Pros: An excellent mouse for those needing either USB or PS/2 connectivity. It's easy to trash on the basis of lack of knowledge, but I have knowledge and given the correct and readily available USB to PS/2 adapter, this is a good mouse to purchase. If you don't have the needed USB/PS/2 adapter, it's readily available.

Cons: Only "con", if you can call it that, is you may need to purchase a USB to PS/2 adapter, readily available on Newegg. Just don't remember whether one was included, but that's exactly how I use the mouse, with an adapter into my PS/2 port.

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent quality mouse, ignore the naysayers. At worst, you'll need a USB to PS/2 adapter if you don't already have one. It's definitely compatible!

Pros: works ok as USB mouse

Cons: no adapters were shipped with the Mouse for use with
PS-2. Customer service says they are unavailable, ALTHOUGH the website still advertises the mouse to work on both "USA AND PS-2". Reordering does not guarantee you get what is advertised.

Pros: I'm using it plugged into a P/S2 port via a standard USB->PS/2 adapter, works great, good feel, good sensitivity -- exactly what I wanted to replace my previous basic MS mouse.

Cons: I really don't remember if it included the adapter, but made little difference to me, I already had one or more of them -- just unplugged the mouse that died and plugged in the new. However, if you don't already have a standard USB->PS/2 adapter, they're readily available for purchase.
