Pros: Small, connected with no difficulty, light, good travel size.

Cons: The scroll wheel is so tight that my finger slides over the top without the wheel turning. Considerable pressure must be applied in order to get the traction necessary for the wheel to turn. This results in two problems: First, scrolling and positioning the cursor becomes a distracting and imprecise effort that impedes concentration on the work at hand. Second, pressing the scroll wheel repeatedly activates the automatic scroll feature when it is not wanted.

Other Thoughts: After years of Microsoft success in developing mouse technology, I expected this product to be close to perfection. It is not. Fix the scroll wheel and it would be a great travel partner. As I have experienced the one I received, it is next to useless and now sits in the drawer. I would consider other products.

Pros: - Comfortable
- Well built
- Doesn't eat batteries like popcorn
- Magnetic battery door is a nice touch

Cons: - Has difficulty pairing with certain BT chipsets, especially the ones used in Dell laptops
- Has horrible lag problems with certain BT chipsets, like the ones in Dell laptops.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy this if you have a Dell XPS 15 with Windows 10. Your wireless chipset (it handles both wi-fi and bluetooth) is probably a Dell 17xx or 18xx (mine's a Dell 1830). It won't play nice with this mouse with current drivers (as of January 2016). The pairing process will fail repeatedly. After restarting the computer, the mouse, and various other things, you *might* get pairing to work. Once that happens, the mouse cursor will lag like it's drunk.

I keep hoping for a driver update that will address these issues, but nothing I've found works yet.

Pros: Works OK when it works

Cons: Ridiculous short battery life, No support from MS

Other Thoughts: I bought this mouse in part because of the claimed battery life of up to 6 months. I suppose 3 weeks would be included in up to 6 months. But when I called the support number, the not-particularly-English-speaking person I finally reached said they do not support this hardware in any way. It's worthless to me if I have to carry a pile of spare batteries around. I'll try another maker, I guess.

Pros: Compact design, slips right in my backpack and doesn't take much room.

Lightweight and glides easily, feels and looks good.

Fixed an issue I was having with the Microsoft Sculpt Bluetooth mouse where every so often the mouse would freeze for 5-10 seconds (which was quite aggravating, seemed to only happen between the Dell Bluetooth module and the Sculpt mouse, could never find a fix for it)

Cons: Don't know if this is the mouse's fault or my Dell Latitude E6530, but when inactive it will stop working, has been crashing the entire Bluetooth module within my laptop which means I have to disable/enable Bluetooth in Device Manager to get things to respond again. Unsure which is causing it, but since the driver my laptop is using was last updated in 2013 and there isn't a newer one available I will point my fingers more towards the laptop. Likely a driver compatibility. Since drivers from the mouse are installed automatically in Windows 8.1, I assume they are current. I will dock the rating 1 egg due to this issue and will update it later if I can prove the issue is the laptop Bluetooth and not the mouse's fault.

Other Thoughts: I will keep you informed on the BT sleep issue if it ends up being the mouse's fault.

Pros: Low profile for carrying with Surface tablets. Buttons are solid. Wheel is a little stiff initially. Kind of get used to it.

Cons: Magnetic battery cover does not hold the batteries in place during transport. The batteries are too heavy and always push the cover opened.

Pros: The Microsoft Personal Mouse is the best Blue Tooth mouse that can be used for Tablet use . I is big but still able to fit in your pocket for travel purposes.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This mouse can be used with any application but tablet use is excellet. The pictures are misleding.
