SENNHEISER PC31 Dual 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Headset

Pros: Had very good sound quality, clear and rich, even with bass (for headphones)

Cons: quality has slowly gotten worse to the point that everything sounds metallic as if thru a tin can, and anything even resembling bass is nothing but crackling, chose Sennheiser because friends swear by them. Hope I can get this resolved with Newegg/Senheiser.

Pros: Inexpensive and performs as advertise
Decent quality build

Cons: Nothing really because you get what you pay.

Other Thoughts: Buy this if you want to skype and do conference calls without having to spend more $$.

Pros: - Good input/output quality
- No installation necessary, works out of the box

Cons: - No mute/volume control on the cord
- Slightly higher than normal compression of the ears

Pros: The sound quality is great from this headset. I use it for gaming and everyone says that my mic sounds crystal clear. When I'm playing online, I hear people before I see them. I also use them to listen to music and they sound really good--I was surprised. The headset feels very durable and it says on the box that they won a design award. They're light so they're very comfortable to wear for hours at a time.

Cons: Sometimes if I turn them up too much, and I'm listening to bass-heavy music, I hear low-end distortion from the drivers and feel the subsequent vibration from the earpads. This is only an issue if you're listening to music louder than you should be.

Other Thoughts: I own serious headphones--Beyerdynamic DT880s on a Headroom amp and dac--and the sound quality from this headset was surprisingly good. I'm not going to pretend that they're as good as my Beyerdynamics but they sound just as good as any uncomfortable "eargoggles" that I see many gamers wearing.

This was one of the best "value" purchases I've ever made. I purchased a spare set to have around but I don't see any reason why the first set would break any time soon.

Pros: Light, comfortable, long cord. Flexable mic is a plus.

Cons: Weak sound, Overloaded easily while gaming, no usb connection.

Pros: Decent sound, decent bass, decent mic, sturdy despite being lightweight, sennheiser brand.

Cons: Feels pretty lightweight but survived being hauled around in my backpack for a week.

Other Thoughts: Bought one for home and one for the office, both have been great.

Pros: Good materials and build quality for the price. It uses a lot of rubber so it has a lot of give and will adjust to your head quickly, unlike some hard plastic headsets. Sound quality is okay.
Nice and long cord. It's very flexable.

Cons: The mic picks up more background noise than I'm used to. It could use a microphone cover. The mic sound quality is also somewhat poor, but at least you won't sound like a robot.
The ear padding is very thin and provides little comfort.
Two cords instead of one. It seems very oldschool.

Other Thoughts: If you want a fairly cheap and loose-but-perfect fitting headset, and your ears aren't particularly sensitive to the lack of padding, I'd recommend it.

Pros: Very Comfortable, lightweight and adjustable fit. The headset mic has a slight dull click when you adjust this. I think this is a plus because it secures the mic in position. 2 year warrenty

Cons: No cons because the description is everything it says.

Other Thoughts: I wish the base and the high's (hz's and the khz's) was deeper (base) and much higher frequency response. I think this is great for Kids for presents because the cant blow their ear drums. Its good sound. Would have gave it 5 stars if cheaper cost and better options.

Pros: Great sound and price. Comfortable

Cons: Feel flimsy, like my fat head will break them.

Pros: Sound quality is excellent on this. I feel like I can hear footsteps from a mile away in cod4 and css.

Its very light, and comfortable to wear for long periods.(unlike some headsets ive had in the past which would make my ears hurt after a while *cough*dsp-500*cough*.

Cons: The mic quality is mediocre. It seems prone to that loud windtunnel sound if you breath on it, so you have to position it below your mouth instead of in front. The mic arm is a hard rubbery thing that can be bent a bit to position better, I thought it was just hard plastic from looking at the pics but its not. All I use it for is voice chat while gaming, and it works well enough for that, so not a big concern.

Other Thoughts: A very good gaming headset, especially for this price range. Sound quality is excellent. Mic quality is meh, but good enough for voice chat.

There's no volume control on the cord like there are with a lot of headsets, so you have to control the volume in windows. So be careful to turn the sound down a bit before you use these for first time or you might hurt your ears. I have a keyboard with volume controls on it so I can use that to adjust while in-game. If you don't have that it might be a slight pain for you, but its not a concern for me.
