5 out of 5 eggsThe best earphone under $100

Pros: Very balanced sound, bass and treble are not overwhelming each other. Very detailed and natural sounding, A huge improvement over the CX300. Trust me, I am a sound enthusiast, I have tried many different kind of earphone including, Zen Aurvana(Not enough bass, but detailed sounding in the high range) , Bose Triport IE (Bass overwhelming), JBL Reference 220 (very noticeable bass, but not good with high vocal)

Cons: None. Can't go wrong with sennheiser

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: One of the best features are the changeable ear canal fitting parts. Great sound and it truly does give a great justice to 95% of your music, (unless you have bad mp3 recordings.)

Cons: WAY TO LOUD. not really a problem if you just turn down the volume but for the first three days playing System of a Down caused some ringing. Not the manufactor's fault but my own. Turn them down. Also it does suction the air out of your ears which over time you get used to but the first 30mins I had to slow down while jogging.

3 out of 5 eggsGood but flimsy

Pros: Excellent sound. The difference between these and standard earbuds is like night and day. I'm also pretty sure they eat less power than earbuds due to the smaller driver size, but I don't really know either way for sur

Cons: Extremely poor workmanship on the wiring from the Y-splitter right up to the earbud itself. The wires on my first set literally yanked out as I was putting them on one day, and my second set just crapped out on me this morning (left earbud is dead). Neither set lasted past the three month mark. I use them every weekday to and from work.

It's a shame that Sennheiser skimped on certain characteristics that render the product very flimsy and unable to put up with day-to-day usage for more than a couple of months.

2 out of 5 eggsPlease Don't Buy

Pros: Clear Highs

Cons: No lows,
Someone else reviewed the same thing, if you want a full bodied experience this isn't it.
The frequency range is bull----, my 10 dollar skullcandies sound so much nicer
Huge amount of noise and interference

Other Thoughts: Worst headphone ever....Not worth 10 dollars. Apart from the ear fitting, they are terrible...they sound sharp and raspy

Please, do yourself a favor and save some money, and buy some skullcandy or danon

Newegg did deliver quickly, but not happy with my purchase, the box had to be cut open, so don't know how to return them now...but i would never buy them agian...ever

4 out of 5 eggsNice, for the right price

Pros: Deliver great sound reproduction, and sound isolation. Use them on the but, and can have the volume on my ipod at near the minimum, yet still clearly hear music or radio.

Cons: After about 3 months the wiring is becoming exposed. This also happened with my ipod headset. The weak point for my cx500 is at the joint below the in-line volume control.
I guess that's what happens when they are used everyday.
2 year warranty, so maybe i'll have it fixed? though the sound is not yet compormised.

5 out of 5 eggsSennheiser, can you hear my applause?

Pros: These headphones do just what they state, keep all of the unwanted noise out and off to a distance. I owned a pair of the Bose and these are a little less comparable except for the fact that on the Bose you could hear EVERYONE AROUND YOU including the music. This is just a little lacking in sound comparatively, but it keeps the yappy talkers out of your head while commuting. Now you just see moving lips instead of hearing "did he really", "are you gonna", "the stock price went" mind numbing cell phone calls. It almost blocks out all of the ambient noise from the NYC Subways (If you've ever been on the NYC Subway, that should be testament enough!!!)

Cons: Newegg didn't have them for the cheapest (that's okay, still love Newgg though).
The volume slider could be a little stiffer. There have been times when I've accidentally cranked the volume all the way UP, by brushing my backpack against it. Very painful since these can be really loud.

Other Thoughts: These have taken a beating from me and are still kickin' out some great tunes on my ipod. I will definitely be picking up 2 more sets for my siblings.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great sounding clear highs, good bass no distortion. Turned my EQ off on my ipod. Handy volume control. Comes with many canal adapters for proper fit. Also great for external noise cancel, "yappy cell phoners", "I was like", "he was like", "we were like", -ers

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Buy them and you'll be very satisfied.

Newegg, of course, the best.
