4 out of 5 eggsVery good

Pros: low profile
good sound
good mic
in-line controls
short mic

Cons: not wireless ;)
mic is maybe a little too sensitive

Other Thoughts: I'm happy with this item. It works well, but perhaps the mic is a little /too/ sensitive. When I'm using voice-activated, as opposed to PTT, I have to turn the sensitivity down in my app to it's lowest setting in order to not pick up all background noise.

A wireless version would be amazing.

4 out of 5 eggsBest phone headset I've had so far

Pros: Tiny, practically weightless, and sleek-looking .. can plug into multiple computers AND the 2.5mm jack on my VOIP phones. Sound quality is first rate, others say I sound great on same system I used other headsets with negative comments. Once in position you forget the headset is there and it works well. Price is great for quality. The newegg shipping was insanely fast. Try this for Skype and Google Voice connections, it amazed me.

Cons: I have small ear canal so earbud does not sit inside my ear, a bit uncomfortable to put on and get into position. The ear clip goes above the ear, which hits my glasses.. the earclip on my other Plantronics phones fit under the ear (great great design) but they sound so bad I just don't use them any more and paid the same price. I don't like the control module on the main (3.5mm) cable, it's a bit clunky, in comparison to the sleek design of the headset itself, and it's too heavy.

Other Thoughts: The 2.5mm cables seem just a touch fragile, the cable sheathing/insulation is very lightweight/malleable which is great for comfort fit and handling but will it be tough enough to withstand normal desk usage of pulling in and out of jacks..

5 out of 5 eggsNeat

Pros: It's neat. I like it, and regardless of what others have said about the hard rubber that irritates their ears, they must have some sort of dumbo ears or something. The rubber piece is almost too big for me, yet is quite comfortable. Very clear sound, and good mic.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Big rubber piece for the ears... almost too big. But still fits well enough. At least I don't have to worry about it falling off or anything like that.

5 out of 5 eggsNice headset!

Pros: Long cable, Very clear headphone and mic, the cable can be shortened by pulling the plug above teh volume button which I think will be handy if you just need to use the headset as a speaker with laptops(The cable length shortens to about 2-3 feet). Fits comfortably on my ear, easy to adjust to fit both ears. I bought it to chat online and it works well with yahoo, skype and google talk.

Cons: None I can think of so far.

2 out of 5 eggsddWhy is this rated so high

Pros: none, really... I guess it has okay voice

Cons: no way to adjust, it fits or it doesn't. For me, it doesn't. Terrible raspy audio, bulky design so it's not portable, and I could have bought a cheapo for better. In fact, I got a free one with a digital camera I just bought, love it a lot more.

Other Thoughts: still confused about how this got good reviews

2 out of 5 eggsNot comfortable for everyone

Pros: It's cheap, long cord, and it looks decent.

Cons: The earpiece can be very painful. It uses a very thick, hard rubber that is not very flexible. It is not a minor irritation like some other headsets have from hours of use, these hurt right from the beginning.

The microphone is not very sensitive, so you will have to crank everything up to max settings in windows, and in the software you are using, and also talk very loud.

Other Thoughts: Newegg doesn't allow refunds on this product. I would look at a product that is more ergonomic and comfortable.

It looks like the Plantronics CS55, but it's one size fits all earpiece without any kind of cushion make this unpleasant to use.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Been using this mic for TF2 and other multiplayer games. Works like a charm. Others have told me the voice quality is very clear.

Cons: Can't complain so far.

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the price.

Pros: Great for voice chat on Skype, as said by amacleod. Sensitive enough mic for voices to be heard, even whispers. It's also not too sensitive that background noises are heard. Comfortable around ear, including bud. Lightweight. Looks nice. Great cord length. Easily adjustable for either ear. Reasonable price.

Cons: Ear bud is a bit bigger than average. Built in volume-control is a bit useless, and it's heavy enough to pull at your ear piece which could create excess noise; fortunately it has a clip on it, but it can be bothersome to clip and unclip it to and from your shirt.

Other Thoughts: This may not be right for those who absolutely have to have sound on both ears, but for people who don't mind, it's perfect. I've been looking for compact one-sided headsets for a while, especially one that didn't have to have a headband that would ruin my hair all the time. This is exactly what I've been looking for. You'll also appreciate the short mic-piece if you tend to eat often in front of your computer; no more need to push up your mic for such occations. :)

4 out of 5 eggsGood for Skype, bad for gaming

Pros: Lightweight, clear sound. Inexpensive.

Cons: Horrible feedback when used with regular speakers. Also, it's a little tough to fit over my earlobe alongside my glasses.

Other Thoughts: I bought this headset for Skype, so it's great for that. For voice-enabled games, though, where I want to have the speakers turned on, it's totally unusable.
