4 out of 5 eggsCheap headset with good sound

Pros: Worked perfectly until my cats ate the cables. Nothing fancy, just high quality stereo sound and a very clear mic for such an inexpensive headset

Cons: A bit flimsy, but it also helps it take a good number of drops and stomps. I didn't treat this headset kindly and it just kept on working.

Other Thoughts: Really good quality for the cost.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Quality item. Well built, sounds great; both in your ears, as well as the microphone according to others)

Cons: I had the version of these that goes behind the head (instead of over the head) and they didn't hurt the ears like this model does.

3 Eggs only because of the massive discomfort.

If they can make comfortable ones, why not make these ones comfy too?

If you can find the version that goes behind the head, get those instead.

Other Thoughts: I wish Newegg carried the ones that go behind the head, you can't even feel you're wearing them.

These over-the-head ones hurt after a few minutes/hours.

2 out of 5 eggsThey are awful for gaming or music.

Pros: Small, comfortable, have a mic.

Cons: The audio is pretty bad, compared with the other headset they are selling for 30 without a mic. I sat on that one before by accident..... I have a better Ear Force X12 now though.

Other Thoughts: I could have returned it, but it would have being wrong, as it does work, the only problem is that is bad. I'll gift it.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Sound is decent, microphone sounds ok.

Cons: The quality of the construction is pitiful at best. They do not fit your head well and are not comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Sennheiser PC161 are only slightly more and 40x better build quality.

Other Thoughts: Pay the extra, get the PC161 or better.

1 out of 5 eggsnot a good buy

Pros: lightweight, long cord

Cons: both the ear cushions came off in 5 weeks.
the sound quality is average

Other Thoughts: I have bought at least 40 Sennheiser headphones in the last 10 years, this model is by far the worst. I would suggest getting the PC 151 for a few dollars more, the PC 151 is 10 times the quality

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: It has a microphone, and the microphone works.
The sound quality is almost average, but I use speakers anyway.
It has a really long cord.
Comfortable to wear, although it doesn't feel very secure on my head.

Cons: The microphone quality is terrible. It is bearable for things like Skype calls, but if you want to game with a microphone, stay far away from this one.
The microphone piece doesn't extend out very far, so I always feel like I'm about to bite down on it.

Other Thoughts: It is definitely NOT worth the forty dollar price tag. If you're going to spend money to get a microphone, you REALLY should spend the extra 30 to get a halfway decent one. I made the mistake of buying a cheap one, and now I'm stuck having to spend another eighty dollars to get a real mic.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money in the long term

Pros: Comfortable, mic sound quality is good

Cons: Left ear bud starting clipping about 9 months after I bought it, left side went completely dead after 13 months.

Other Thoughts: I know some people would think it's fine that they lasted about a year, but I think if you are paying $40 or more for headphones you would hope you would get at least two years out of them.

4 out of 5 eggsMy opinion

Pros: *Good clear sound quality, noise canceling microphone
*Decent price for what you are getting
*Skype certified as described is definitely a pro
*Plug in and usable
*Nice clip on adjustable volume/mute piece integrated onto cord

Cons: *minor discomfort when gaming a while but is overall ok
*breakable plastic band might be a issue as stated in other cases but hopefully should be fine with normal daily use.
*Those small in stature might find a bit of a size problem but I fit it on with a slant and it works fine of course.

Other Thoughts: *I bought or my computer but does seem limited to it rather than for moving about though on box it does negate a rating for mobile use and shows its intended purpose is for PC home use or Office. (long cord)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: -Great audio quality
-Microphone is very clear
-Good controls
-8 foot cord

Cons: -I have my mic amplified 20db, might just be my voice
-Plastic isn't very strong, but it hasn't snapped yet.
-Headset can dig into head after a while
-8 foot cord

Other Thoughts: I don't usually use these with anything else than my computer since the cord is so long.
