problem. I bought this because my three year old wireless Logitech fell of the counter and died. Its battery life was great as well. I question “snapping” the mouse closed to save battery life. Seems like a mechanical place to fail just to save batteries. Since I needed a mouse now, I looked for a best buy. I will return it.

Other Thoughts: Maybe just a strange quirk. I have a blue mouse pad, and it doesn’t like it at all. Maybe the blue light, I don’t know. Could be just a coincidence. Also my Logitech worked without a pad on any surface except clear glass. This one seems to have a problem on any very smooth surface. But again, may that just goes with something being bad with it. I don’t generally give problem components a second chance.

5 out of 5 eggsPretty Darn Nice

Pros: received as a gift. Works right out of the box as expected. No drivers or software needed. Seems very accurate. Feather weight. Broke my older Logitech (which I liked just fine) by bouncing it off the kitchen floor. It was three years old and still worked fine, until the sudden stop...

Cons: Cool, but just a bit pricey.

Other Thoughts: Does take a few minutes to adjust from the feel of the classic mouse. That's it. A few minutes. I can't complain at all.

1 out of 5 eggsLooks good but poor quality

Pros: Looks and ergonomics

Cons: I bought this as replacement to old Logitech RF mouse to improve speed and usability in MS Office.
The center scroll does not work. Mouse has to be flattened (turned off) for scrolling to engage and then it disengages without notice in about a minute, sometimes less, while in the same application.
It could be defective unit, but I don't really see the need for experimenting with mice. Returned to Newegg.

4 out of 5 eggsThe most travel-friendly mouse I've ever used

Pros: The battery life is amazing. It can go months before needing replacement, and it also comes with 2 AAA's in the box, negating the need to spend extra money on batteries immediately.

The ability to turn it on by bending it into shape (and off by flattening it) is a great feature; it's become second nature to slap my hand down on the table to turn it off.

The device itself has great accuracy and works on a multitude of surfaces.

Cons: The only real con to this device is the requirement of the RF transceiver, though it's a double-edged sword. It consumes a USB port (which can be a bummer on devices like the Surface, which only has 1 USB port), but RF tends to be more reliable than trying to use Bluetooth.
